What's your DPI for Mi5s Plus? - Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus Questions & Answers

Hello,
I want to know about your DPI. I'm looking for ideal DPI for my phone.
Thanks

Mine is 380.

Hello mine is 365, under 365 SwiftKey looks bad, and with miui 9 weather app shape bug fixed with that dpi

390 here , but i think 380 should be the best choice

I'm using 336 right now. I think this It is the default that comes with Nexus Experience and display size: smallest.
It works great for me!

Tablet launcher

I see go launcher has a tablet version but I can't install it. Is there any good tablet launchers that do work on Note?
From the Beast : Galaxy Note
Install Imilka's ICS rom then change your dpi to 213 and you'll have tablet mode as standard.
Other option is VTL Launcher https://market.android.com/details?id=com.vtlab.launcher - Sassibob reviews it a few months ago

SPB Mobile Shell has a "tablet" mode which works well on the Note. I have been using it since I got the Note in November. It is relatively expensive, but for me it provides what I want and therefore is good value for money. It also has some good widgets... I attach a screen capture of the Weather widget.

I'm liking it so far. Will give it a go for a few days. Really like the weather widget

Nova & apex are pure ICS and both support landscape..
Adw drops to tablet mode but only at 160 (I think)
I've managed to install Go Launcher HD but it gives me a message that I should be using Go Launcher for phones (option to either cancel or go to market to download phone version). If I could only get rid of this pop-up message... I love Go Launcher widgets but the phone version lags in tablet mode...

AI float n split tablet keyboard , 2 questions

Anyone used this on a tablet and has anyone gotten it to work on their note? I can't get it to install on my note.

Just a heads up I finally got it to work and it is a cool keyboard and would be cool on a full size 10 inch tab but not the note. The normal ai keyboard plus tablet with split layout is more suited to the note

Launcher 7

Hey all, who all is using Launcher 7 and what's your thoughts about it? I have used it before on my Atrix and now I'm using it on my Note and love it. Been finding cool tile images and such to make it awesome. I know it may not be "the perfect launcher", but it runs fairly good.
I am running Launcher 7 on Stunner .19.

I used it a lot back on my SGSII and Captivate, but ever since switching over to ICS (I love the stock launcher) I've been using Apex. I tried Launcher 7 and it was just.. buggy. More than usual. I never had problems back on Gingerbead.

Interesting. What kind of bugs were you experiencing? Don't get me wrong, I love Apex! I haven't had very many problems at all with Launcher 7 so far.
go?
i love go launcher. it was great on S2 but on the note sometimes slow
the problem is that its all set with all the settings and folder i use and its comfortable so that's why i don't go back to the stock one

+1 for running Launcher 7 on Galaxy Note
I don't like so much the look of the Launcher 7, I prefer 360 launcher but with many widgets it is become really slow and I try now Hi launcher, new ergonomy but for note I cannot like 360 launcher have a 7x6 for widgets
I want a fusion between some launcher to make the perfect one !!!
I never liked any launchers before as they would eat away unnecessary RAM and will be laggy. But few days back I tried the Launcher7 and I was impressed. I love it and use it now on my note - love the way I can configure the tiles.
Is there any launcher 7 developing thread?

I got the donate version for my old nexus s but don't like how big the tiles look on my note. I emailed the developer asking him about possibly adding a 3rd column so all that space is used efficiently (plus it would look really good on the note) but sadly... i seem to have been ignored. Love Launcher 7 on a 4 inch screen but not on a screen as big as our note, the tiles just look BIG
I love launcher 7 and the whole wp7 look. Ive pretty much replaced standard apps with wp7 equivalents as well as the status bar and how i get notifications. These are my tiles

My friend you are so wrong!!!
IT IS THE PERFECT LAUNCHER!!
once you get to know all the tricks its a beauty, and its guarenteed the fastest way to launch apps-everything at your fingertips
Try running multicon from market, u can have like 4 or 6 icons all in the one tile area!

I just simply add a tile that takes me directly to my favourite launcher (such as apex or nova)
It could not be simpler and you get the best of both worlds

Install multicon. Each tile space becomes 4 or 6 or 8 seperate icons. you will love it

Changing font sizes resolution!

Hi everyone
I just bought my Galaxy Plus 7 and upgraded it to ICS. Ive been using an original Galaxy Tab 7 for 2 years and still going great, running Gingerbread. Love my tab so much but really starting to get bit slow, specially with some newer apps.
When side by side with my original Tab 7 that has GREAT legibility and all large icons and fonts, on the new Plus all fonts are very small and all is too tiny and difficult to see on the screen. Its really bad and I need fix this.
Which app/s can be used to change DPI? I searched on Google Market and there are lots of apps they all say they do the same better then the other one but I dont know which one to choose..
Thank you a lot in advance for hints or recommendation on apps and DPI settings for the new Tab:cyclops::cyclops::cyclops:

Notes

If you find yourself with overheating issues as I did on my AT&T white LG G3, using Resolution Changer from the Play Store may help!
The template of 1080X1920 (GalaxyS4) or default resolution, but using the 540 or 530 DPI should help! My LG G3 returned to its normal temperature, and haven't any troubles with heat, as of yet. (unless heavy gaming )
EDIT: Default resolution with a DPI of 540 or 530 is much more pleasant to look at.
Here's what I have on my G3 right now that may interest you. Please use google, if necessary.
-Rooted
-Resolution Changer
-G3 Tweakbox (THE BEST 3VR) Im running Android L theme on Stock ROM !!
- Ad block plus
-Xposed
-Greenify (Perfect setup for anti-batterydrain and Ram hogs)
-Youtube Adaway
Hopefully this would be a great reference to ya'll.
If you need any help, just ask!
I just got my LG G3 a month ago, and I've been quite happy; can't wait for that bootloader unlock so we can unleash this beast!

Yea but when using that resolution the status bar icons are huge.

Yes, I know, so what I did, I kept the exact default resolution and just changed the DPI to 530 or 540, it looks so much better! Trust me! Oh and that might also be the reason, why my phone hasn't been heating up and it's been smooth as ever!
