You need identical hardware to do that. So, no it's not possible.

This is the furthest from the truth. Porting from mtk (a joke of a chip maker) to snapdragon is not even remotely easy or worth it as there is underlying code that has to be changed for it to work properly. Other wise you get what you mentioned. A non booting screen. In best case you wind up with a rom that I wouldn't run on a toaster.

Looks like very few poeple buying this phone no community at all well we all are waiting for KIT KAT
You can't flash this on any other variants as the Korean variant has Snapdragon 800 processor. You may end up bricking your device in the process of flashing incompatible firmwares.

I believe that's the case with most phones, unless they're flagship devices. I'm pretty much done with "romming", though. Changing system fonts was my other pull towards customization/rooting (I absolutely hate Roboto), but thanks to FlipFont and a certain PlayStore application, I can now use whichever font I fancy (without needing to root). I do hope there's a Kitkat update on the horizon, though.
Slowly killing me, seem we are not loved by samsung

Guess it'll not work on N7500 right? I know it wont, but cant do anything else other than to ask you.
Language support??
Is it korean only language or multi?
N750S is the Note 3 Neo model with Snapdragon 800 processor sold only in Korea so ROM cannot be flashed on any other variant of the Note 3 Neo.
Can someone post a change log and some screen shots of ROM to show the changes compared to Jellybean .

Hello everyone,
I read several forums, so I installed cpu-z to know on what mtk my phonewas running. Strangely I was on Exynos Octa 7420. So I put my phone in download mode, and appeared a Chinese menu (that's how I know I have a fake s6).
So I would like to know, is there a way to install a recovery and a rom on a phone like this ?!
PS: model number is sm-g920l on lollipop 5.0.2
I think you can try kingroot because supports a lot of smartphones, and if the root method works then you can try follow this guide for switching to supersu

i think its just fake info keep in mind they still can trick apps to show fake info if you want to root it without knowing what are you doing it may end up dead forever
I found that it's a mtk mobile. But my version (mt6735) is unrootable ... Any idea why ?!
Why so you even have a fake device? How about returning it for a real one?

There are a few root methods for this chipset, you need to make sure the bootloader is unlocked though 1st before trying. I had a quick google for root methods and did see a few possible working ones.
I had made this ROM. you find this ROM at, "http://aplusrom.weebly.com/".

Could you give us some details about this rom please??
It doesn't even boot.
Details? nah.
There is a reason why this tablet has caused so many to run into walls - it has an alien (in many ways) configuration compared to every other Samsung tablet - even the Galaxy Tab 2 that it replaced. The T4 used the Marvell PXA1088 SoC. While there were two Wi-fi versions (T230NU and T235NU), they are not identical - nor can one take the firmware of the other; the T235 has a Lollipop firmware available - the more common T230NU does not.

Can a mod please close this thread? Thank you.
I stopped developing for all of my supported devices last month.
Has anyone successfully installed TWRP for Samsun Galaxy A22 5G? If so, how? I'm itching to root my new phone.

Unfortunately, there aren't any TWRP for this device, thanks to it's mediatek chipset. Developers of TWRP are probably more interested in Snapdragon and Exynos phones.
Also, as this phone is new Samsung might have been not yet released their kernel sources (something necessary for building TWRP) so you can do nothing but wait.
