[Q]Play videos through TV after root?

I know the HTC inspire doesnt support HD output, But i was wondering if there something that i can do to allow me to watch netflix through my tv since it is rooted?? Is there something I can install to enable it?

Use the 4 other sources of netflix streaming available. We can't with this phone.
A WiFi TV
Blueray player
Xbox /PS 3/Wii
IPad with the Apple tv out cables.

cdordon is correct, but I wanted to add a little more detail about why this isn't possible.
Unless a phone has direct video out, like micro HDMI the only way to have video out is through MHL. For MHL you need MHL capabilities in your phone, a micro USB port (who doesn't have one nowadays?) and an MHL adapter that outputs HDMI. You can buy MHL adapters but our phone doesn't have an MHL chip. I'm pretty sure it came out before they were available.

wouldn't there be a way to stream the video over wifi tho ? i don't think the phone could handle upload and download @ same time trying to stream netflix to the phone and back to the tv but, if you had the movie on a SD card i don't see why you couldn't stream it to the tv

Gt8.9 hdmi adapter

Does any has a hdmi adapter for gt8.9, I want to watch netmovies films
in my samsung led tv, I saw a original device with 3 conectors, one for hdmi, one for gt30pin and one for usb power but I read this output is just for video aplication and not a screen mirrow.

I have the Samsung branded HDMI out connector its 30 pin and there is a slot for the power cord to plug in on the adapter because it Must be powered up to work.but it does mirror the picture looks good. If you have a smart tv by Samsung you should be able to wirelessly connect you tv I think media hub does it.

AllShare will also play to XBMC as well if you have a media PC

[Help] n5 not connecting to TV.

Hello guys,
My nexus 5 is not connecting with the TV via usb cable. Previously I had a phone and I use to play movies from that phone to the TV. What to do???

You need to buy a Slim Port adapter. It plugs into the HDMI port of your TV, not USB.
Edit: Or if you have a smart TV, screencast. In display settings.

What TV do you have? You need a HDMI on your TV

Yep it does have a HDMI port BTW its lg 42 inch

"lg 42 inch" hardly tells us anything lol..

If your TV is a 42' LCD with HDMI ports, I'm pretty sure it's a HDTV. Link to your television if you can find it? As long as there's a working HDMI connection, slimport should work.
Just pick one up from RadioShack or something. Keep the receipt. If it doesn't work just go back and tell them that and return it.

MHL is for Samsung devices. Nexus uses a slimport to plug it on an HDTV and yes your TV is HDTV since it has an HDMI port
