I've been trying to switch my Sprint Note5 to Cricket Wireless carrier and have been having all sorts of issues. Sprint claims they have now unlocked my phone but every time I go to the Cricket Store they put a SIM in and it says my phone is locked and wont work. Cricket claims my phone IS compatible but we cant figure out what else to do to get the phone to work with the Cricket SIM. Anyone have an idea of what else I can do? I want to get rid of Sprint ASAP >.>

I have T-mobile service, but a friend of mine gave me a Note Edge for Verizon, because my phone died on me. I couldn't turn down a free phone even if it isn't originally for my carrier. Being that the Verizon phone is unlocked it will work on T-mobile's network however it comes with all of their software, and lacks some of the features the T-mobile version would else wise come with. This may be a silly question, but has anyone found a way to root and change maybe the rom or software boot sequence of a verizon phone to flash it to T-mobile software? Is that possible?
This phone was originally straight talk but straight talk unlocked it for me and I got verizon but I want boost mobile now, I even got a new sim but the phone keeps saying this isnt a verizon sim card which is weird bCuz last time I checked. Verizon should be unlock plus I'm on prepaid so can anyone or does anyone know somebody who can unlock it for me for free ?
I have an unlocked verizon S7 edge before. I switch to MetroPcs way later. The phone that I bought from metro broke so I wanted to use my unlocked S7 edge. So I called customer service to activate this unlocked phone by adding the new imei to my existing sim. But I get negative response saying that it's not compatible and I can't add it, I try to use the chat to set it up but same answer.
I've seen friends and other people use their verizon phone on MetroPcs successfully without any fuss. So my question is why am I not able to use my unlock phone with the network when I seen it work with other people. Is metro pulling my leg and they want me to waste money on another metropcs phone when I have a perfectly able phone. Does anyone know how to go about this.
I am thinking of switching to Verizon from ATT. I have the ATT note 8.
Verizon asked me for the IMEI and told me that it would work on their network.
Does that seem right? Anyone have any experience with problems that may occur when trying to do that?
If it is unlocked there should not he aany issues.
I switched from Verizon to AT&T and had absolutely no problems what so ever. But Verizon doesn't have 5G so I can't imagine why you would want to switch?
I came across a Note 10+ that was purchased from Verizon and I wanted to use it on TMobile. I know the Verizon devices are SIM unlocked so voice and data should work fine however I am worried that I will still be stuck with all the Verizon bloat and WIFI calling won't work.
Does anything change to TMobile's when you factory reset the device and put in a TMobile SIM?
Thanks in advance!
It might still be locked, unless 60 days passed

Yes Verizon locked phones for 60 days. Then they automatically unlock phones.
