Oppo mirror 5 (a51w) - development needed

I am hoping some recognized developers are interested in developing root, custom recovery and custom ROM for oppo mirror 5.
If some developers buy the device, then they'll likely develop things for it.
Until then, this thread won't help.
Thread closed.

[help please] Port the Pixel Experience 12L to x86_64

Let me give you a background on me... I am a developer for Objective-C, C#, and XAML. I Used to make old school Mac apps in the powerpc days, then I moved to vb.net Windows Forms apps... now I am a .NET MAUI Developer. So, I told my self... I can't be that hard to port PE12L to x86_64 PC with Android Generic Project but, IT IS VERY DIFFICULT. Firstly, I cannot even get the actual PE12L ROM to build it's self never mind the Android Generic Project part. What are the magical system requirements to build AOSP or GSI ROMs? I'm on a fresh copy of Ubuntu 20.04.4. I ram the scrips on the PE Website. I installed repo. what else is needed? Do, I run the build as my standard user or as super user? can someone please point me into the right direction?

Hi Oswald,
I am not a noob to development. I've been a developer for 30+ years. I am new to android rom development. I know 15+ programing languages. I'm just looking for some assistance to get started with ROM Development from fellow developers.
Thank you!

Perfect! I must've misunderstood. Thank you! I'm new to posting on XDA.
So, an update... I got the PE ROM to build. I was trying to build the unofficial GSI Version which apparently has bugs. Now, I'm going to run Android Generic Project on the PE Source Code... crossing my fingers.
Why don't you ask the BlissTeam for help? They'll tell you what to do. You can download Android 12L x86 (+ Houdini 12.1) as an example. And see how it works there. Good luck

Unable to boot my oneplus 7 pro, it stays in the boot screen

I had used one of the recommended official roms to revert from pixelexperience back to oxygenOS, but somewhere along the line, my boot/recovery images were destroyed and now I am unable to fix it at all. I have a gm1911 model, and am currently unable to see my phone in the adb devices list, but can use fastboot. I do not have any recovery apps installed, and have at this point tried multiple different tutorials, none of which helped. would HIGHLY appreciate any help given. I created an account on here specifically for this so I am unsure if this post is in the right place, please let me know if it isn't.
