Hello everyone here's my first rom , Lineage OS 14.1 for Redmi 3s/3sprime (land).

Distribution and Lineage is a free and open-
source operating system for smartphones and tablet
computers, based on the Android mobile platform. It is the successor to the highly popular custom ROM
CyanogenMod, from which it was forked in December 2016 when Cyanogen Inc. announced it was discontinuing development and shut down the infrastructure behind the project. Since Cyanogen Inc. retained the rights to the Cyanogen name, the project rebranded its fork as LineageOS.
LineageOS was officially launched on December 24, 2016, with the source code available on GitHub.
Since that time LineageOS development builds now cover more than 178 phone models with over 1.6 million installs,having doubled its user base in the month February–March 2017

- Take backup of your current rom
- Wipe system, data and dalvik cache/cache
- Flash ROM
- Flash Gapps
- Reboot.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Root is not included by default on LineageOS 13.0. You need to install an add-on via recovery. You only need to install this once. You can download the SU add-on here
After installation go to Settings>Developer Options>Root access and set to Apps only or Apps and ADB.
LineageOS comes with LineageOS Recovery by default, if you don't like it (like me ) you can flash alternative recoveries using IsoRec. You really need 1GB /system partition. The smallest build-configuration is larger than 512mb. You can use ODIN, but you can also use Lanchon's REPIT.

What is the difference in 13 & 14?
This is Candy9. Built straight from source with commits from a variety of different Sources/ROMS. We wanted to give the users a fun, fully customizable ROM, with regular updates and security patches.

Kernel GSL: I'm not violating any kind of license since it is based on GSI, so the kernel is came with Emui 8.0.0 called kernel.img so all credits goes to Huawei.
Installation:
Reboot to TWRP.
Run factory reset.
Reboot to TWRP again!
Run full wipe.
Flash the ROM, SimplGAPPS.
Enjoy.

- Animations are laggy

thanks for reporting, I'll check this issue on next builds look like bluetooth crash for some reason.

Flashed on my 900t.. successful..but Android system prompt shows. Your system has an internal problem. I think it's cuz of the sim that's in. This rom flashed fine on 900t. Magisk not successful, but SuperSU flashes fine.
It should not flash with TWRP for hltemo, but TWRP for hlte. Awesome rom jp!
Edit...rom works good on hltemo but magisk and n SuperSU will flash with errors ... Aborts the root in TWRP. Other than that, it runs fine. No reboots or FC's.

As i said.. Its for HLTE only. That error occurs because of fingerprint, device model/product etc declared on ROM's build.prop that is mismatched on your tmo device.

I have flashed hlte to my hltemo tons of times . I just have to make sure I flash TWRP for hlte.

Hello, thank you for creating a custom ROM. My wife uses Lenovo Phab Plus with stock ROM 5.1.1, but it is laggy even after a factory reset. How is the smoothness of this custom ROM? Can it be used as a daily driver? (Sorry, I cannot just try it because it is not mine)

i have the exact same problem! cant have both the rom installed and gapps! if i install gapps the recommned one i will get stuck on boot and cant install from open gapps either! i have a lineage os now without gapps! plz help

Sorry for the late reply, everything works fine except for Camera, GPS seems to be funky. It is pretty smooth, much better than the stock ROM.

No it won't, it needs the vendor implementation to work too.
