[Q] Can't get past boot logo

Hey guys,
First off I am the newbiest of the noobs. And I think I stumbled into bricking my asus tf101. I was wondering if you incredibly amazing developers would have a work around for me
I had rooted the TF101 a while back it worked everything was fine, I was frustrated with the poor video performance and thought maybe upgraded to jellybean may improve some speed issues with the tablet. So I ran off did some fast googling and found a forum that posted the nightlies. (Team EOS from this site)
I downloaded the first one (right to the tablet) booted into the root bootloader thing (yea im so noob I don't even know the proper wordage) and installed from that.
Now when it boots it sits at a 4 colored square logo that rotates a pules. each little piece glows (like it's loading) but it just sits there forever. i have waiting 10-15-30-45 minutes nothing.
I was wondering if there was a way I could download a new jellybean file on a SD card, and somehow install over with that?
Could really use the help and need it explained to me like im 2 ..
Really sorry to have to ask guys. Save me!
It's a very well discussed issue here and in the teameos thread.
Did you do a full cache, dalvik, system and factory reset of the device through recovery?
Which recovery are you using? (you probably need a newer one)
If you can still boot in recovery (you should) then wipe cache, dalvik, system, do a factory reset (does not wipe sdcard but you will lose all other data) and finally reflash the rom.
If you can't boot in recovery for whatever reason, you can use easyflasher to go back to stock then start over. Frederuco made an awesome post detailing the entire procedure on transformerforums.

Brand new Nexus 5 DOA

The the device came in today and when I turn it on The Google logo comes, turns off and restarts for a boot loop. I even did a full restore using the recovery toolkit like swoggers and even then no luck. I was able to install twrp with no issue. Anyone have the same issue ?
Thanks

I had problems AFTER I installed TWRP, but before that it booted just fine.
My problems started after unlocking the bootloader and installing TWRP. Try wiping as much as possible (except System) with TWRP. I read somewhere it's a problem with the cache partition. I also went into "Mount" in TWRP (I think that's what it's called) and mounted System. I'm telling you all this from memory, not sure exactly how I fixed it, but eventually I was able to turn the phone on.
Hopefully this is the reason you're having problems. It'd be frustrating to have to try and get another one from the Goog.

Bootloop - Can access Recovery

Hey everyone,
So earlier this evening I attempted to flash a new ROM to my Transformer. Unfortunately, something went wonky during the Factory Reset and it froze for about an hour. Not knowing what else to do, I ended up resetting the tablet and booting back into Recovery.
Long story short, I currently have TWRP v2.6.3.2 installed and accessible. Unfortunately I am unable to boot into any ROM I flash. I am able to go through the setup process just fine (have tried CROMi-X 5.4 and CROMi-X 5.2.3), but once the tablet restarts after installing, I am stuck at a boot loop on the ASUS splash screen. Did I inadvertently delete some system files that aren't replaced with a new ROM?
I'm out of ideas at this point and am hoping someone out there can help guide me in the right direction. My current plan is to try reverting to the stock Android provided by ASUS on their website (4.2.1). I really appreciate any advice/help anyone can provide, and thank you in advance!
If you want to know what the problem is, get a logcat. If you just want to fix it, do another Factory Reset. If that doesn't work, run "Format Data" in TWRP (this may take 1-2 hours). Note that this will delete all your user data on the tablet.

Thank you so so much for your help _that. I had no luck after doing another Factory Reset, but a second run through TWRP's "Format Data" worked like a charm. Kudos to XDA for being the savior of my sanity!

Problem with BlissPop: Stuck at "BlissPop is starting..."

Hello to everyone, posting this here as I don't have access to ask in the forum post for BlissPop - I.E fresh user
I'm having issues with my "recalled" shield tablet (wifi), I had it flashed to BlissPop successfully previously but when I tried reflashing it the other day I was met with a major roadbump: It just won't load the ROM.
The tablet freezes at the screen following the installing and optimization of each application - basically my screen is stuck at a small wall of text saying the following:
"BlissPop is starting...
Powered by Team Bliss
Starting apps.
Please wait for the optimization process to finish."
And before you ask, yes I have waited long enough (left it on through the night just to be sure - this thing won't load).
My procedure is as follows.
Bootloader is CWM and it is rooted beforehand.
1st off going into recovery mode.
#2 Wipe data/cache/dalvik cache - done
#3 Installed BlissPop via sideload, then gapps_pico afterwards (I've tried wiping cache+dalvik before installing gapps to no help.)
#4 Rebooting from CWM, here I've tried both allowing and denying CWM to "fix" root settings.
I've tried the first ROM I installed (when wifi/lte versions were available) and the newer releases - same problem with both.
After this I am met with this screen that won't budge, anyone got a possible solution to this issue?
Hey I just received my replacement tablet and was going through this process too. I did some digging around and found / remembered that having an external SD card socketed can cause this problem. So I powered my device off, removed the card and then rebooted without major issue.
Hope this helps.
I don't have any SD card in my tablet though, thanks anyways.
Did you format system?
If not then do format system/data/cache

Tried doing a format of system as well as data/cache/dalvik, still getting same result :/
Not sure its still helpful or not...i saw the xda thread regarding to this thread and whoever tried to flash the last zip got stuck at boot. So I'm guessing if you will flash a different one (by this time maybe they upload a new one) maybe you could get rid of it..

When I switched to BlissPop I had to format /data because TWRP was unable to wipe it. TWRP offers that option unter "advanced wipe". Might be the same with CWM.
any help my phone stuck on this boot loop and i dont know what to do now , any fix ? i dont wanna have broken phone i did everything that u guys said nothing works

[SOLVED] Constant reboot, need urgent help!

Hey guys,
I have encountered a serious problem on my device. Today I rebooted my phone once and it has just stuck on the samsung logo. Then the phone began to reboot without ending....It could not just start. With the help of TWRP I have made a full wipe and tried to reinstall my actual firmware Superman 1.10.5, but I always stuck at 25%, the phone did not respond to any actions. I even tried to flash the stock 4-file firmware with Odin, but it did not help, the phone constantly reboots. Sometimes it manages to boot to the stage where the sign "installation of applications" appears, but a while later it stucks again and reboots. Please, help me to solve the issue, because I am begininng to think that it would be unpossible to recover the phone. I am only able to enter the download mode or recovery, anything else does not work.
Thanks....

Really sad to hear that story mate. First things first, I assume your BL version is matching with the firmware your flashing right. And when you go to TWRP, can you see /system and /data partition from the mount menu? If not, you have to perform a factory reset. I had issue like that with my Galaxy S7 and usually factory reset(not wiping) helped me with that situation. Since your system can boot up, but crashes after awhile, I do suspect that some of your partition might be corrupted(at least its what happened to me). So trying factory reset can be a good bet for you.
And... I think you have to provide more information with which variant you are using, and your BL version, TWRP version too, solve the problem quicker. Hope this information helps.

Yep, you are right, BL versions always matched firmwares. I tried to wipe the phone with TWRP 3.0.2.3 and also to make a factory reset with the stock recovery. The stock firmware, which I tried to flash, was G930FXXU1BPH6_G930FOXE1BPH1_SER consisting of 4 files including BL,AP,CP and CSC. After 3rd or 4th flash of the same stock firmware the phone suddenly became alive and began to boot. Wu-huuu:silly: I was happy as a child. After having successfully launched the stock rom I have again flashed TWRP 3.0.2.3, went to "wipe" option and formatted data. Then I have installed a Superman Rom 1.12 and everything went the right way. I don't understand only one thing: why after having wiped the phone several times and having reseted it through the stock as well as TWRP recovery it didn't want to boot.
As you said, I suppose that the one of partitions was corrupted. Oh damn, I thought that I won't be able to resuscitate this phone.
I have flashed about 20 phones during my life, but I have never ever encountered such serious problems.
