Can't change font? (Crash)

Hello,
I got a One XL(Asia version), when i tired to change the default font on it, my phone won't work again.
I am just changing:
/system/fonts/DroidSans-Bold.ttf
/system/fonts/DroidSansFallback.ttf
My device are rooted, after replacing the file and doing backup, i tired to reboot, and the phone won't boot up again, it stuck on the "htc logo", adb still work, but the problem still exists when i copy the backup-ed file back to /system/fonts (via ADB), still, i can't get into the system.

This error keep raising, it seems that the system server died(?)
The only way to recover is flash my phone using RUU
Any solutions? I tired three time, and the error are SAME(lol i flashed my phone 3 times and i lost all apps and data..)

[Q][GT-I9505][AOSP] stuck on android boot logo

I've compiled and flashed my SGS4 with the sources from: https://github.com/AOSP-S4/aosp_manifest
Found from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397511
The compilation was successful but i get stuck on the boot logo (/data /cache /dalvik wiped using cwm).

[Completed] RILD crash while Integrating ZTE 3G modem for Custom board with Android

Hello all,
We have ported Android 4.4 (kitkat) version on a custom board with iMX6 processor and are successful in getting Android running on the custom board. Now, when tried to add support for 3G modem provided by ZTE, the rild daemon is crashing continuously there disabling the complete telephony.
Android service for rild in init.rc file is as below

The sockets are getting created with the specified permissions as specified in the init.rc but unfortunately rild daemon is crashing throwing segmentation fault (SIGSEGV). The core dump of the crash

libc.so is not getting loaded but libc.so and libreference-ril-mw3820.so are all available in the system/lib folder. and the contents of system.prop is
rild.libpath=/system/lib/libreference-ril-mw3820.so
rild.libargs=-d /dev/ttyUSB2
but still the above crash persists. Any help on this would be of great help.

[BUG] crash when viewing file list

crashes when viewing the file list, my best guess off the cuff is it is related to thumbnail generation (i saw options to clear, but not disable thumbnails).
if i use a different file explorer to select the file (and invoke mx player as the action), it plays just fine.

also tried switching to custom codec to see if i could sidestep the crash that way, no change (are thumbnails always generated with the system decoder?)

crashes when viewing the file list, my best guess off the cuff is it is related to thumbnail generation (i saw options to clear, but not disable thumbnails).
if i use a different file explorer to select the file (and invoke mx player as the action), it plays just fine.

also tried switching to custom codec to see if i could sidestep the crash that way, no change (are thumbnails always generated with the system decoder?)

which version of the player?
kindly provide more details.
if it possible collect the logs immediately after crash through inbuilt options (Help >> Bug Report) or through mx log collector app. So that we can get more info about your device hardware & software informations.

app crashes before i can use any in-app bug report. so i'll try for the 'mx log collector'.

Considering that you can't collect an error log either, I wonder if the issue is permissions in general... I assume you didn't have a problem with MX before on this device.

yes everything did work with mx on this device before (didn't check the version number previous to update, but it was a while ago last i took it...)
