Hello,
I have recently unlocked my device Galaxy S7 T-Mobile G930T to use it overseas but i got a No Signal issue. I have tired all found solutions, such as "Reset Network Settings or wifi calling config and many other solutions" but I have not tired yet rewriting QCN file from a other working GS7 TMB device.
do not ask me how i did unlock the phone because i have paid 100$ on ebay and unlocked remotely but they did not fixed network issue and not refunded, because phone is really unlocked and according to the person who did this is my problem.
so my question is please can somebody Read QCN form their device and send me the file to flash to my device? I have found too many forums that the solution was QCN file but there was for other models and i have not found the file on internet for GS7
dont worry about personal data, such as imei and SN, because these data are stored to EFS directory and QCN will not include these type of data.
thanks

Hello guys!
Recently i unlock my Galaxy S using the Galaxy_S Unlock app from the market (i've read a thread about it here).
And i've been using my phone with Personal Argentina (a carrier from Argentina) for a few days now, but today i start getting the Phone not allowed MM#6 error.
I bought the phone in Canada, and it was locked for Rogers.
I have a few questions :
is this IMEI related?, i think that the unlock method does something to the IMEI, and i tried to restore the backup that i've created with the app, but it says that there's nothing to restore..
There is any known solutions?, i've been searching the forums but no one seems to know how to fix this issue.
I've also bought the DaGentooBoy App for unlocking the Phone (it was about 5 dollars), but it doesn't fix my problem.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT :
I just read this :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=863209
where should i post this question?
Omg this forum moves so fast, i'm at 3rd page already.
I'll up this thread one more time to see if anyone can help me.
I've done some attemps using this thread :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=881162
Before doing that i flash back to 2.1 stock using Odin, and after those steps i got this generic IMEI :
004999010640000
That;s not my Phone's IMEI, and it's blocked by the Carriers in Argentina, so i can't use my phone.
Any ideas?, maybe some keyword that i can search on Google?
Thanks!
I'm in Bolivia. I have a samsung galaxy s, I unlocked with SUperOneClick (for rooting) and sgs tool to unlock it. Then after using a local carrier for about two weeks my phone got the mm#6 error. I was looking for solutions, and then my brother realized that I have to register the phone with the line (IMEI with line). Here in Bolivia exists a law that block phones if they are not registered at someones name and Id. So with nothing to lose, I called assitance of the carrier and register the IMEI I found in the Android menu (About phone>status>IMEI) with the GSM chip/line I have. Wait for 20 minutes and voilá! phone got signal and it's working now. I hope still working from now and on. SO IF YOU HAVE THIS TROUBLE CALL YOUR CARRIER AND REGISTER YOUR PHONE'S IMEI WITH THE LINE YOU ARE USING, IT'S SIMPLE. YOU CAN TRY THAT BEFORE GETTING INTO SOFTWARE STUFF.
HOPE THIS HELP SOMEBODY.
GOOD LUCK!
HI GUYS...
I UNLOCKED MY SAMSUNG GALAXY INFUSE AS USUAL, AND ITS OK "UNLOCKED"...
BUT WHEN I INSERT MY SIM CARD IT WORKED FOR FEW MINUTES, AFTER THAT IT SAYS NO SERVICE AND THERE IS NO SIGNAL AT ALL... BUT SOMETIME I GOT SIGNALS BUT WITHOUT REGISTERED NETWORK.
NOTE:
MABY THE PROBLEM FROM THE IMEI NUMBER, BECAUSE I GOT IT WRONG , IT IS LIKE IN THE ATTACHMENT.
PLEASE GUYS HELP ME ....
Yep, a borked imei number will not allow you to connect to your cellular network...
I'm guessing that your efs folder wasn't backed up... you can try this...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=881162
I haven't tried this but good luck.
thank you brassguy...
but does this work for infuse 4G ?
In addition, I read that we can change the IMEI number using the ADB, or is there another way to do this?
Also, what about the GSII_repair app, can I use it for my phone (infuse 4G)?
i had this problem last night where i flashed a rom. i return it to stock and imei showed up.
was having a imei" unknown error" and i backed up now on my computer.
ps ebay sales unlock service for 0.99$ if you didn't buy the code and just hacked it with hex or whatever
mine is already unlocked and it's permanent
i do travel over seas alot
But i returned mine to stock many times but the imei number still like this.

No one have ever faced or seen this problem with someone and solved??
Greetings, sharing here my particular problem from top to bottom just to take advice in general.
First of all, I live in Cuba, so my one and only network is Cubacel which runs GSM 900 mhz, so far so good with most phones.
I am between phones so I boorrowed this used J100h from a friend, which received it as a gift and has never been used. I performed a hard reset to wipe password, data, etc. Phone boots ok but no calls with cuban SIM.
The curious thing is that it does recognizes Cubacel network, it evens shows the changes on signal intensity. Bu when I try to manually add it, it finds and displays the network by its name, but reports an error when trying to register.
After 3 days of internet search I´ve narrowed to the following: I suspect the phone was unlocked or flashed previously, there is no network promo when turning on the phone but there is chinese rooting software installed and the cell is, or seems via root checker, rooted. Thought an extra /01 after the IMEI was a sign of corruption until I leraned about IMEI SV. Anyway, following this thought installed busybox and root explorer, checked efs folder, finding subfolders such as imei, factory app, etc, BUT NO .NV file. inside imei folder ther is a imeino1 file with the correct imei, but no .nv file outside. Is this fixable?? GSII repair doesnt work because seems theres is an error with the busy box install, what gives me doubts if the phone is really rooted, and if i need to be online to install busybox properly.
So, If I decide to try and flash stock rom and see if this fixes the problem here is my main doubt, which may seem obvious for some but i simply can figure out. Which stock rom version do I choose? the product code of the cell is ITV, and the bootloader also points to the italian version but the currently installed rom ends in AOG2, seemingly a greek version. I live in Cuba and everywhere I look people say that since the telephone is sim free you can install any rom, but the is no "any" or standard rom either in samsung firware o sammobile. Do I flash the same rom? do I flash the one matching the bootloader? Which stock rom version should I choose?
Very much appreciated if you have gone so far in this reading and have some piece of advice. Also excuse terrible English.
Hi !
I see plenty of firmwares on samsung website so pick one and see how it works , it doesn`t matter the region , you won`t damage anything , maybe the modifications that has been made on the device borked the network , clean stock firmware flash may resurrect it and try the one which matches the bootloader
You may have a look here as well https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/rom-gennxt-prerooted-stock-t3126368
Good luck !
I have a Cricket branded galaxy s6 on the Cricket network and I was having some issues with the fingerprint reader which led to an eventual factory reset after trying many other things and of course I forgot to turn off reactivation lock beforehand. When booting back up I realized my Samsung account wouldn't sync up and I realized what I had done and after trying numerous things to fix that problem it led to me flashing the firmware for my phone and of course I didn't make a copy of the efs folder. So now my phone cannot connect to any network because the IMEI number is showing as unknown and so is the sim card status. So my question is... Is there anything I can do now to regain network connectivity?
If you are rooted you may restore nv_data.bak and nv_core.bak, that may get your IMEI back, if not, you can purchase a new and clean CERT file to get a new authentic IMEI back.
Would the phone have to have been rooted before deleting the IMEI number? I still have the original IMEI number written down as well
Hi everyone!
I have a Note 20 Ultra (N985F) Exynos variant.
My mom bought it for me without knowing it is a live demo unit. When she bought the phone it was working (network and data) but it was on Android 10. I started getting suspicions when i tried to update and it said "failed to register". I wanted to check the imei codes on the back and there's when i found out it is a LDU. I flashed Dr.Ketan's Android 11 ROM and i lost all network functions and when i try to search for network it says "Error while searching for network" so i flashed a stock Android 11 firmware from SamMobile but the issue still persists. I think i f****d up the EFS, don't know yet. I didn't have the mobile data toggle in the quick settings panel but after deleting the files in the EFS folder it got back. I have a little clue of what's happening here but i don't know how to solve it. When dialing *#0011# the imei status is "NG". Don't know if Chimera tool or Z3X will solve it by payching imei certificate (i don't have a license for those programs so that's why i'm asking before buying one). Will flashing pit file solve my problem? Will flashing a combination rom fix the issue? If not, how can i solve it? (P.S: wifi calling works, but i don't have any other type of cellular network)
Mate, the Nore 20 ultra is model number SM-N986B. The fact yours is 965 is the reason you aren't getting updates...
Unfortunately, short of unlocking bootloader (and even that is not assured), you can't just flash to a normal stock rom.
Never mind, i got it fixed by @hainguyenthao. I was skeptical at first but he really helped me. Kudos to you mate!
I have a network issue G780F please @hainguyenthao
