Hello I want to put a 32gb micro sd card in my phone and have saw some cheap ones on ebay. I know that the sd cards come in different classes and I just wanted to know will this affect the phone performance if I put a low class cheap one in instead of a expensive sandisk one. Thanks in advance for your answer
I was looking at the specs and I saw it supports microsd and sd card? Im confused. Which one it uses? Thank you
micro-sd
Do like I did and buy a cheap uSD 2gb with SD adapter then any future uSD you buy you can just stick in there if you ever need to use it on your PC or laptop.
I am curious, since the 512gb micro sdxc cards are not available on the market yet, if there is a case manufacturer that is making a case with a OTG micro sdxc card reader built into the case? The one that comes to mind for the Galaxy S6 is the Offgrid by Incipio.
Here is the link to the article about this case, going to the company's website shows a new version of the Offgrid case with the micro sdxc card slot missing. .

I am looking for a case like this for the Note 7 so I can have the 64gb internal memory, 256gb in the card slot and then 256 loaded on the phone through the OTG connection without an adaptor sticking out the bottom of the phone.
I can't imagine that they'll make such a case. The S6 lacked a micro SD card slot, so there was a natural market. The market for folks who need 2 cards slots may be limited... to just you.

I would agree with rcobourn. Maybe this would have some appeal to people wanting dual sim and loosing sd card slot in the process, but for most over 300 GB of storage on the phone is good enough.
Okay so I'm hoping someone can answer this for me, but I might be purchasing an older tablet which features a normal SD Card slot instead of a Micro SD, but SD Cards are just to expensive for me right now in the sizes I need.
So I was wondering, I did a search for dual micro sd card adapters, hoping to find a normal sd card adapter that can fit two micro sd cards, and all I found were memory stick pro duo adapters that can fit two micro's.
But this just makes no sense, there are so many of those, yet I can't find one of what I'm actually looking for. Anyone know of one?
Anyone have any idea if this might work with the Samsung Note 9?

Everything I've read says you can add up to a 512GB SD card. What isn't clear, is that because that's the max size it will accept, or is that because at the time 512GB was the biggest SD card available.

I don't think that will fit in the Note 9 ?
Is there a Micro SD 1TB card also?

Wow! I was so happy thinking I could use this card that I didn't notice the physical size. Sorry.

You just have to fold it really small.

Just did a quick Google Search. Granted that you didn't see the fact that the page only mentions a "SD Card" and not a "Micro SD Card", I did see this video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gv2j0KIzLLw
So, it looks like it IS a reality, yet this was dated back in Sept 20118. So it's just a matter of when it'll be released. But, it was probably inevitable, anyways.
Keep in mind, I didn't watch the whole video, just paused it when I saw the 1TB MicroSD Card on the screen at 0:07.
Dfwfreaks .. BS
I've always wondered what the problem could be with supporting more storage via sd cards. I mean it is just more storage after all, right? Like if you put a 2TB flash drive in your old PC which was made when the max was 512GB, it should still work fine lol

I'm no expert....
With that said, I'd say it'll work.
The same scenario has played out the same on past phones, exceeding the stated spec when the phone was released.
The 1TB Micro SD Card wasn't on the market when the Note 9 was released, 512 GB Cards were tops at the time, so, I'm guessing that's why 512 GB is the stated maximum external storage capacity.
I understand the hesitation on buying a 1TB Card w/o 100% certainty, as the current pricing on the cards from SanDisk & Lexar are north of $400.
There is a possibility that the Note 9 might support the use of a 1TB microSDCard. As when the Note 9 was release it was said to be able to support microSDCard up to 2TB.
@Arobase40 I didn't know there is a 1TB micro sd card other than Lexar wtf :d
