I got xposed and installed g3 tweakbox 2.2, enable the hidden launcher menu, but any changes I make go back to default as soon as I back out. Reboots don't help.
I'm on a marshmallow stock based Rom.
I don't want to use an app that's always in the notification bar.
If there's no other way, I'll use nova launcher. Thanks

Hey. I will like to request an app that is like go locker lockscreen unlock but im on touchwiz. i tried installing go locker but cant as it need go launcher. does anyone have any ideas on how to do it? and 1 more thing, anyone knows how to make like the reboot, recovery and download mode shortcut when we long press our power button? thanks
anyone?
As far as i know you cannot use Go apps without the launcher and if you need lockscreen app than i am sure Widget locker is the best one and for your other request that feature comes with mostly custom ROM's but i am sure if you search the forum you should be able to find a MOD for it.
Try searching as "Power menu mod" and yes you need a rooted phone to install those mods.
Hi there guys,
i have a big problem with my OPO.
First, i explain what i did: I'm using my OPO also in my car, so i set up a home launcher that's "car friendly" (big buttons, big clock, car logo, and so on). To activate this Launcher i use Tasker with root permissions. There's a Tasker-Task-Shortcut on my normal Homescreen, and when i press it, some things are switched off/on (for example GPS is switched on and the brightness is set to high). Also i switch the two Launcher (Default and Nova Launcher) by setting the Package State of the Default one to disabled and the Nova Launcher to enabled. If i want to go back to normal mode i press the Tasker-Task-Shortcut on Nova-Launcher which reverts all settings, including chaning the package states of the launchers again. This worked for years now, but today i activated the car mode and Tasker asked for root permissions. I thought SuperSu made an Update so i need to accept it again, so i gave Tasker root access. After that the Default Launcher was disabled, but the Nova-Launcher wasn't enabled. Then there was an empty screen, i only saw the top Notification Bar and the Soft Buttons (It was possible to use both), but no Launcher was loaded. So i restartet my OPO and now i'm stuck in a Bootloop...
Can someone help me please?? I think a factory reset will fix this, but i dont want to lose all of my apps and settings! What can i do? Is it possible to change the package state trough Fastboot, or through TWRP? Fastboot and the Stock Recovery is working fine, only if i want to start my OPO normally i get a bootloop... Maybe it's possible to install another Launcher via TWRP?
Please help me!!
Greetings,

Install another launcher via desktop play store then when click home button it ask for new launcher
You mean i going to play.google.com, search for another Launcher, press install, and select my OPO? If yes, that wont work, because i cant start my OPO (stuck in boot). So the OPO Play Store cant install that launcher. The only way i can think of is to install an alternate launcher through recovery.
EDIT:
Update, i used TWRP to clear the cache and dalvik_cache and now my phone is starting. Then after the "Configuring Apps" screen it's now stuck on "Starting Apps...".
Phew... fixed it myself... to anyone with the same Problem, here's what i did:
Search for a flashable zip of an alternate Home Launcher, for exmaple "APEX Launcher". Then go to fastboot mode and startup TWRP (i used OPO Toolkit). In TWRP, activate MTP and push the flashable zip to your phone. Then install it trough TWRP and clear cache and dalvik. After that restart your phone and the new Launcher should start. From now on you can switch to your default Launcher again.
Greetings
I'm trying to get the Trebuchet launcher from CM 10.2 to work in CM11. I installed it and use it fine, however I can only enter the launcher settings once. I try to go to Settings/Home and then tap on the settings bar on the bottom of the screen, but Settings keeps crashing. Any ideas on how to fix it? I really don't like the CM11 Trebuchet. I tried to get CM9 Treb and CM10 on it but it doesn't work. It installs and then FC's. I am using HTC myTocuh 4G Slide with 4.4.4 ION rom.
Hey all I have a FIIO X5 III, that has an mode option whats called "pure android mode" which requires the stock launcher. I dislike the stock launcher and want to use Nova or Apex. The option to change default launchers has been disabled in the stock rom settings. The stock rom is 5.1.1 based, and I have already rooted the device.
Can someone help lead me to the proper settings inside the rom xml files, or in build properties etc., that would allow me to force replace the stock launcher. I am so stumped after trying everything so far. Since its 5.1.1 I was hoping someone has a lost historic tweak that I could use.
The rom has already been deodoxed, but when I just try and replace the stock rom (rename to launcher.bak), with Nova or Apex (renamed to launcher, and fix permissions with root explorer), it just FC's repeatedly.
Thanks
I can post the full rom is someone needs that as reference
Hello, I uninstalled POCO launcher through ADB, now my recent button isn't working. Reinstalling it fixed the issue
earlier, but is there a workaround to fix this? Without installing the launcher? Currently using Nova launcher.
The default POCO launcher freezes(6-7secs) with no icons but wallpaper when returning from other apps(not always but it's irritating). So I want to kick this rusty nut out completely.
Did you try to deactivate the poco launcher insteat of uninstalling?
How to deactivate? You mean? Disable?
Thought it should be: Settings=> Apps=> "Poco Launcher" => deactivate, i'm running AICP, so i can not tell you the exact way, but with AICP you can deactivate (because the launcher is a System App, System Apps are diffcult to uninstall, only with root ) AICP Launcher, and this should be able with stock, too

Click to collapse
No such option, even in app info.
