how are you trying to root? please specify your process and ill let you know if you missed anything.

wait, youre running lineage OS and youre saying that you dont have root?
i have a oneplus one model a001 and when either i try to install cm 13 or any other rom on my device it keeps disconnecting from the internet the only rom that will work is cm 12.1 and i want to be on nougat can some body please help me

Please elaborate your issue? Were you using WiFi or mobile data?
Wifi keep disconnecting and reconnecting every few minutes ! i had the same problem with other 7.0+ Roms , please help any fix for that?. and there was no problem in cm 12 or 5.0 based roms.

I used Lineageos, Identity Crisis stock marshmallow ROM, AOSP Extended ROM, Pure Nexus ROM and Mainstage OS ROM None of them have WiFi issue.
Always use latest ROM (Clean Flash)
Right now I'm using LineageOS (20170801 build)
Have tries several 7+ rom but same problems

I also do clean flash, but having wifi issues have tried nexus pure rom 14 ,cm 14, aosp 14 ,now lineage 14.1 all having same wifi problem disconnects every few mins and reconnects ! any solution would be helpful ?

Cyanogenmod closed down, so CM11 is dead and there are no official links anymore. LineageOS only revived 13+
If you need cm/lineage 11 http://andi34.github.io/roms_tab2_lineage.html
But make sure using a compatible recovery to flash unified ROMs.
Lineage 16.0 is out and we don't even have the 15. Is there any possibility of someone making an updated rom with pie or oreo?

the new roms released by dotOS will be fixed the bugs and we will have at least the oreo

I found this los 15.0 rom for Kylepro but I don't know if it's stable, I can't install it with twrp (Error 4)

quited it for a year as my phone battery lost and no interested in
I just bought one last month and got my interest back so if someone can work with me for a new oreo project ( old project on pc and old build deleted )
is it possible to have line 16 for this device?

THis installed and boots but
no wifi,bluhooth,sim
