Excuse my excitement. Should be getting my GS6 in a week. Was looking for stock CM. Was surprised to find there isn't one. The GS5 had one.

It's all Samsung's doing, bro. :good:
Samsung never fully released the complete source code of their proprietary Exyenos cpu's, which are damn good btw, unlike Qualcomm with their Snapdragons, which are open-sourced and the same you had in your S5 (which had CM)
The S6 took the honour of being the most powerful phone of 2015! Highly subjective, I know, but true according to a lot of benchmarking sites on the net.
CM ain't all that either imo. Much prefer all the features of Samsung stock rom over CM anyway. Promised myself I'd stay away from Exyenos cpu's (since I got S4 with one & CM sucked on it) but couldn't resist the temptation of getting S6 since the prices had fallen now big time. The hardware is A for Away!
Take the S6 bro - it's a good device & don't stress about CM. Apparently there are some development for S6 ongoing, but I wouldn't get my hopes up if I was you. It won't ever be perfect. Ever.

Why ? The S6 is one of the best phones ever made , i just bought one 3 weeks ago and i already forgot "root" and "custom roms". Samsung have my respect now , they did an awesome job.

Because the 6p has almost as many issues as the note7 at this point? That's the worst recommendation for a device trade in overall.
To be honest I'm very interested to see where OnePlus, HTC, LG & Moto will be taking their devices with the next roll out.

The hell, why you put Honor 8 and Oneplus 3T with S7 Edge ? If you want performance and good gpu, i would say Oneplus 3T, if you want design, Honor 8. If you want to look rich but have no ideea how good are other smartphones that cost half the price of an S7 Edge, go get it. I would buy a Oneplus 3T too,but i'm not going to way 2 month until they deliver it and i'm not going to pay 500+ euros in other stores for a 64gb Oneplus 3T. Tomorrow i'm going to get the Honor 8,it's more than enough for me and i consider myself a person who really want something good from a smartphone. It's your choice.

Start was clear. But by the ending I'm confused. Hope the questioner has got his answer.
From my point of view,
1. To show off your money - Go for S7 Edge
2. To show off a good color get the good camera - Go for Honor 8
3. To get the good performance - Go for OP3T.
I have seen that OP3T lags during some of the games which is unexpected. Hope so OTA fixes it soon.

If you want some good development, OP3T is the best choice. But if you are not for rooting and custom ROMs, you can decide that for yourself.
i can recomended u to use S7 really . i dont like samsung but i really tried it 2 days ago and i like it . tomorrow i can confirm if honor 8 better or not cause honor 8 will arrive tomorrow evening ! .

They should still refund if you return phone it might say in ebay policies

Only buy it if it's cheap
It is fast, smooth, has a great battery life, good camera and absolutely great design.
If is cheap from where you want to buy (around 250$) then go for it.
If it was below $ 250 , don't leave the deal just go for it.
After having the last 3 models of the Moto G, I absolutely love the Honor 8. It's a good size, it's fast, has a good camera, and plenty of ram.
There's a deal on it at 250$ (saw it on android police)

The OPO is getting old now, I've had my 3years worth and loved it despite the issues I've faced!
However it's time to upgrade (new job, more money )
I'm in the mix between ;
Pixel 1 XL - £400 (Really like this phone, although the age is putting me off SLIGHTLY due to not going to get many official updates)
Pixel 2 - £630 (Quite a bit expensive, will leave me quite skint but possibly worth it; I want this device the most)
LG G6 - £400ish? £500 with a floating LG speaker (I REALLY like this device, especially for the money but the skin and delay in updates will probably make me ill lol)
Oneplus 5 8GB ram - £450 (student discount) (obviously this looks like the no brainer but i KNOW the jelly effect will really get to me, in nearly every review of it on youtube i notice it when they scroll; no one can change my mind about this but I've added it to see if theres yet a fix for it? or is there going to be one? I havent seen anything about it?)

And these are the phones, can anybody steer me into the right way? I honestly cannot decide, and my mind hasnt been made so I'm not biased against any however I'm least keen about the OP5.

I wouldn't choose them sort of phones anyway mate due to the inconvenience such as; they'd be imported, wouldnt have good support if anything was to happen and the sites selling the xiaomis at least havent had the best reviews.
The phones i suggested i can buy in town without hesitation, even the Oneplus 5 due to being in the UK and o2 selling oneplus products
I just want something that works, is great all round and smooth. (and something i'm able to flaunt to ALL of my iPhone friends that claim Android is for 'tramps and emo geeks' hahah )

Well I was going to get the honor when it was just out as my dad asked if i wanted to get it off him and swap him for my opo with some money on top but the software is a big killer, possibly THEA worst android skin on a mainstream phone. The look, the feel and everything is clunky and pretty fairly disgusting.
I dont think theres any other phone on the market I'd have other than i've stated, I really like the Moto Z but I can't find it for sale in the UK (reasonably priced anyway), Also like Sony xperia phones but again, they're too expensive for what they are. The new HTC u11 is £600 so again, too expensive all considering.

i did say i want something that just works , ive spent TOO much of my time flashing with all the phones i've had purely because they were bad from factory, Oneplus One included with its shocking stock camera driver

So I was thinking about buying the LG V10 and uhh it seems like each complains it receives are all about the frigging bootloop!
So I was thinking its okay to buy this cell phone or not!?
Cause I literally got a deal for this in 170$!
So the question is am I buying a ticking time bomb or it'll be reliable for the next 1 year or so!?
I heard the 2016 or later production line up doesn't have the bootloop issue.
Not sure if that's true or not.

For 170 bucks for sure is a good buy, if you compare with 170$ mid range phones of today the V10 wins in almost every aspect: better camera, audio dac, excelent screen etc etc...
I own a V10 since July 2016 and until now is all fine, sure i do somethings to avoid bootloop and high temps because i dont do gaming or so and the phone is a beast.
If you use it for 1 year you are safe because i own mine for more than that time and mine is 03/2016 date of production and works flawless without any problem.
is on your hands. For 170$ new is a perfect deal, dont go to refurbished because is not the same deal so be careful.

if that HTC M9 was not refurbished then is better than V10 refurbished for sure...you will be much more happy with that.
