Hello!
After I had my tablet's touchscreen replaced, it seems to always detect touches in two places. The spoilered pic is a screenshot with Developer Options -> show touches enabled; one touch is near the middle of the right side of the screen, another on the top side. When I rotate the screen, the touch points rotate too. It only happened a few minutes after booting for the first time, but appears immediately again even if I reboot. I tried updating firmware, but nothing changed; the memory isn't full either.
The tablet's running Android JellyBean.
What could be the reason? Note that I'm not looking for a way to fix it as much as for an explanation why this happens.

Tried some android thingies today and got the following screen 2 or 3 times:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
When I press anything other than the send button, it just boots and everything seems fine.
But I really would like to know where this screen comes from? Is there something on the main memory or storage card where it does some checks?
I have the screen sometimes and I think it has something to do with the boot time. So I think the message is kind of engaged and fires only if something doesn't happen in a specific period. In my case I suspect the amount of PIM data might slow the boot time because I never delete and never move the stuff to an archive
I dissambled my HTC Evo 3D because my display is not working correctly,the screen goes black randomly and if I press hard the left corner where is the home soft button the screen is working again.The trouble is with the conector between the motherboard and LCD diplay.I don't know how to reach this because my touchscreen is work perfectly and i don't want to remove it and melt the glue.is other way to reach it from the other side?.my question is how to fix it,I need a new display or I can change only the conector?

the contact problem is where the conector connects to the diplay

I have a Note 2 (i605) and I'm connecting an external touchscreen via bluetooth to control the phone.
My problem is that no matter where I touch on the external screen, the mouse pointer will only access the left 75% of the screen. The mouse pointer is completely accurate anywhere that I touch within that 75%, but when I hit the boundary, the cursor stays at that margin. The phone's touchscreen is 100% functional, just the external portion is the issue.
I'm wondering if this is a bluetooth limitation? Or if anyone knows of a fix? I've tried several different ROMs with stock and modified kernels, but the result is the same. Here is a pic to kind of explain whats going on. Thanks.

Ever since I installed factory image on my N5, if my screen is already ON when I am receiving a call, I get the following screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
If I use the buttons at the top, it works just fine. But if I slide to the right (green) to answer the call, it does nothing. Also, I find this to be a bit buggy because the bottom part of screen covers the app that is already open. I thought the whole point of heads-up incoming call notification was so that current app isn't blocked by call screen.
Is this a common occurrence? Or is just mine an odd case?
Hi all,
I have a rooted Homtom HT7 with stock rom and TWRP. It has worked well for more than 1 year but suddenly the touch screen has this strange behavior.

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
In this image, I was sliding my finger from left to the right and point goes way off from where i was touching.
I don't think the screen is broken because when I boot into TWRP the screen works well. Factory reset also fix this issue but only for a few days.
This happens without any clear reason. Sometimes I'm using the phone and it happens then after some time (or days) the touch is normal again then the issue comes back again.
Any suggestions?
