In the past BubbleUPnP was able to see an OpenHome Player from OpenHome in my network. Actually the player is not visible anymore. Even the BubbleUPnP server doesn't see the player. Has anybody an idea?

Which media player are you using?
Hi All,
There is a website that my wife watches videos on and it streams it's videos thru winamp or vlc player, is there a way to stream these movies on the Gtab. I'm using TnT Lite 2.4. I have the winamp app installed but not sure if it works for streaming videos.
Thanks,
Ho'okani
Hi, as I am using plex and mx player to watch movies it would be nice to see mx player integration into plex. The plex player will never be as good as mx player but it lacks the integration features mainly the marked as watched and resume at last position feature. Would be nice to be able to use mx player just as convenient as the plex player.
Do you mean having online content as plex does? If it is that, mx player is good enough now as it is.
Please be more specific
No, i mean just some data exchange between plex and mx player about the playing position and watched status. Means if you resume a movie from plex mx player continuous at last position and afterwards tells plex up to which position the movie has been watched, so plex can mark the movie as partly or completely watched. The plex player does this but has too many other restrictions. Should be no rocket science, but depends on the openness of the plex interface.

Are you referring to Plex Server? As in, you would like to see some sort of communication between MX Player and Plex Server when MX Player plays a stream from Plex Server?
If that's what you are looknig for, then this might be a question for the Plex developers. MX Player has an API, maybe they can work with it. https://sites.google.com/site/mxvpen/api
Hi
This thing has been bugging me for a while, and just now I decided to gather enough info to be able to describe the issue properly.
The effect of the issue is that all the media i play back from my Serviio DLNA server on MX Player on my Android TV is named "ORIGINAL" as far as MX Player is considered — at least with regards to subtitles. If I pause playback, the top left corner will display the actual filename, e.g. "My Cool Video.mkv," but MX Player will suggest "ORIGINAL" as title when searching for online subtitles. I then have to manually correct the title to whatever the correct one is, and search for it. It will then download those subtitles as "ORIGINAL.srt," and play them back correctly.
However, as the next video that I play back is also seen by MX Player as having the name "ORIGINAL," it'll load those same subtitles download before that now don't match and that's no fun. Fetching correct subtitles online will overwrite the previous subtitles, etc.
I suspected the issue might be with how Serviio presents the media files, and surely enough, I can see that DLNA URLs are all of the form http://192.168.7.100:8895/resource/40385/MEDIA_ITEM/MATROSKA-0/ORIGINAL.
But, clearly, MX Player has access to more information than this, seeing as how it displays the actual filename in its UI. Am I wrong in assuming this is a problem on MX Player's end?
BTW, this combo of UPnPlay and MX Player on Android TV is friggin' awesome. Beats Kodi every day, MX Player is fantastic!
Cheers,
Daniel
