Few months ago, I've unlocked my bootloader and switched to RR.
Then, I've decided to come back to stock, and I've installed EMUI 5 B360, then I've upgraded to B389.
I've just finished to update my phone to B394 (Official OTA), and now, when my phone boots, it says:
"You're device is unlocked and it can't be trusted"
What has happened?
The "allow bootloader unlock" is disabled under developer option, I am really confused

this is normal, when you unlock always say "You're device is unlocked and it can't be trusted"
is disabled and it's normal too, the problem not if it was disabled, the problem is if it was deactivated

But since this update I had not "bootloader unlocked" warning.
Because my bootloader was locked.
Now It is deactivated.

L09 isn't it? If u really want ur device to become full official with FRP lock u will have to rollback and do a FULL update to the latest firmware. Also u will have to disable OEM unlocking from the settings.

Yes l09.
But, I don't understand...
I've switched from RR to b360 and then to b389.
I hadn't this unlocked bootloader warning.
Why I have this warning after b394 update (received by updater app)? Why OEM unlock is deactivated?

You cannot lock or relocked bootloader from developer options, I think you are talking about allow oem unlocking which means you turn a setting on or off to allow the bootloader to be unlocked

If you are aiming for Android pay, locking the bootloader isn't the way to go. Just install magisk v10, not 11, with phhs superuser on stock or lineage. Then enable magisk hide from settings

It would be TWRP 3.0.3-beta 3 or something like that, also if you are already running a root, disable it, and flash magisk.zip, it will install superuser from there and you can install the phhs superuser manager form the play store

Do you mean that locking the bootloader won't allow Android pay to work? Or are you saying it's easier to just root and use the magisk to hide it?
I am asking, because I'm in the same boat as the OP. I switched to the dev version from at&t and don't need root or TWRP, so I'd be fine downgrading, locking and upgrading if that would get me Android pay again.

fastboot oem relock 1xxxxxxxxxxxxxx8 ( your code)
I have the US versin BLN_L24 but should work on other versions as well

You cant downgrade simply from Nougat to MM unless you have the rollback package for your model. It was there for L21 model but not sure on other models (recently they may have provided the rollback package for other models).
once you have the rolback package, use dload method for that file 1st and then for MM full package.

Have to agree. it was greyed out. Have now done the rollback sucessfully and i oem unlocking i switchable. I have run the phone for some days and it working well on mashmallows. I will now proceed with twrp, backup, root and upgrade to nougat. . Shall i leave OEM unlocking enabled then?
That answer was lightning fast, were you sitting just waiting for me to answer ??
Upgrade to nougat?
I have now unlocked bootloader. OEM unlocked Active, marshmallows, twrp and root. Everything works smooth and perfect When i upgraded to nougat the phone returned to locked bootloader again and (i think) locked OEM. So i had to do the whole process again . Is there any way to upgrade to nougat without getting locked bootloader and OEM? Or is there any nougat Rom thats works?

Yesterday my Honor 8 won't boot after I flashed the rollback package to MM. Now I'm totally stuck at the booting logo.
Things I can do:
Boot the phone (stays forever on the blue screen)
Boot into Fastboot to charge the phone
Things I can't do:
Any Fastboot command, instead of Fastboot devices
Get into recovery/erecovery
Can't force update (volume +, volume -, powerbutton)
Note: My bootloader and FRP are locked. Can't unlock them because all the commands are not allowed.
Could someone please help me out. I need suggestions on what to do next.
Did you flashed the MM package after flashing the rollback package?
Also you need to perform a full factory reset if it is stuck at the boot screen. Hold your power button + volume buttons to reboot the device to recovery2. Then perform a full factory reset.

Forgot to mention the steps:
1. Used the rollback package for FDR-L04 in honor site via force update (dload)
2. Downloaded a MM version for FDR-L14 that i found using Firmware Finder.
3. Tried to do the same with a full OTA with Nougat (also dowloaded from FirmwareFinder) and it failed at 5%
After that, the phone entered in boot loop.

I contacted Huawei support and they were 100% that the FDR-L04 rollback package would work in the FDR-L14 version. They also told me the 04 firmware would work as well but i didn't buy it. That's why i got the MM Full OTA using Firmware Finder.
The reason i was downgrading was that the wifi stopped working (toggle is greyed out) and i read somewhere in the forums that it could be solved by downgrading.
I wish i could return it but i can't.

I did tell them and they dont seem to care. It's really sad.
I think there is a way to recover it using DC-Phoenix, but im trying to avoid paying those 15 Euros at all costs
