Huawei Mate 8 blocked in recovery mode - Mate 8 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi!
I got a Huawei Mate 8 L29-C636B170.
I tried to update it to B211 with the firmware finder, using the proxy method. The download was complete and then the phone had to reboot. Once rebooted, the updating package began and crashed at 1%. Since that moment, i'm blocked in the two possible recovery mode: the eRecovery mode (with 3 options: download latest version and recovery, via wifi, crashes at 6%, reboot and shutdown) and the other recovery mode (reboot now, wipe data/factory reset (doesnt work, crashes at 6%) and wipe cache).
I can't even launch the fast boot by connecting the mobile to computer and pushing the down volume. That keeps boot on recovery mode.
I also tried to update via sd card and pushing the three buttons. Same problem, the only mode that can be launched is the recovery mode.
If you have any idea that can help me... Thanks !!

This is exactly the identical issue to what I currently have.
Did you find a solution?

Which kind of update method did you used? 3bts? Or FORCED UPDATE?
Have you tried to go into STOCK recovery (volume up+power button)? Is it working?
Have you downloaded and put in the DLOAD folder the CORRECT firmware for Ur phone?
Please double check and, in case, better to re-download it (be sure it is the correct one for TL-10).
Then try 3btns again.
If procedure works, it' s always a good thing to gointo stock recovery AFTER UPDATE proceure, and apply a full WIPE CACHE AND WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET.
Hello Tuddu .
I made a forced update .
The method of the three buttons does not work = more white screen LED flashing amber and green three times ( three cycles).
When I connect it to the charger , it is happening. I fear the worst .

Have you the stock recovery installed?
Does the recovery works (can you enter into recovery properly?). If not, you should try to re flash the stock recovery, of course if the HAM7 is recognised by Windows.
Differently, i fear, it could be an hardware problem...
Sent from my S5+ using XDA Free mobile app
The situation evolved !
I come now to start the phone mode " Fastboot & Rescuemode ." But then I do not know what to do.
Here you could if the bootloader is open, the respective imgs (boot, recovery cust, and system) or flash when closed, flashing with a Huawei HiSuite FW.
can I use fastboot to install : boot.img , recovery.img , system.img .
I extracted the .img from the firmware.
I would still flash the cust.img. Then fastboot reboot and hope it starts. The question is, what your battery still says.
If it does not start, then it is probably a case for the service.
I Flasher cust.img , boot.img , recovery.img , system.img . But it does not start. What can I do more for the mode " Fastboot and rescuemode " ?
You could still try the Huawei HiSuite. Furthermore you can flash a Stock Rom. Much more remains not.
Then I flash a ROMSTOCK using cmd fastboot
Only works with the HiSuite.

I also have the same problem. I wonder if you could help me out also. I've been having these problem for 3 weeks now. Here's the story. I was going to sell the phone to my friend, so I was unrooting and installing stock firmware on it. I downloaded the stock firmware from Huawei website. Flash the stock recovery extracted from the firmware update.app. Put the firmware in dload on a newly bought 8GB SanDisk, and forced update. The update failed saying that the update.app could not be found even tho it is under 'root of the sdcard'/dload/upload.app. So I flashed CWM and flash the repacked update.app using the Huawei Update Extractor. It was fine until I redo the forced update process. EMUI showed up half way and failed with the same reason, it could not find the update.app. I restart the phone and it is bricked.
Condition right now. BL is unlocked.
- Turn on normally: It flashes [Red Green Green Green] x 3 before turning off.
- Turn on with Vol+ + Power to get to the recovery: Same result as turning on normally.
- Turn on using 3BTNs: It shows "HUAWEI Ascend" logo and stays there for 48 hours. Then I figured it wasn't going to do anything.
- Turn on into bootloader with vol- + power works fine. I can get to the bootloader.
What I've done so far. Most are suggestion on XDA forum, somes are from other sources.
- fastboot flash boot, recovery, cust, userdata, and system of 3 different versions of firmware (MT7-TL10 for Global, Chinese, and MT7-TL09 Global). All firmwares are from Huawei website. None of them work.
- fastboot flash CWM recovery. Didn't work. I could not get to the recovery mode.
- fastboot flash many boot.img from custom roms hoping it would at least take me to the recovery. Didn't work.
- bought another micro sd card, which didn't matter since both cards work fine on other devices.
- Try using older version of Hi-Suite that has the restore function. This is the weird part. Hi-Suite would starts itself as soon as it detects the phone in bootloader mode, but it says "Phone is not connected." Unfortunately, this fails also.
I wish there were a way to force boot the phone into the recovery mode other than the button combos. What do you think I could do? I'll try anything. Thanks.
i have same problem too . anyone get working way ??????

After wipe data, keyboard missing on first load screen

Hello guys!
I'm using Honor 6 (H06-L04).
I had installed CWM recovery and in recovery mod I wiped data.
Then after rebooting, on first load screen where we have to select country and enter google account, keyboard is not showing.
So I am unable to enter my email and password and proceed.
I'm stuck here.
I can not even force upgrade to b374 (downloaded from hihonor).
After pressing 3 buttons, it takes me to CWM recovery.
Please help me.
1. boot into the fastboot mode
2. flash stock recovery with fastboot
3. force upgrade (3 buttons)

[Q] HP Pro Slate 12 - recovery mode and factory reset both disappeared!

Hi everyone,
I'm sorry if I post this question in a wrong section but there is no thread for my device on xda.
It seems like I ruined the recovery mode of my Android tablet. It's a HP Pro Slate 12 tablet with Android 5.1.1 on it. It's rooted. I wanted to install CWM Recovery to backup everything, but my device wasn't listed as a supported device. My friend told me I can install the LG G3 recovery instead because it's compatible. I installed that. Since then recovery mode completely disappeared. The device still boots in normal mode and works, but I cannot boot into recovery mode anymore. I really need it because the device boots normally but sometimes acting strange since I rooted it. I'd like to try unrooting it by going into recovery mode or doing a factory reset, but both options disappeared.
Here's what I've tried:
- I Googled this problem very thoroughly, but didn't find any help aside from "hold down 2 buttons to go into recovery mode" type of answers.
- I tried holding down volume up+power buttons while turning it on, but didn't work.
- Tried holding down volume down+power. Nope.
- Tried rebooting inside Android into recovery mode with Quick boot app. It rebooted my device but again it went into normal mode instead.
- Tried to reboot into recovery mode with ADP and FastBoot in Windows. ADB recognized my device (listed the serial number), Fastboot didn't recognize my device. So I tried to reboot into recovery with ADB. Same stuff happened. The device rebooted into normal mode.
- Tried to do a factory reset. DIDN'T work! Rebooted into normal mode once more. The factory reset hasn't deleted anything.
- I have the latest available update.zip from the official website for my device, but without recovery mode I cannot install it.
Any ideas? Did I really lose the possibility of recovery forever with a single click?

P20PRO Brick NEED SOME HELP

Hello
I tried to flash android 9 on my P20 PRO and after the reboot the phone enetered emui recovery for verification and i got the error verification fail and phone turned off.
Now if i wanna try power on the phone nothing happens. But the phone is on cuz i hook it on pc and the HIsuite starts , also on fast boot i can sent reboot command and the phone reboots but the display is black .....
Is there a way i can flash a new system via fastreboot or adb ?? Any help is appreciate..
Thanks alot
eRecovery
The recovery sitting in the "recovery" partition. eRecovery is Huawei's recovery that is able to fix your phone by downloading the latest OTA update via WiFi if you got stuck in a boot loop for several reasons.
To boot into eRecovery:
Power down your phone (if you are stuck in a boot loop simply continue with the next step).
Hold volume up until you end up in eRecovery.
Setup your WiFi access and let it recover your phone.
If unsure, "wipe data/factory reset" to get rid of any leftovers you messed up.
Reboot and be happy that you have not fully bricked your phone.
i cant enter in erecovery ....i have no image on display i tried press power+ volum up and nothing...the phone is on but is black screen .
now the led is blinking red battery empty i think
did you have an unlocked bootloader?
if thats right, you can use this guide to recover.
XDA - Recover
I recovered my phone 2 or 3 times following that guide.

You could try the recovery method in my signature.
Wrote it a while back.

Is this a hard brick?

Hey everyone!
I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 flat (G930F).
I constantly run into boot loop since I restarted my phone with no OS.
My story:
I downgraded my phone to the stock Oreo firmware using Odin. Everything went fine.
After that, I also flashed the TWRP package with Odin. I have used this package several times before and it's okay.
Then, I boot into TWRP and did the following:
I wiped Dalvik, System, Data, Internal, Cache.
I went ahead to install LightRom. Unfortunately it has failed to install.
Ever since this happened my phone is in bootloop. I can't boot into download mode or recovery.
I have tried:
Volume DOWN + Home + Power for Download mode -> No luck
Volume UP + Home + Power for Recovery mode -> No luck
Please help me if you have any idea how to fix this!
Try use adb tools to boot in recovery via laptop/pc.
