I have been trying to get the latest updates for my phone but every time i try, i just get the message that i am up to date. I bought the phone unlocked from a US seller and am using it with my Canadian carrier (Public Mobile/Telus). How do i go about getting the latest software updates? I have the XAA CSC and my service provider sw version is XAA/XAA/SPR.

I looked in settings>apps>all and it seems I don't have that installed on mine. Have you installed or triggered some kind of back up software?
It's included in the 23.2.A.1.62 Vodafone Germany firmware which I flashed with Flashtool yesterday.
The package names are:
com.sonymobile.callitems
com.sonymobile.providers.callitemsprovider
probably something with Vodafone, I've removed it from my device with no issues
I know that the latest Android security patch for the s8+ is June. For some reason I don't recieve ota anymore after I upgrade my firmware to oreo through Odin.
Can someone help how to fix this problem. Or a way to revert to original version.

I don't know if this is a delay or simply I wasn't update the tablet or not, but I just have an OTA Update, mainly bug fixes though, running Android 5.1.1 currently

No not possible but I flashed xxa u1 firmware and it's been fine plus got a security patch update few days ago
