S7 FRP Lock on - what to do? - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Hello guys,
so long story short:
My dad sent me his "old" S7 (SM-G930F) and I didn't know that there was something like FRP Lock until now...
So I did reset it to factory standard and now i can't get into the phone... And it seems like the google account he is using atm is not the account he registered the
phone with. (I also needed to reset the password of his old account since he forgot the password - amusingly i never rly changed the password it just stayed the same)
More Problems:
I don't know if OEM settings are active...
I am a noob considering Phones! - I don't know if it makes sense to try to flash the phone...
My question now is: What should i do?
Thanks in advance!
regards
knexxy
P.S.: sorry to any admin if this is in the wrong section :/

SMT-700.. Galxy Tab S 8.4... forgoten the password on user. dont want to loose data.

One day i was just opening my tablet and saw that my fingerprint got vanished and its asking me the alternative passwords. I remembered the one on the owner account and opened it and then I changed it to swipe and back to fingerprint... My account was alright then.. it had the fingerprint back in not time. BUT the standard user.. the other one.. i dont remember its password. Ive tried so many, those which i just thought of but did not put them ever in anything.. but it was no use.. if there is one password left, ITS THE ONE BUT I DONT REMEMBER IT.. that account has the most data in it so i cant afford to loose any data.. i wanted to know that if there is some way of removing passwords from the whole Android Device? Or Changing Passwords? Or Administrators for changing the passwords... anything i just want it back... another thing is that after the 5 unsuccessful tries.. it does not say unlock via google maybe because it is standard user... Please tell me how to do it Step-by-Step... please... ull be a lifesaver!
READ ALL OF IT PLEASE.. MAIN THING IN THE END. STEP BY STEP WORK NEEDED... SERIOUS PROBLEM.. MAY SEE THE ATTACHED PHOTO!
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. There is a reason you use passwords and that's if someone doesn't know the password they can't get to the data. The only way to reset the password is to wipe the device and lose data. There is a dedicated forum for your device here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s They are the experts on your device and the best place to get your questions answered.

OEM Unlock HardCode?

Hi all,
I have bought Moto G3 XT1540 on AMAZON a couple of months ago
User (my nephew) forgot his pattern on the phone. Then he decided to wipe the phone thinking it was going to solve the issue. Unfortunately it is asking for Google account verification. Again, he does not know it.
I tried to flash the phone following steps on: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219
Everything is OK, but we need to check "OEM Unlock" on Android developer settings, which of course i cannot do since i cannot access the phone.
Is there any way to hard-code this or do something?
Regards,
First reset the password of the Google account. You can do this from any webbrowser. Google offers several ways to reset a password. E.g. via mail, SMS...
Not being able to revocer your own Google Account is pretty much impossible unless you deliberately setup the account in a way that in cannot be recovered. ?
Then you have to wait for 72 hours. After that the Moto G3 will accept the new password of the Google account.
Thanks for your prompt reply.
It is not working :s

Did you wait the 72 hours as per @u42671 instructions? You replied 3 hours after his post...
Thanks for tour reply.
Was the first thing I attempted to do, 1 week ago when the issue started.
I cannot perform the reset, this kid does not even remember which gmail account he used!

Unfortunately there will be no way to access to the device if you dont have the Gmail, password that you first used to set up this device. You need to have that information unfortunately we don't have that information and our only advice is a factory reset.

If you are the registered owner (ie. have a receipt w/matching IMEI or serial number, or purchased direct from Moto under your Moto account), you should be able to send it in to Motorola to have it "repaired".
Thanks for your reply. I guess we will have to do that.
I thought I could just fix it at home.

Security and protection methods are far better than they used to be in Android, the intent is to keep the phone's data secure or prevent it from using your service or removing any gain (ie. sell it) from someone else, they are near impossible to circumvent in recent Android versions. To my knowledge no user here knows how, or are will share it if they do know, that is why I say "near impossible", the method is intended to be as close to foolproof as possible.
The only option that could possibly be available to try is to reflash the factory firmware from scratch via fastboot, but you must have the matching or newer factory image. There are potential risks, but it is the only other option. I know the Marshmallow 1GB images are available, and the lollipop 1GB&2GB images, but there is no Marshmallow 2GB image for the XT1540 at this time.
Also, I don't know if that will work or not, but it is the only other option in your power... note there is a potential risk of bricking the device if done incorrectly or the wrong fimware image is used, but it may be your only choice for self-repair at this point.
Your Google account, especially when tied to devices, is probably more valuable than the device itself and should be treated that way. I hope the "kid" at learns a lesson here.

Account action required/sync not working

Hello XDA! Since yesterday on my HTC 10 running a custom ROM(don't know if it makes a difference) I get this notification from Google play services. It says account action required and when I tap on it, it asks for my Gmail and password. I put in the right combination and pretty much nothing happens.
The big problem is that almost no Google app works now. YouTube, G+, Hangouts etc. Chrome and others do work tough.
I tried putting in a wrong password and it definitely knows that it's the wrong one so I'm thinking I'm not being hacked.any ideas?
I forgot to add that in settings and Google account it says that sync isn't working, will be back shortly. It's been a whole day though.

Factory Reset Protection - find out previous account

Hello
I had to do a hard reset on a Nexus 9 from our school that was stuck in a boot loop. The reset was successful but now I am asked to sign in with the previously used account. The problem is that each of our students uses a different Google account and I don't know which student was the last user of this tablet. The Google accounts used are from Google Apps for Education so if I knew the account name, I could easily reset its password and get access. But we have >200 accounts and I can hardly try each of them to sign in.
So how can I find out which was the previous account that was used on this tablet?
Thanks in advance
Chris

Why do you need to bypass the FRP? Just put your email and password in and you'll be fine and won't need to do that.
Well I buy it cheap off someone that couldn't do anything with it because he don't know much so now I'm trying to do this so my wife can use the phone
If you can help with that great
Because I know the obvious way is put in info lol

Sorry man I can't help you because when someone is trying to bypass the FRP security it's usually because the phone was stolen from someone and I'd rather not give out my combination firmware for that reason.. You can call the carrier that the phone came from and ask them to help you and if it hasn't been reported stolen then they'll get it off.
Discussions about FRP without proof of ownership aren't allowed on XDA.
FRP is there for exactly this reason, its meant to protect stolen phones from being used again illegally.
This is Samsung's instructions on what you can do about FRP:
If you already reset your device, but don't remember your Google username and/or password, the device can't be used. In that case, you can do one of these:
If you know your Google username but can't remember the password, you can reset your password on the device, or at www.google.com. It can take up to 24 hours for a new password to sync with all registered devices. After 24 hours, you can try logging in to your phone with the new password.
If you have multiple Google Accounts, and you can't remember which Google Account you set up on your device, visit https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager.
Log in with your Google username and password and check the list of devices registered to the account. If you don't see the device listed on the account, it means the device is registered to a different account. Use the same process to check for devices linked to your other Google Accounts. When you find the registered account, use it to log in to your device.
If you can't remember any of your Google Account information, you can send your device, along with proof of purchase, to an authorized Samsung Service Center. Samsung has special tools to reset the phone to factory defaults with no protection enabled.

Furthermore:
If you've bought a phone that is FRP locked you should take it up with the seller and get them to tell you what the Google sign-in details are, and if they refuse to tell you then make sure you ask where they got the phone from. Do not try to break the lock yourself!
