G2x rebooting.

G2x appears to be stuck in a boot cycle. After completely draining its battery, it began to happen. Ive tried charging while its off and it still happens. Its gets to the lock screen and it tuns off again. Stock rom, rooted, nv flash. Help..
When I had this problem on the gb leak I had to unlock as soon as it showed up. I switched to bionix as soon as it was released and it hasn't happened since. Might be an app causing the problem though.

Did you make a backup after you flashed clockworkrecovery? If so than retore it and you should boot fine. If you didnt make a backup then boot into recovery and do a factory reset.
REG, I have clockwordmod and I did a backup of my stock, but I think I did not have sufficient space on my SD card, so when I did the restore it succeeded, but when I rebooted my phone it's stuck on LG logo, do I have to reboot in recovery and do a factory reset?
Things to try
1 Factory reset in cwm
2 Load CWM internal recovery via nvflash (since you seem to have a small microsd)
3 Load another rom or nandroid back to stock again of your internal mem
I don't want to screw it up, would factory reset work for me in cwm?
It'll just wipe all your apps/cache. If that doesn't load correctly, then you got something wonky in either your boot or system.
Okay, so if that doesn't work, how can I get passed the LG reboot?

I already told you what to do. Look at what I wrote for options 2 and 3.
Edit: I actually told the OP what to do, but it goes for you too if you are in the same situation.
This happened to me today while I was out getting my car fixed! I was playing the new free game from amazon when it got a little hot so I let it rest, then next thing you know it was stuck doing the rebooting cycle. I was pretty pissed since I really raved earlier about how good this phone was until it struck me all the sudden.
I was at costco when this was still happening and showed it at the kiosk and asked if I could get a new another model since the G2X was making me pull my hair and basically I just have to bring the box in and they will replace it with the phone of my choice. Hoping they have sensation before the end of the month because this piece of brick is going. In the end I had to press down on the volume and power at the same time to LOSE ALL MY DATA to do a hard reset.
I don't care what people say about this phone and how great it is. I literally in the middle of costco curse the crap out of this phone!
Titanium and nandroid backup is definitely your friend.

[Resolved] [q] formatted samsung epic 4g touch need help restoring please

Hello
Today I was upgrading to the latest starburst rom...this was not the first time I upgraded roms and i did the exact same thing I had done in the past which included wiping data wiping cache wiping dalvik and then flashing....
when i did this and restarted my phone it wouldnt load past the boot screen...after the boot animation the phone stayed black...i repeated steps 1-3 again hoping i just did something wrong...but still nothing
i went back to look at the directions and i say that the developer said to format the system under mounts and storage...in bolded font...i thought maybe thats why it wasnt working so i did just what he said...
now when i load my phone it doesnt load at all and when i open cwm i get a string if e: errors basically saying that it cannot find the drive
if anybody has any advice on how to recover from this I would be extremely greatful
Im having the same problem cant figure out how to fix it.

[Q] Galaxy GTI5500M - Boot loop problems abound

Hey there,
So before I came here I searched far and wide for a solution to my problem. Somehow, in the dead of night I accidentily formatted my SD card while wiping the phone at the same time. As such, I have have no recovery to fall back on. I resigned to installing a ROM from scratch as I can't figure out where else to go from here. So I installed CWM through Odin> Wipe data/reset>Wipe cache> Mount USB> Copied update-cm-9-20120608-MADTEAM-galaxy5-signed.zip>Installed Gapps> Wipe cache> Reboot> Endless boot loop of doom.
I've tried several roms including CleanROM and a couple others, some wouldn't install but everyone that did install correctly would cause the same boot loop.
So is my phone junked or what? I can't even seem to find the manual code for recovery/reboot on the GTI5500M, the only info I can find is how to power it up in downloading mode.
Am I missing something? Just about pulling my hair out at this point.

[Q] Can't get past boot logo

Hey guys,
First off I am the newbiest of the noobs. And I think I stumbled into bricking my asus tf101. I was wondering if you incredibly amazing developers would have a work around for me
I had rooted the TF101 a while back it worked everything was fine, I was frustrated with the poor video performance and thought maybe upgraded to jellybean may improve some speed issues with the tablet. So I ran off did some fast googling and found a forum that posted the nightlies. (Team EOS from this site)
I downloaded the first one (right to the tablet) booted into the root bootloader thing (yea im so noob I don't even know the proper wordage) and installed from that.
Now when it boots it sits at a 4 colored square logo that rotates a pules. each little piece glows (like it's loading) but it just sits there forever. i have waiting 10-15-30-45 minutes nothing.
I was wondering if there was a way I could download a new jellybean file on a SD card, and somehow install over with that?
Could really use the help and need it explained to me like im 2 ..
Really sorry to have to ask guys. Save me!
It's a very well discussed issue here and in the teameos thread.
Did you do a full cache, dalvik, system and factory reset of the device through recovery?
Which recovery are you using? (you probably need a newer one)
If you can still boot in recovery (you should) then wipe cache, dalvik, system, do a factory reset (does not wipe sdcard but you will lose all other data) and finally reflash the rom.
If you can't boot in recovery for whatever reason, you can use easyflasher to go back to stock then start over. Frederuco made an awesome post detailing the entire procedure on transformerforums.

SD card fried?

Hi all, new here. I would appreciate any responses/ideas.
I have an Samsung Galaxy Rush. Here's what happened:
After playing Netflix for a while the sdcard would get full, so I would go into root and delete the cache(as instructed by someone else). One night I fell asleep, woke up the next morning, and decided to just wipe the entire sdcard. Booting into recovery I did just that. Plugged to compuer, ran Odin, pushed the stock tar.. all went well, but then the phone would not boot up. It will only go into recovery.
So I tried this again, except I wiped everything. Cache, dalvik cache, everything(i'm noob, pls don't hate ). Same result.
I should mention that in recovery, I can mount cache, mount this, mount that, but mounting the sdcard won't happen. It just blinks the screen.
I'm thinking either the sdcard is fried. Or it's one of these things I'm not familiar with (boot loop? soft brick?)
Thanks for taking the time to read.
