FRP Lock AND dm-verity verification issues - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Guides, News, & Discussion

I've been searching and I have come empty.
I bought this pre owned S7 G935FD and I rooted, flashed twrp and Magisk. Was trying to make FlyGPs a system app and I succeeded but it still required me to toggle Mock locations at Developer Options. Toggling this is detected by PoGo and toggling it off makes FlyGPS useless.
That's how I ended up with developer options off.
I went on to delete the app manually from the system app and then decided to reboot just to see if it was gone.
I ended up with a brick throwing in dm-verity error. At this point I should have flashed the verity zip through twrp but instead I flashed stock rom giving away my precious twrp.
Now i have lost twrp and I have dm-verity error.
My request to you dear members is a solution. How do I remove FRP lock from recovery without booting because all methods i have include boot yet i can't boot because of verity?

Get Smart Switch on your PC, enter downloading mode on your phone (power + home + vol down) and install stock rom.

[Q] Stuck in bootloop, recover files

Hello.
Today my oneplus one was suddenly stuck in bootloop. This happened in the middle of the day when I rebooted my phone. My phone was running the latest update that came OTA (stock lollipop). Whenever I boot my phone it starts loading and suddenly a Chrome (browser) window appears for 1 second and tries to load a website. Afterwards my lock screen pop ups for 1 seconds and it starts to reboot. During the lockscreen I tried to unlock my phone as soon as possible, but it just reboots. (Any ideas about this weird problem?)
I CAN boot it in recovery mode by holding volume-down button and power button.
I CAN boot it in fastboot mode by holding volume-up button and power button.
Perhaps a factory reset will do the trick, but I don't have a backup of my files (because this happened so suddenly without me trying to flash/customize my phone). My first priority is recovering my files, because most solutions will end up in me losing every file. Unfortunately I've found little possibility to do this during the bootloop problem. I've tried to flash TWRP because it could make backups of my phone. I tried it through ADB/Fastboot, but it failed because my device is not unlocked (I can't go to settings and put my phone in developer mode and debugging mode). So I've read somewhere that unlocking my phone (bootloader?) through ADB will wipe my phone, which is exactly what I don't want.
Also I've tried this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/help/fix-brickloop-audio-fx-fc-efs-corrupt-t2879061
But It also failed because my device was not unlocked.
Did I miss some steps somewhere or did I read something wrong?
Hopefully anybody has an idea to either fix the bootloop without losing my data, or finding a way to recover my files before wiping the phone.
Thank you.

Unfortunately you might be stuck in a catch-22 situation here. In order to access the files you'd need to unlock the bootloader, but in doing so you'd lose those files. Without usb debugging already enabled I can't see a way out of this.
Decided to unlock the bootloader through ADB. (bye bye data)
After I've unlocked it, I've tried installing TWRP.
Some minor problems occured but I can finally boot into TWRP through volume-down button + power button.
I've decided to download the stock ROM i've found on the OPO forums.
Couldn't acces my phone through normal methods, so I had to use ADB to push the files into my phone.
Installing the file through TWRP, wiped cache/dalvik and installed super user before rebooting.
After rebooting my phone is stuck on the boot screen now. (This also happened before I installed TWRP on my phone)
I've also tried this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/guide-return-opo-to-100-stock-t2826541
Also no succes. I'm stuck in the bootscreen where it says 'cyanogen'.
EDIT: Managed to fix it eventually through: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/help/fix-brickloop-audio-fx-fc-efs-corrupt-t2879061 (part 2) writing the command in TWRP.
Phone finally boots normally again.

Exactly what did you flash? Full filename please. No errors occurred?

Hopefully the stock cyanogen OS.
First I've tried to flash cyanogenmod 12 through TWRP (file is found here: https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/cm12s-yng1tas17l-installation-guide-review-change-log.304615/)
Afterwards I was still stuck in bootscreen, so I've looked for another solution.
Which made me find this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/guide-return-opo-to-100-stock-t2826541
After flashing this file (probably the same thing) the problem still remained.
Eventually after multiple wipes/factory resets (which did not solve the problem) I've entered the command in TWRP and after reboot it finally worked again.
So I basically flashed my phone twice, once through TWRPS and the other through the batch file (perhaps ADB?).
Also no errors occured which stopped the flashing and commands. Did have to reinstall TWRP and reboot instantly in it by holding the volume down button multiple times. This doesnt happen anymore though.
Only had to install google apps for CM12 (gapps), for which I used TWRP in recovery mode.
Currently reinstalling most apps on my phone and no problems yet.

CAUTION! DQF1 Update MAY Disable OEM Unlock = Custom Binary Blocked by FRP

After I got blocked by FRP twice in one day, I decided it was better to stay on DQE1. After doing all the intial setup (I do mods and if everything goes smoothly I do a factory reset to start fresh) I noticed that OEM Unlock (under Developer Options) was turned off. After enabling it and OK'ing a Message that said that device protection features wouldn't work the FRP never came back. I don't know, I don't mess with OEM Unlock because I was told not to. My phone was unlocked and I'm using it on a GSM Network. So my advise is this:
If you get the FRP block you will need to flash a complete firmware via Odin. Flashing the stock recovery and trying to do a reset may not be possible, only download mode was available for me, the phone won't even charge or pass the Note5 splash screen. Don't worry, you will not loose photos or call log but after that it may feel a little buggy.
I will try again later this week.
(If you haven't rooted or done any modifications you don't need to worry)
I only flash the firmware/modem from each latest security patch...............will remember that if I decide to flash the entire stock rom.

Recovery is installed, turn off the phone completely; restarting will not work. Then press at the same time POWER, VOLUME UP AND HOME and keep pressing until the red message about recovery and it will enter the TWRP recovery, then you install first the Magisk and then the anti root removal.

Tapping on Developer Options causes Settings to crash

I've recently tried switching from SuperSU to Magisk for the SafetyNet.
In the process I've made the TWRP inaccessible through normal means (Vol Up + Power). Only when I tried to update the OS using normal way (in hope the developer options will start working again) the system booted into TWRP after the download. Then I flashed the Magisk and I had root again.
Now I do have root but I don't have TWRP that I can access and I can't get into developer options to enable USB debugging.
I've trying booting into recovery using Quick Reboot Pro but no luck. It's stuck on "Your device is booting...", I left it like that for 10 minutes or so until I gave up on this.
I've tried accessing developer options through safe mode. Still no luck there.
I've tried flashing two different versions of TWRP using the official app but something is still wrong. I can't access it though I suspect it is installed.
Please help.

[ SECURITY ] re-lock bootloader and custom recovery

after successfully flashing TWRP, Rooting and Installing Custom ROM, now I would like to :
-re-lock the bootloader (download mode) to prevent anyone from flashing a new ROM or any file by odin
but the OEM button in Dev Option is not available at all (disappeared)
- I would like to disable or lock access to the recovery (Custom TWRP) and download mod
I don't know
-disable power button when device is locked to prevent any one from powering it off without typing lock screen password
any ideas on how to please ? will be appreciated
I don't think you can re-oem-lock the bootloader without a stock-based ROM, and as far as I know, even if it's stock-based, it won't let you boot unless it's unmodified stock.
You can "disable access" to the recovery by basically making the recovery.img unbootable, or by making it boot to android (by flashing the boot.img to the recovery partition)
I don't think there's any method to disable access to download mode without hard bricking the device, or cutting the traces to a key on the mobo(and even then if you are rooted, you could technically reboot to download mode from android).
You can disable the power button long press on some ROMs, but it's pretty useless, since you can hard reset the phone by pressing power+vol down for 7 seconds, and there's no way to disable that without opening your phone up, and cutting the traces to your power or/and vol down button, and I don't think anyone would want to do that.

Help! OEM Lock turned back on and device can't boot S7

I was using my Galaxy S7 (G930W8) to profile an app I was working on a couple of days ago and my Developer Options menu disappeared somehow, I enabled it again and went and enabled USB debugging but I failed to notice that the OEM Unlock setting had reset itself (How is this even possible to do on a custom rom?!)
Now my phone was rebooted and it can't boot due to TRP lock (Was running TWRP and custom rom)
I managed to flash the stock recovery via ODIN and I am able to boot into it, but now I'm not sure what to do.
How can I backup my data from this device? I have some photos that aren't backed up to the cloud, my signal message history, and most important MY GOOGLE AUTHENTICATOR DATA! I know it was stupid to not back most of this up and I won't make that mistake again.
Can I somehow flash the stock rom and boot it without wiping data? Is there some magic recovery software that will work in this case? I can't seem to connect with ADB while in recovery mode (unless I choose sideload but then it only shows up as a sideload device to ADB). I also tried fastboot boot twrp.img but fastboot isn't detecting my device while it's in download mode.
I don't know how to attach a bounty to this but I will pay for a solution that allows me to save my data.
Paid app that works fine.
I am desperate, some of the photos and videos relate to a car accident I was in so I really need them, the rest are my kid and dogs and I can't make those memories come back.
I'm also open to spiderboard solutions to get my data back, if that's the only viable solution will do it..
you cant boot into twrp ?

what recovery is it? maybe there is a solution
I can't boot into TWRP because of the FRP custom binary lock, I can flash a recovery through ODIN but my understanding is only stock recovery will actually load due to the OEM lock but if I'm wrong please tell me.
It's currently on the stock samsung recovery.
