My rooted OPO is currently running LineageOS 14.1.2 with Google Dialer framework and Phone app version 11.0.164102751.
I desperately need the vibrate on call connect feature!
I tried using various 3rd party apps but they only work when the Call screen is there.
The framework I had earlier had this feature.. But after I started using Pixel Launcher, the dialer framework changed.
Is there a better Dialer framework I can flash? Or is there some kind of an app which will work on any screen?
Someone out there, please do let me know! Thanks in advance!

I would like to know if it's possible to change the touchwiz default phone application, when clicking on this I would like to launch exdialer search contacts / get dialpad rather than the stock phone application.
Is there any way to do this (rooted or non-rooted)..

It's the only thing that comes to mind but I never could get myself to learn how to use Tasker effectively

I can't stand the stock dialer's UI. JB's dark themed dialer was such an improvement.
I have tried Wanam to try and code it out but not working there either although it did fix the main settings menu.
Desperately need a fix for the disgusting white dialer app as all 3rd party dialers use the stock samsung base code.
I got a new OnePlus One and found out that I can't have the direct dial shortcut to call out automatically. It shows the stock dialer with the number to be dialed instead. This also happens when I use 3rd party dialer like Dialer One, ExDialer etc. All of them, when call is made, will just show the stock dialer with number to be dialed and stay there...
I have searched through the internet and couldn't find the solution for this. Anybody has any idea on how to solve this problem.
I'm using Cyanogen 11S 44R with Go Launcher and Dialer One (i've tried with and without Dialer One and Go Launcher installed still the same problem...)

Best thing is u can report the dev....u can change the theme using layers manager if u don't like the stock theme..thats all I can say..

So, I'm working on getting various sense apps working from my M8 to my Nexus 6P. I've got several thanks for DH's Sensify app. But, I'm trying to play with the dialer.
What apks do I need to get the HTC Dialer fully functional? I have the dialer working, but the people/contacts portion and logs dont show up? Anyone know?

I love the Google Dialer, the way it displays picture is awesome. In front of it, Samsung dialer is ugly.
So, is there any method to completely the Samsung dialer with Google or similar AOSP dialer?
I know there are many apps available in the market which although replaces the contacts and call log screen, but when it comes to dialing the number, it reverts to stock dialer.
I have Note 5 running Moar 2.2.
Any views?

That's the page I used. Works absolutely fine on my sprint note 5 using rooted deodexed stock mm ROM.

Update: Flashed MM Rom and also flashed the Google dialer. Working fine and no FC however, whenever there is incoming call, it is not recognizing the name already stored in the contacts. But, when I look at the log, the names appearing properly.
I have given all the permission to Google dialer and contacts.
Any fix?
Update: Well I flashed the ROM again due to some other issue and after that I flashed the Google dialer zip.

Just wanted to let you know that with Marshmallow we now have the ability to choose the dialer the system uses. I was able to install the Google Dialer apk and set it as default. I'm not rooted and it's working well ☺

Hello , I am using google now launcher on my S6. But there app notifications are not active. I can't see how many mail I got or how many messages come to the whatsapp. Are there any solutions for this ?

Unfortunately you have to use a third-party app, like Notifyer Unread Count, KK Notifier or similar.
Those to my knowledge will not work on Google Launcher in the dock unless you root and go Xposed:

I have root and xposed ready. But i dont know how to activate notifications for google launcher can you help me please?
