Dear Galaxy Ace 3 users, after days learning and learning, successfully compiled OmniRom 4.4 for our device. Credits go to @kotzir for his device tree and @duffycop for letting me use his computer by remote control.
OmniROM is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4.4 (Kitkat), which is designed to increase performance, reliability and features over stock Android for your device. It's also about options, which is the beauty of Android.

Hi @JavierAlonso Thank you for this ROM! It's very light and stable. Just one thing: I couldn't get it to install with TWRP 3.2.1 (or any other TWRP version really). It would always stuck on the boot logo.
Then I tried to flash it with CWM 6.0.5 and boom it worked!
It might sound strange, as you mentioned in your post that TWRP is a must, but believe me this is what happened to me:laugh:

I see it. V5 has some crashes (SystemUI stopping, wifi auto disconnect sometimes) but I can live with that!

1 recovery 3.3.1.1 by ashyx
2 full wipe
3 install rom, gapss, magisk
4 reboot system
5 bootloop in logo

1. Try to reflash only the rom. Also delete the Android folder in internal storage (sometimes can cause bootloops idk why). I have the FN variant and the rom is working just fine.
2. Check if you are using the latest magisk
3. Check if you are using the arm gapps for Android 9 (use pico or aroma to choice what you want from gapps)

You can do a dirty flash (flash the rom above the previous version) and then install again gapps/magisk but this is not recommended. Try and see

And I've searched for hours and I cant seem to convert it to adoptable storage. I have tons of apps i wnna transfer. So any tips? again Thank you.

Nope, no need to format data. But clean flash via wipe dalvic, system, data, cache and vendor and then flash Omni.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.​

For me without some modifications (ambient display etc) the battery life is good (1 day with simple usage instagram youtube)

Provide logs and etc.. also if you mean the screen recorder from the QS panel.. this is arm64 application and won't work on arm. Use a screenrecorder from playstore

Hi, I flashed this ROM via orange fox recovery and then after reboot there was a message "kernel is not seandroid enforcing" at the top left corner. After that was bootloop with RR logo. My phone is j415fn and bootloader version is u6. Any suggestion to how to flash properly? Thanks.
