i have lenovo essential tab3 710i which seems no one care to make some efforts to keep it alive so just wanna know if i can flash c-apps working on stock android 5.1 with no fcs.... at least to have themes working
Hi.. I recently purchased a Yu Yunique phone for some testing work. It has 5.1.1 pre installed.
When I searched the Yu play god website, I found two categories of ROMs listed for the product-
1 . Yunique YU-OPEN-OS Build(s)
2. Yunique YUOS Official - Android 6.0.1 Build(s)
Q.1 What are the differences in the above two.
Q.2 Is the second one just the marshmallow version of the rom preinstalled in mine. ?

YUOS = with GApps and stable
YU Open OS = No GApps (Flash yourself) and nightly experimental builds
I switched from MIUI 8.1.1.0 to official Lineage OS 14.1 2017.1.25 (with Gapps pico). First i noticed, that my fingerprint not working, so i thought, that maybe i have a goodix sensor, and Lineage OS doesn't support it. Then I flashed the unofficial 2017.1.08 goodix build by Minz1 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/development/rom-minz1s-lineageos-rom-t3528736), but that didn't help. Then I flashed Ressurrection remix 5.8.0 2017.1.14, but it had the same issue.
I even tried to flash a CM firmware, but nothing changed.
What should I do?

The most accurate help can be found in the thread that you already posted above
Most probably this lineageOS and the other custom roms based on it aren`t fully functional for your device and this is the risk that users must take
You can always flash back the original rom in order to have a working device

This is Resurrection Remix 5.5.9 (Android 5.1.1) for our Bluboo XFire, ported from http://www.pharaohs-team.com/2016/10/resurrection-remix-559-51mt6735.html, and using help of mtkroms and Google, lot of thanks to all
The rom works properly, Video playback and recorder, GPS (Not ever, but works), WiFi, Bluetooth, Games, Audio…
Its stable for daily use, and for me is better than stock, without losing nothing (It has Enginner mode and FmRadio inclusive)
It can have some minor bugs (Only I found is after installing gapps first reboot to desktop not works until opening settings, but then all right).
It comes in a zip file that can be flashed using "Recovery Carliv" from here too, or CWM/TWRP if you find one.
EDIT: If link for Recovery Carliv doesn't work, here are a copy.
Gapps are not preinstalled, you can download zip in opengapps.org and flash it after my zip

hey mate , i found a solution , and i port it to my phone , very cool my friends thanks ;
all the other roms had some problems with driver/firmware , this rom after only porting the boot.img
it works like a charm ,

With this mtk6735 I searched for a rom for this chipset there and modify using there guide and adding some other things

With this rom I was happy, but I still using again stock one because dual sim doesnt work right :crying:
I'm not actively using this phone, I use a THL 4000 (Older), but sometimes I use it, its a good phone, except my has the screen somewhat bad callibrated...
