Lock screen notifications - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Questions & Answers

Hi all
I have a question please!
I've hidden the content of notifications on the lock screen but want to retain visibility of the calendar notification and perhaps a couple of additional apps.
How can I set the phone to hide the content of text messages, whatsapp etc and show calendar alerts and a few other apps like amazon shopping alerts?
Thanks in advance,

[Q] Calendar/Tasks notification popups?

Can anyone point me to any apps that generate popup notification windows and sound for any calendar and tasks events (like the incoming SMS popup you get with Go SMS) that would integrate with the main calendar and tasks apps (GTasks, etc)? I have trawler the Market and Google but haven't come up with anything to give me more than just the status bar notifications for each individual app.
I would like to know this as well.

[Q] How to start FB Messenger Popup without Notification tray?

Hello,
I have a question that shouldn't be too hard:
the FB Messenger offers an option to "Start conversations from Notification tray". (In the category chat heads)
If enabled, a notification is placed in the tray. (see attachement 1)
Clicking this notification gives you a nice popup from which you can start conversations. (see attachements 2 and 3)
I like this popup but the notification annoys me. Is there a possibility to create a shortcut/intent/whatever to start this popup?
Then it would be possible to either start it from the launcher or as a reaction to an event in tasker.
Thanks ahead!

Settings > Lockscreen > Uncheck "Custom Lockscreen" > Check "Custom Widgets"
That gives you the standard KitKat lockscreen where widgets like DashClock can be added. DaskClock being very extensible and allowing many custom extensions for apps like whatsapp.
I'm sure there's some sort of lockscreen app that may be able to do that, but on stock there isn't. You can turn on custom widgets in the lockscreen settings and swipe to the right on the lockscreen to add widgets like whatsapp.
Just download dashclock widget and add the extensions you need.you can incorporate weather, whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, emails and whatever else you wish

Clear badge count with notifications

Hi, for the life of me I can not find the setting which allows you to clear the badge from an app icon when you clear it's notifications.
For some reason if I clear notifications from Textra, the badge goes away too, but not for the email client.
Can you please help me find that pesky setting so I can apply it to all apps?
thanks!

Messaging app content on lock screen

Hi guys
I have selected the general option from settings to Hide sensitive content in lock screen notification but i am unable to exclude messaging app from it. There is no option to exclude default messaging app from hide the content. I was able to do it my mate 10 but no more in p40 pro. Any work around. I want to hide all content on lock screen except the SMS content.
