Hey so I have nova launcher pro with tesla unread on my Huawei Mate 9 and my icon notification badges work for facebook, fb messenger, twitter, whatsapp, snapchat, instagram etc. but not for the stock messaging app. Any tips for getting it working?

When I got Apex Launcher Pro, I was under the impression that it would be able to add unread badges to all my apps using a toggle in the Accessibility menu, and that's not the case at all. Instead, developers must use Apex's built-in API for unread badges to appear. The problem is that there's no good way to find apps that support this API, so it might be nice to have a list of the apps that do. I'll start:
Messaging + GV
Aquamail
facebook would be nice (unread notifications badge)
Use Missed it! From the playstore for ALL your apps

like whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter and so on??
It´s a shame that emui-launcher does not support this feature (like Samsung Touchwiz)...

Hi to everyone... I own C636 version and I notice that there isn't any Gmail, Facebook, whatsapp & Twitter app icon notifications counter number... All other apps (Instagram, messenger, Viber) that I'm using has this option except for this ...is there any solution?
I think it's launcher limitations,check the launcher settings.
WhatsApp Notification Badges are not showing I am using Nova Launcher Premium on Galaxy S8 Plus, I checked its Tesla Settings as well but there I cant see WhatsApp app icon like other apps have.
Is there any other way that to show WhatsApp notification badges?
I think you should consider reinstalling both launcher and whatsapp
did u enable usage access from setting for nova/tesla ? mine is working fine

I am going crazy I have tried everything to get app-badges working, but NO... I just won't!
Messenger - OK
Instagram - no App badges, but OK in top-line notification
Gmal - no ... but the Huawei mail app is OK
facebook - nothing at all.
I have tried Nova launcher and Prime - only instagram got the badge...
Any idea? What launcher?
