After andorid update I'm having an issue with the lockscreen. Normally I always use fingerprint.
After a nightly Android update my phone asked me enter your pattern password once normally
(because it was restarted as expected). But i can not remember my patern password.
I have Android 7.X on Samsung S7 and no usb debugging enabled, no root, no SAMSUNG account (Find My Mobile does not work for me). I have only google account (FRP locked enabled by me) but it is for just locking screen not unlocking screen remotely (Find My Device does not work).
I do not want to loose my data with Factory Reset. Does anyone can help me?

i updated my galaxy s6 edge to 5.1.1 and full reset factory done , but after update i have a problem.
i use fingerprint sensor for lock screen , after setup fingerprint for lock screen and restart my phone , after that i dont have acces to my vpn setting and it ask me for Credential password !!!!
but when i change lock screen method to pin or password there is no problem !!!
any idea how i can solve this problem ?

I just update my Dutch S6 to 5.1.1 and get the same question. I do not have a password for this...

Damn same here.
Added pattern lock and after that .... complete lock-out.
Not even google was able to remotely unlock it via.

Now let's see if I can find a solution for the problem: "enter password for credential storage"... to have access to my VPN settings.

My child draw the pattern wrong and the device is locked ,I enter gmail and the password with no result I have flashed custom recovery with aroma file manger and delete the gesture key it open temporarily and I enabled Usb debugging but the phone is not unlocked

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935F) running Firmware Update version 6.0.1 (G935FXXS1BPII). I am trying to bypass FRP lock with no pc or otg. Wifi Pull seems to get me to set up pin, but share and web service is disabled and there is no camera on the pin lock screen when I set it up. I can't seem to open a browser. Sim doesn't work either, so emergency call solution does not work. Does anyone have any ideas on how to bypass the activation screen without the need for PC, Sim, or OTG.?.? All I have is an SD Card and I tried to unlock the bootloader through Android Recovery (Apply Update from SD Card), but it won't work. Please help. I really need this phone fixed right now, but have no budget to send it into the shop to fix the charger port.

I accidentally disabled my Samsung keyboard using the application, Package Disabler Pro. Before I had a chance to enable it, though, my phone automatically restarted and now I'm locked out because it needs me to enter my password (which, of course, I'm unable to do because my keyboard is disabled) for 1st time authentication.
Below are the specs of my phone:
1. Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus
2. Not rooted/No custom ROM/Stock Factory Settings
3. Unlock methods: Password(needs to be entered every time the device restarts)/Fingerprint

So, here is my problem : i've found my old family S6 (G920F - Romania) and, after many attempts to remember the old screen lock model, i factory reset it from the default recovery (bad decision) and after the format, i can't pass the Samsung Account lock; to be clear, i know the Samsung Account, but it's just not working to pass that login screen (i've removed the device from the Samsung Account, but no lock, still not working ; (DEVELOPER OPTIONS WERE NOT ENABLED ON THE DEVICE PRIOR TO THIS)
So, my question is, can anyone help me recover this device or it will be forever stuck?
