I went back to Stock Rom and first flashed the Rollback B300 and then B131.
After that Im stuck the whole time on the Honor Logo.
I tried to get into eRecovery, TWRP and Stock Recovery, nothing works, only Bootloader but I cant flash a ROM cause the 3 Button Method also dont work.
Any solutions or maybe totally dead Device?
If Before flashing rollback pakage you were on a nougat custom rom/emui 5:
-download from firmware finder page's the emui 5 firmware that you had before
- use Huawei firmware extractor to extract .IMG files
-using fastboot flash these partitions:system boot recovery recovery2, if commans are not allowed unlock your bootloader again even if it is unlocked yet, (your phone would be unbricked, using dload method flash rollback package and your emui4 firmware)
tried it, doesnt work.
nothing works, i also got red blinking light.
It is not hard bricked. You also can't flash anything else since the bootloader is locked (or you unlocked it after downgrading).
Anyways, you should be able to boot to recovery. As soon as your device sticks at Honor logo, hold down the power button to reboot. As soon as the screen goes black, immediately leave the power button and press it again in combination with the Volume Up button. Hold this combination until you hear a vibration and the Honor screen. Your device should now boot to recovery. Perform a Factory Reset and reboot the device.
Hopefully your device will now successfully boot to system.
And the red blinking light indicates that the battery is low. Nothing else.

It wont boot, I only see the bootloader warning and when I hold the Volumen Up Button, it just says "Your Device is booting now..." and after some time it reboots itself.
I tested this with stock e recovery + stock recovery and also with TWRP.
Its just the same every time.
I also got this black screen with the red thunder logo before something else happens.
And i also cant do nothing without charger, if i try to turn it on without charger, it just blinks two times red and the screen stays black.
Old problem fixed, new Problem, I cant flash or install anything cause TWRP always gives me the error.

Before doing this, try to move the data (files) from your storage and follow this:
Go to wipe and go to advanced, wipe data and storage, even if it's says error, wipe them again.
Then reboot to TWRP and see if it's fixed

Right. And I think this is the reason for no booting and stuck at honor logo.
What can I do now?
Are there any chances to get my phone back to life?

Hold down vol down and power and hold it until you see fastboot/bootloader.
Then flash this:

To boot to twrp you have to disconnect from pc and hold vol up and power until you see the twrp logo. try few times.

Did it, it wont boot into this TWRP.
But in the 3.0.2.0 TWRP
Try this command in TWRP terminal:
mkfs.f2fs /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/userdata

Ok so I think I may have accidentally deleted something I wasn't supposed to on the TWRP recovery and when I tried to reboot the phone (the system) it gave me a prompt saying "No OS Installed" or something like that. I ignored it and continued anyway. So basically the phone rebooted but it got stuck/froze on boot (where it says HTC blah blah). It's not really a boot loop where it keeps restarting it's just there froze. Now I now you have to hold the power button for 10 seconds or so but the phone just won't reboot or power down/turn off. I also tried holding down the volume down + power and it doesn't restart to recovery either. It's just there frozen. I'm trying to get to the bootloader or recovery so I can fix this issue but I can't even power down the phone! And this phone doesn't have a removable battery so that's out of the question. What can I do other than waiting for the phone's battery to die out?
Can you hold down the power button until the keys start flashing? It should boot if you press until the lights go out.
Can you reach it from adb or fastboot?

No. Like I said I already tried holding down the power button for several seconds up to a minutes multiple times. The keys don't flash at all. It doesn't reboot or turn off. It's just stuck there. I tried holding down the volume and power button as well. Nothing. It's just stuck there on that boot screen (HTC quietly brilliant). I can't reach the device on abd (it says offline) and I can't reach it on fastboot either
Hm. What exactly did you delete?
You could try to leave it on until battery low. Then charge, power on into bootloader.

I basically wiped the entire internal sd card. I also wiped the System.
Ok so now the phone is dead but I can't seem to boot into bootloader/recovery. I keep pressing volume down + power multiple times but it just doesn't work. And if I do turn it on normally it'll go back to the boot screen and stay frozen until the battery dies.
Ok so I managed to "/adb reboot-bootloader" from my computer. I noticed that there's no recovery option on the bootloader anymore. What the hell? Did I delete the recovery by mistake? How can I flash the recovery again?
Strange... Get a recovery and
fastboot flash recovery FILENAME
Good luck!

Ok so I actually did manage to get into TWRP Recovery (v2.3.3.0). But it says "No OS Installed" what does it mean by that? How can I fix it?
Actually when I try to do anything like wipe something or ADB Sideload i keep getting these errors:
E: Unable to mount '/sdcard'
E: Unable to mount storage.
It seems that it can't locate my sd card. Although when I press mount I can see all the files on my computer but I can't see it on the TWRP's File Manager or when I try to install a .zip
Try latest twrp and see if it lets you wipe the sdcard.

I flashed the latest verison of TWRP and it's still doing the same thing. Same errors
Fixed
Mods you can close this thread. I found out what the problem was. It was the way the SD Card was formatted. I have a MacBook so I guess when I was formatting the SD Card on my Mac it wouldn't format it right or to a way recognizable to TWRP
The solution? I just wiped the internal SD Card on TWRP Recovery instead. That fix all the "E: Unable to mount '/sdcard'" issue.

Yeah I didn't know what you meant exactly. I thought you meant to wipe the sd card any way like through the computer (since my Mac read the sd card, oddly). But I guess you meant to do it inside of TRWP. Thanks
Hi all,
I just tried to update my XT1541 (I didn't see what version it was to, sorry), but was rewarded by an endless boot loop -- the phone wouldn't progress past the white splash screen, and lasted about 15-20 seconds per cycle.
Holding the [Volume Down] button got me to the bootloader screen, from which I was able to go into recovery. However, this only displayed an error message, 'No command found', with a red warning symbol over the android image.
I could get round this, however, by holding down [Power] then [Volume Up], and was able to both wipe the cache and do a factory reset. Neither of these helped fix the issue, however. I am unable to flash from the SD Card, either, as attempting this results in the error message, 'internal and external memory cannot be mounted'.
At this, point, I imagine I can try adb and fastboot, but does anyone have any guidance first?

Not able to get into TWRP recovery, stuck on "Your device is booting now..."
Hey everyone,
I just unlocked my bootloader and now want to flash TWRP and SuperSU. My Phone is already Nougat with Emui 5.
The Problem is that I'm just not able to enter the recovery. When pressing volume down + power or trying "adb reboot recovery" in the command line, the phone starts in the "unlocked bootloader warning screen". But not like in the normal warning screen it doesn't give me options but just shows a white line saying "Your device is booting now..." and thats where it gets stuck. Only gets hotter...
The fun thing is I already was in the recovery but wasn't able to flash the SuperSU (r275). Maybe it was not compatible with Nougat. TWRP just couldn't mount various things. After reflashing the recovery below instead of some other version (don't know anymore) I'm not able to enter the recovery again.
Feels like I searched the whole Internet and there is nearly nobody with the problem or a solution. Tried this as well: https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/help/honor-8-boot-to-twrp-recovery-lost-root-t3567462. It seems like nobody who published a Honor 8 + Nougat + TWRP + SuperSU "How To" acutally tried it himself.
I used this TWRP https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/development/twrp-t3566563
Please help me I can't use WhatsApp because I need to restore it with Titanium (Database way doesn't restore all chats... Other problem)
Thanks everybody I just can't stand this anymore
I had this issue after downgrading to EMUI 4.1 and upgrading to 5.0 again via twrp. I flashed some old 3.0.2.0 version from another developer. Booted into that, flashed the update.zip package for emui 5.0 and then i was able to successfully flash and boot into 3.1.1.0

Thank you I got it!
So I got my L09 with Nougat/Emui 5 on it. Then just used TWRP from https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70228949&postcount=252 (bootable, think ist ist 3.0.2.0) then flashed 3.1.1.0 from https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/development/twrp-t3566563 (bootable) and finally flashed SuperSu from first Link again. Other SuperSU versions (like the phh r275) WERE NOT flashable.
Magisk is the most compatible root solution for the Honor 8 on Nougat. The only thing that doesn't work (seamlessly) is MagiskHide, but the root itself works and flashes fine from TWRP.
I have tried to flash twrp multiple times to no success. I have tried multiple variations of the tool but for some reason when I go try to boot into recovery it takes me to erecovery which fails to do anything.
Are you sure about button combination
If you're trying to boot in to recovery with your phone plugged in to the computer it will także you to erecovery. If only i could find the person who całe up with this stupid idea that caused me hours of struggles, they'd pay for it. also when you use the pwr + vol.down combination let go off the power when you feel the vibration and further hold the vol.down until you see the boot screen appear.

I tried this like 20 times but this time it worked! I know have TWRP working. weird think tho is that no keyboard or default Huawei apps are preinstalled and BT isn't working.
Few problems with Binary SU and BusyBox
My phone seems to be rooted. Titanium Backup works but I have to accept every App instalation manually. With other settings restoring gets stuck. Also SuperSU reminds me every time that my BinarySU needs an actualisation but fails if it tries. And finally BusyBox just isn't able to get itself installed.
I'm thinking about restoring stock firmware, update to Nougat, and flash the two TWRP Versions and SuperSU again but hate to spend ours on my phone. OnePlus One rooting was sooo easy...

Is there a number of times you have to do it? How should I transition from this stupid "Your device is an enemy of the state" screen to something that will connect to adb?
So I tried to downgrade my honor 8 FRD-L09.
I downloaded the software UPDATE.APP
placed on the SD card on the dload folder, turned off phone, all three buttons together and it downloaded the file.
Then the phone booted after it was 100% and now its stuck on the "Your device has been unlocked and cant be trusted" "Your device is booting now"
I have the the other needed UPDATE.APP and its on the SD card BUT I cannot enter the flash thingy. If I hold down power button, it boots itself again to the same screen. If I hold power down and vol +. It tries to go twrp but its on the same "your device is booting now" screen.
If I try to hold down vol down and power. It restarts and its on the same screen again.
THe phone gets hot and wont turn off. I also cannot enter recovery mode or twrp mode. ANd the phone wont boot.
PC wont reconize the phone.
Help?
//edit I removed battery to shut it down. Then plugged it back in. No effect
//EDit 2 Now I can get into the bootloader and twrp. No idea what I did.
But the system wont boot because I cannot flash UPDATE.APP with power down + up and power button.
It still gets tuck into the your device is booting...

WHen I try to install custom rom it says unable to mount /cust and /product.
From the mount tab I cannot mount it.

Hello XDA, I have a huge problem. After rooting my phone according to this guide I wanted to revert it back to its factory state. After bumping into a bootloop I used the offline eRecovery solution but after that my phone does not start anymore. It is being detected by fastboot but otherwise the screen is blank and won't boot into TWRP after installing either. Does anyone have a clue how to solve this?

Yes, I placed the dload files on my external SD card and and the device doesn't boot anymore after "successfully" installing the update. It was on 100%, rebooted and the screen went blank. My phone's a MHA-L29C432B196, I used that image.

Just keep holding the volume up and power button (a few minutes) until the phone starts to power up, then let go of the power button and keep the volume up until the screen that shows reboot into recovery appears. Then you can choose factory reset, the phone should boot up. It happened to me a couple of times and I follow this procedure for the phone to boot.
