Is anyone else have an issue using VPN on 3g/4g on the Pixel XL with android 8.0? On wifi the VPN works fine but on data the VPN will connect but will not load any pages? I also have a galaxy S8 on T-mobile too and the VPN has no issues on 3g/4g. I did a factory reset with no luck. Im starting to think this may be a android 8.0 bug?

The Setup:
Sky Router (uk broadband)
Sonos with Sonos Boost
Samsung S7 Android 7.0
Pixel Android 7.1.2
Iphone 10.3..1
Issue:
All phones can connect to the Sonos setup.
However the Samsung S7 drops the connection after a while and then cannot find the Sonos System.
The ONLY way is by rebooting the Sky Router.
Rebooting the phone does not work
Switching Wifi on and off does not work
Setting a static DHCP IP number for the Samsung and Sonos Boost, does not work.
I don't think i have any software or settings on the Samsung that should affect this.
Can anyone suggest anything else I can do?

Anyone else having VPN connectivity issues with their S8+ ?
My AC88 Router hasPPTP & OPENVPN setup fine, I can access via my PC, Note 3 etc VPN & also Subscribed VPN to Europe, Americas & Asia etc without a problem.
On my S8+ it is only my routers OPENVPN via Openconnect App is working, I can neither access PPTP or Subscribed VPN. Always says in logs Authentication Failed. ( Yes I have redid the credentials to be simpler to still no avail & redid on other devices which work fine )
Am I missing some kind of security or lock mechanism on the S8+ ? Is the OpenVPN messing with the PPTP somehow?I can't seem to find any other info at this time.
Any advice is much appreciated.

I'm having the same issue. VPN works fine on laptop and S5 but not on S8. EXACT SAME settings on both.
I have PPTP IPSec and OpenVPN configuration working on my S8+ 955FD. There weren't any additional settings that I am aware of.

I have a personal VPN working off of a server in my home. Within the last week or so I've been having problems connecting from my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. It just refuses to connect. I rack my brain for over a week trying different settings on the server and nothing seems to change. It is a simple pptp connection. It has been driving me so insane that I actually considered formatting my server and starting from scratch. Then I noticed that if I try to connect from my Galaxy Tab B it connects just fine without any problems. So this seems to be a Galaxy S8 issue. Has anyone else had similar problems? I also have a PIA VPN account, and that seems to connect just fine through their app. On the server side of things it seems to be that I'm getting an error about the LCP sending config request and them timing out

Has anyone tried and/or successfully gotten the VPN setting to work to connect to their VPN? I use it to connect to my home VPN on all my other devices (Galaxy S4, S7, Note 10.1 2014, iPhone 6's, etc) and connects just fine on those devices, but won't connect (unsuccessful message) on the Pixel 3 Unlocked version. I've never had an issue with any other device and they are all still working fine. I have done all the usual power cycling and what not, and I always just use the normal default PPTP VPN settings (nothing advanced). I'm on the December 5th Security Patch.
There's been another thread about this. Don't know what they concluded, but I use PIA VPN and it works fine with my Pixel 3.
Can someone help me. My Ethernet Internet is not working on my oneplus. The setup is working with my other phones, which indicates that the setup doesn't have any issues. There is some issue with the oneplus Nord Ethernet connectivity. Can someone help me how to fix this:crying:
I've had a similar issue. After upgrade to 10.5.9 on the Nord, Mobile Data does not work anymore. Wifi works fine, but no network connectivity on mobile data. Tried multiple restarts and a factory reset as well.
And of course, I cannot downgrade to 10.5..5 since that is not officially allowed...
