I got a problem is the memory always leave few MB after some usages in my WM6 Atom Life. I used OxiosMemory to reclaim the ram but the memory is still low (under 10MB). Does anyone have idea on this?
Hii, Dears;
I've Jiayu G4 Basic with ROM 20130620-163509..and also I have some boring problem.
The problem is self reboot (crashing) very often.Phone is on use just for several months and I did not change any of original ROM, settings etc.
Rebooting happens when the RAM usage approach to the 800MB or above so I suspect main reason of problem is insufficient of RAM.
On the idle mod usually 500 MB or above RAM is occupaying (Is it normal) and when I opened two-three more apps then phone crashes.
Dou you have any experiences about this problem?
BTW sorry for my poor English
Regards
Out of desperation and after a long search, I found at a German help site that by disabling daydream mode in display settings, one could avoid lag and freezing on the Shield K1 Tablet, so decided to give a try. http://www.android-hilfe.de/thema/shield-k1-hat-immer-wieder-freeze.768667/page-2#post-9856744
Tested on Stock update 4.3.0, CM13 and Bliss 6.4, both pyro and replacement, after disabling daydream, lag and freezing are significantly absent. Although I did a dalvik cache and cache wipe, I found out that on a secondary user with daydream active, the lag and freezing still persisted, but once disabled, went away.

Tested on the Nvidia stock update 4.3.0 that corresponds to android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) with 1 July 2016 security patch level. It's the latest stock ROM.
Didn't test on stock updates 4.0-4.2 (all MM).

This worked pretty good for me!
One month update: the original shield tablet is behaving nicely after disabling daydream.
Haven't noticed any slowdowns or sluggishness so far, and received positive feedback from the geforce forum users as well.
I also had lag & freezing. Disable daydream and still had problems.
The way I fixed my problem was to move all my apps to internal storage. I have a 128 GB UHS SamDisk SD card but it wasn't reading ahead fast enough.
Posting this cause it may help someone else.

Given the very limited storage the wifi model provides, I've had a lot of issues with SD cards. In this regard, since lollipop I gave up on using the SD as app storage. What I can say is that, even though I keep at least 2 gb of free internal storage, and had been using greenify on aggressive mode, it was not until I disabled daydream that my experience with the shield tablet was normal.
And every time I re-enable it, it lags to death.
Hi all,
I am using 7.1.1 software version. Especially while I open the instagram, pictures are displayed very late. I have heard before this problem causes to android 7.1.1 because there are lots of network connection problems for this version. Will xperia xz get 7.1.2 version or this problem fix?
Thanks a lot.
I updated my redmi note 9 pro max to android 11 on june 25th 2021 by a normal OTA update and after that update the wifi speed has decreased drastically on my phone.....the mobile network works fine but the wifi is now at 30-45% of its initial capacity. every other device on my router has the max bandwidth. i reset my phone for like 10 times....but this issue persists....... does anybody else face this? if yes then what can be the way to fix it?
I'm pretty sure your issue isn't caused by the OTA you flashed.
What frequency band is used when you establish a Wi-Fi connection, 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz ?
