I had a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7105 and used to flash custom ROMs and they worked smoothly.
I just got a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100, rooted it, installed TWRP Recovery and flashed nougat 7.1.1 and Gapps successfully. But phone says "SIM card missing/SIM card not detected". I put my phone to Airplane mode and rebooted it but didn't work.
I have tried on Marshmallow 6.0 too and I get the same problem.
IMEI is unknown.
When I try checking IMEI from dailer, it closes unexpectedly
I restored backup of current modem and EFS Partition but it still didn't work.
Everything works fine when I restore my current ROM.
What should I do to get my SIM card showing on CUSTOM ROM's?

I bought a used note 5 T-MOBILE 64 GB that was unlocked yesterday. My sim card was working fine. I installed TWRP recovery by ODIN and after installing it my phone boot-looped. So, I installed "no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip" file and rooted the phone with "BETA-SuperSU-v2.68-20160228150503.zip". After that the stock rom booted fine but I the phone turned on it gave the error that non-carrier sim was inserted and the sim did not work. I tried formatting the phone. Installed the nougat firmware updated it and the problem still persistes. Is there any way to remove Network lock? I would appreciate your help greatly

You use the app in the T-Mobile folder to unlock

I broke my G920F modem and EFS. Going through the threads I found somewhere it said I should make a backup and restore it. If I restore a backup I made after breaking it, only one SIM card works in the phone. Any other SIM card says "No SIM card" but when I remove the SIM tray the phone prompts for a restart.
Flashing stock firmware causes the phone to lose IMEI and it won't connect to mobile networks. It can, however, detect the SIM card. Once I restore the EFS/IMEI folder it reverts to not detecting SIM cards.
If someone can provide a solution to this problem? Or if you could provide a TWRP modem/efs/radio backup that I can restore onto the phone via recovery.
