Best ROM for Xperia M2 LTE - Sony Xperia M2

Hello, I'm searching the best ROM for this phone.
It's need to be stable, fast, no lags, any response?
Thank you

I have tried this one https://forum.xda-developers.com/xp...nt/rom-cyanogenmod-14-1-developement-t3518598 it is stable and camera works.

I will try this one, if this one isnt stable (for me) im gonna search another one. Thnaks!

for me its cm1401 the latest one from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/xp...nt/rom-cyanogenmod-14-1-developement-t3518598

omni 7.1.2, best of all.

In my opinion the best is stock 5.1.1 with Z5 Style mod. In my case 7.0 and 6.0 both had issues

i agree with you even when i was say its cm14.1 before

as i know omni rom is for single sim right?

Im downloaded every ROM you guys suggested and I choose...
OmniROM 7.1.2 is the winner!
I was testing it and it wasnt laggy. Full perfomence + rooted and added some mods.
On 2nd was CyanogenMod and LineageOS 14.1 (tested 15 too but its in Alpha)
And 3rd was Stock with some mods and Ressurection Remix.
Thank you for helping

great.so you are using OmniROM 7.1.2 rom now? i know its working for just one sim card right?is there any way to make it working in both sim?

Yes, im using OmniROM at this moment.
Yes its working just for single sim
I thing its impossible for dual sim, you can always send pm to developer and check
But you can flash but im not sure if its gonna detect card. I tking it can detect one but not two

hmmm ok i see...thank you

[Q] What should I do after CrDroid kitkat?

Hi guys!
I've been away from installing new roms for a while, xt1032 8gb single sim, currently on crdroid kitkat version.
I want to install some 5.02 rom, but I don't know which one. Could you recommend some for a daily driver, non-gamer user, camera good, gps working, xposed working?

i've got two reccomendation
personal preference : android ice cold project
it's up to date with sources, and also adds some features like integrated supersu, slimlauncher, theming engine, and fully customizable quick setting
or if you want to go along with the mass, just use official cm12
though i've yet to try xposed with both of them, i don't want to risk it, since the creator of xposed said that it's still in alpha and therefore may or may not contain unforseen bugs.
I think I'll go with aicp
One more thing, if I make a crdroid nandroid backup from cwm, will I be to go back with cwm restore if I'm not satisfied with aicp?

Fully stable custom ROM

Hi guys, I've been researching for a fully stable custom rom, but I could'nt find one. Does someone knows if there is one out there that I missed.? Preferelly AOSP or CM based.
- I've tried mokee rom and even that it is marked as stable on their website its buggy (Bluetooth not working).
Update...
This is my list of all the rom's that I personally tested and are stable by the moment:
[*][ROM][UBER][5.1.1][UNOFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 12.1[STABLE] - Low mic isssue
[URL="https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-4i/development/rom-t3218133"
[ROM][Ferrari][CarbonROM][5.1.1][2015-10-04][/URL]
Thank you for your comments, all are apreciated.
For now Iam using lineage 14.1 build and its working fine for my daily use, the not working part is only flashlight and fm radio, check the thread for the workaround. Before using lineage build Iam using cm 14.1 its working fine too.
i use Pixel ROm, it base on Cm 14.1 so far it good and stable for daily use. the bug is FM radio, MTP and flashlight, but you can fix flashligt problem by your self here and for the MTP problem you can fix here
Don't you ever trust mokee
They don't even have a maintainer , it's mean they don't have this phone to test a "thing"
Try AICP Nougat Nightlies. They are working very stable for me with optimized battery and everything fixed. Only for flashlight you will hae to do a soft reboot. This is the most stable custom ROM I've use till now. I think once they release a STABLE build, I would permanently flash that and never switch to another ROM.
Thank you all for your inputs, my idea is to create a list of each ROM and it's bug´s (if exists).
Right now Im using Carbon Rom and it seems to be stable, I had a problem with the initiall setup but I think it was my fault (I forgot to wipe data). I'll let you know if something else happens. :good:
I am using XOSP ROM (6.0.1), only problem I am having right now is the Flashlight, others (bluetooth, hotspot, dual sim, wifi e.t.c.) working quite well. I have tried other ROMs but there was battery quick draining issues, however there is no such issue in this ROM. You can try this ROM once.
I use crDroid maintained by Anand.. https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-4i/development/rom-crdroid-7-1-t3523948
One of the best ROM for Mi 4i after MIUI. Using for the past one month.

ROM for Huawei G620s

I am looking for a stable ROM for my Huawei G620s. Until now sitting on CM12 and CM13 even then it was ok, but needs something better. I tested the official LineageOS and Mokee with android 7 but have numerous bugs. In LineageOS camera is not working and the flashlight, and in Mokee microphone and speaker during the call.
Is there any working rom with android 7 for this phone?
Alternatively, some other stable ROM with long battery life

This gets asked for all devices, all the time. You'll get the same answer everyone else does.
You will have to do like everyone else, try several or even all of the ROMs for your device and decide for yourself which one you prefer, find one that fits YOUR purposes, what someone else thinks is best may not be what is best for YOU.

Best ROM for D6603 (UB)???

Hy guys, i recently unlocked my Bootloader and tried new Lineage Os 14.1. Its awesome but there are few bugs i cant live with, so im searching for best stable rom for unlocked bootloader untill they make stable 14.1.
Can someone recommend any good rom? Also shoud I restore drm functions after flashing or not? Thank you for your time
@nailyk 's LineageOS is the most stable 14.1 rom that I have seen in our xperia z3 forum. If you want 14.1 rom use develop. prev. or use lineage os.

You know that Dev Preview Rom's aren't even Android 7.0 (proper one)?
They are actually Android N and most of modifications for 7.0/7.1 won't work on those.
So keep that in mind.
@mancycro I'm curious though, what type of bugs you encountered, which kept you from using LOS 14.1?
Well rom will be amazing after getting stable release. Worst thing is slow charging, 4 percent per 20.. Wifi doesnt autoconnect to network, and latest bug i experienced : phone reboots during night, probably due to overcharging. Otherwise its great. 60k on antutu

Ok, then we have a different idea of bugs, we can't live with
Besides the autoconnect bug, the overcharging is handled by an app for me (we'll see if reboots are gone),
and the slow charging gets better with time for me.
Hope they fix those bugs so you can enjoy it as well
Hi! Does that OS you guys discussing about has working camera?

Yes and it's quite similar to stock actually. Best camera quality I've seen so far for custom ROMs on the Z3
Omnirom has official weekly for z3 d6603! Android 7.1.2! I have not infomations for this last build!
Anyone??

What Stock-based ROM are you still using (2018)?

Just got a spare Z3, and since this device has been quite inactive on developments and such, the most preferred route is to stay stock for stability.
Now, I looked on our Android Development section and there seems to have a couple of stock-based ROMs which are good, and now, even in 2018, I was wondering what stock-based ROMs you guys are still using?
Any bias comments are welcome as long as it's spoken through experience. Also, a combination of Stock-based ROM a Custom Kernel would be nice to hear as well, if you use those.
Thanks guys for noticing~
:good:
Ever heard of OFFICIALLY supported
I use carbon Rom. It's supported officially.
And TWRP 3.2.1.0
Use gapps or mindthegapps
Updated weekly before. Now it's monthly.
No bugs, stable!!
0 problems in 2018
With that firmware & hardware

Any ways to use cyberian camera on carbon oreo? Right now im using existenz on my z3c, everything is ok and it has tones of customizations i can recommend for z3 too. But the best rom for battery is still slimm rom. Whatever lets turn back to my question, only because it is not possible use cyberian cam on carbon oreo i will go for carbon nougat with xperia ui. Can you share your experience with snapdragon camera if you use oreo version?
i have djust used the default camera app that came preinstalled with the rom. as 3rd party apps arent as good as stock. And its really good enough.
and i dont like to use outdated roms still on 6.0 M
im a crazy chronic updater.

search in the Carbon or Omni Thread, someone posted magisk Modules for this
There should also be a guide in there for (regular) flashing this.
