Hi. How can i change my device name to another name so that it shows my given name in Facebook app active device tab?
My phone is rooted Emui 4.0.3 over android v 6.00 .
I tried with Build.prop editor & adb commands. Looking for a working suggestion.

I want to write an update script that will change the device id. I have a generic android tablet that has a device id that isn't unique (which I think it's causing the Market not to function properly)
I need it in an update script so I can set it for other devices, so an apk like Android Device changer wont serve the purpose here.
I found this link that shows how to change it using adb, I guess my questions are:
1- Can use these adb commands in an update script?
2- How can generate a unique id using update script?

I am new with Android phone just bought Samsung Galaxy GIO s5660. I want to know how can i change the default image set for unknown contacts/not listed contacts .
I am using android sdk means adb command. i have rooted my phone and now want to change my default blank pic of contacts .
Can anybody help me how to do it ???

Hi, i've MID 4.0 tablet pc its chinies version tablet. I'm face the problem in play store "your device is not compatible". I followed the the changing the DPI value, but in my tab "ro.sf.lcd_density" this code not available. and one more thing, I cant root my tablet. While i trying via root explorer it shows "Sorry test failed unable to run this feature on this phone" . Can you help me to fix this problem.

well, firstly make nandroid backup this is essential many people there have a big problem after rooting their device -if you use a tool that's not good for your device you have to enter recovery mode and restore your device to that working status you just saved previously
then you have to root your device in order to get access to system files take a look at these tools or find a custom rom already rooted for you device only ! never try roms not made for you device !
then try to manually enter this entry ro.sf.lcd_density in build.prop
this is a known problem to make Market apps to work on tablets
I have a rooted Bluestack 8.11.3116 (thanks to codelover). However I want to assign new values to each of the following parameters: GUID, MAC Id (Wifi & Ethernet), Devide ID (IMEI), Android ID. Note that these IDs can easily be found out by Android Device ID app. I want to change all of these (its like I install a completely new Bluestacks). Plz reply ASAP.
