I am really sorry for posting my request here.
I have read the rule that states not to post requests.
But, I really want a 32bit SlimKat ROM for a6000.
I am aware of other devices running official SlimRom that sport specs very similar to a6000 (lettuce & osprey to name a few).
However, no phone capable of running SlimKat - ported or official, has specs similar to a6000 (closest, I believe, would be Peregrine).
So, I am not asking for Official SlimRom support.
It would be a real honour if you would port SlimKat ROM to a6000 - Just once without any further updates or the like is more than enough.
I understand what is ask is more than just porting ROMs but this is my last hope.
I am really sorry.
If it is not possible to create a SlimKat for a6000,
would you please create one for a similar spec'ed phone?
There are numerous phones with similar hardware specifications -
Xiaomi Redmi 2, Samsung Galaxy J5, HTC Desire 510(EU Model), Moto G4 play, Moto G 2015, Moto E (2nd) (LTE model), etc.
So, if possible please port SlimKat to any one of these & I am sure some of our devs might be able to port it to my device.
Thank You.

One of my biggest gripes with KitKat is the crippled webview. A number of great browsers relied on webview, and delivered an unmatched experience with text reflow and configurable zoom defaults. In my attempt to get it back, I've compiled a CM11 with the older 4.3 webview.
I have the newer Moto G LTE, but unfortunately there are no custom roms yet so I have not been able to build one for my own device. As a result, I'm looking for users familiar with the flashing process and are willing to try this out and report back on how well it works on their non-LTE Moto G.
Some information and warnings
- Rom base is CM 11 KitKat 4.4.4 (Thanks CM Team, dhacker29, etc)
- This is for the non-LTE Moto G, aka Falcon
- Uses stock CM11 pre-built kernel
- updater-script has not been changed, so it should be the same flashing steps as the official CM11
- I do not have the regular Moto G, so I have NOT been able to test this myself
- You should be familiar with recoveries and have a proper backup of your device
- You will be doing everything at your own risk. I am not responsible if you end up damaging or bricking your device.
Just leave a reply and I'll get back to your with a PM with a link to download the rom.
bump! Still looking for someone to help me try this out.
Hi Storm, unfortunately I've not a moto g, but a lot of issues on my samsung galaxy s2 plus with webview. Chrominium works orribly on my device. Can you teach me to build CM11 with webkit for my device ?
Hope you agree
Best regards, Ricky

There is an unofficial CM11 build for Peregrine, you just need Shabbypenguin's device tree from Github
My device is running on kitkat 4.4.4 ......indian variant
Any given Device can have an AOSP (Android Open Source Project) Rom/Firmware. Either Developed by Google or by developers here on XDA. That would give you GPE experience even if that's not a Official GPE device.
Please post in [RC-FAQ] >> Frequently Asked Questions for Motorola Moto G [Updated : 2014/12/08] so that one of the experts for your device may be able to chime in.
Guys, I am new to this forum. My Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (7 inch) T231 is running on very old Android KitKat version 4.4.2. This is the last official OS update received. Many apps are not supported on this old android.
Please provide a stable Lineage OS version, ROM file link and whole process to install.
I will be ok with installing Lineage OS version 13 and above (i.e. Marshmallow 6 and above), which ever is most stable.
Thank you in advance.

Since you are new, a few words...
People may understand your request different, like one understands "is there some out there who can help me and how can I help..." and others may understand "give me that ROM, you are there to provide me stuff..." So better be slightly "overpolite".
Developers and development teams just share their work on XDA and improve it based on the feedback the users or other developers give them. We can be happy, that XDA is a big development hub and have to be very respectful. :good:
The Tab 4 is a very old device, in my case I just use it as a small power bank. Display resolution, RAM, system speed... however, developing may be suspended and you cannot expect newer custom ROM releases.
I will explain quickly because Galaxy tab 4 7.0 variants don't get support.
8.0 and 10.1 models have SD400 (msm8226) SoC, 7.0 has a Marvell for the wifi variant and an Exynos for 3G and LTE variants. And it's easier to work on qcom-powered devices
I'm gonna go ahead an do what nobody else here would and answer your question. And it indeed works because I did it just last night. Just follow the link below

Hello XDA! This is my first post.
So I currently own a Galaxy Tab E T560NU, and it's getting pretty old and could use a good refresh.
So I'm here to ask if anyone could make a One UI 1.0/2.0 port for this device? I've tried an unofficial LOS 17.1 port and it ran nearly smooth as butter.
Many thanks.
Mmm... is not possible (In my opinion) because the snapdragon 410 has had official support until 7.1 after that i didn't see a oreo or pie update for this SoC and only has support for aosp roms but no for TW
i had an A5 2015 (is not a tablet sorry for this example) and i didn't see TW oreo or TW one ui for those device only tw 7.1 but with aosp has android 10
It may be that this comment is not very understandable but for the moment it is what I know
good luck and sorry for my bad english
Hello everyone!
I have searched high and low trying to find the answers to my questions regarding a phone I have, which is a ZTE Blade S6 Flex (P839T60), but marketed as a Turkcell T60.
Here is some pretext about the phone: My uncle gave me this phone in order to help me with my frequent trips between Turkey and the USA. The phone is essentially stuck with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. Rather than invest in a new phone, I wanted to see if I can upgrade the phone's OS to something like Lineage OS or an equivalent. The phone was unlocked already, which allowed me to root it, and install TWRP 3.20. But I have run into some confusion concerning the Blade S6.
I understand that there are a few versions of the ZTE Blade S6; the standard P839F30, the Flex P839T60 (Turkcell T60), and the Plus (what ever that number is). I had attempted to flash Lineage OS 14.1, 15.1, and 16, using the ZTE Blade S6 P839F30 files, but TWRP aborted the attempts each time due to the phone model mismatch (P839T60 vs the file's P839F30).
My questions are these: is the P839T60 (Flex) the exact same as the P839F30 (standard)? Am I able to flash Lineage OS meant for the P839F30 onto my P839T60? If not, are three any other OSes available for my P839T60? Or should I just invest in a world phone?
Any help and advice will be appreciated.
Hi there, dunno if you're still interested in, we've just opened a request 3ad @ \e\ (a deGoogled android distro based on LOS) community:
