Hello all. I am having a very frustrating issue. I need someone who is familiar and could help direct me with the process to rooting the Acer Iconia One 10 B3-A30. There is a new update, but I haven't taken it because not sure if it would block the rooting process. I am a newbie with rooting. Search engines have not helped. I've searched here and no help either, just other people who seem to look for help in rooting with same device. How can it be that no one knows or wants to help? This XDA community is supposed to be the coolest website for all Android fans. ? I am willing to donate if I get the help I need to getting rooted. Thanks for your time to reading my post.

Hi
I have Acer BeTouch E130 with Android 2.1 installed. I want to know what is a better experience
1. Rooting the phone and then using custom ROMS
2. Updating the ROM to Android 2.2
In wither case, I would also request to know the procedure to do so.
Thanks

Hi guys,
I have used these forums for some time now and so far I am happy form what I have found so far.
The day has come when i had to register and ask a question that I could not find an answer to.
So my question is this:
Can anyone help me root my PRESTIGIO MultiPad Wize 3037.
As you might have guessed it is one of those low budget PRESTIGIO that you get form the mobile operator for re-signing your contract.
Here is more information about it:
Model number PMT3037_3G, Android version 4.4.2, kernel version 3.4.67.
Any suggestion would be welcome
Thank you in advance.
Hello again.
I don't like bumping old topics but I see that a lot of people have seen my question, but not a single reply. Any ideas and suggestions would be helpful.
Hello guys,
Need help to Root Acer Iconia A3-A20 with 4.4.2 android. Is there a guide to root my Acer tablet? One click prefered.
Thanx in advance
yea i'm in the same boat, tho did a lot of research and only found something from Russia, which I didn't feel like digging and translating at the moment to see. I asked acer customer support also, which they just relayed back some of the areas I already checked. So I emailed and am waiting for a response from oneclickrootif they are going to make a patch for the 4.4.2 or know of one and I suggest you ask them as well to get the ball rolling. Hopefully acer updates the A3-A20 to 4.4.4 sometime soon tho if you hear of any root patch for the 4.4.2 let me know and I'll do the same

Downloaded the file directly from the device, then transfer it to the device
Next install the app from the .apk source file
After the app is successfully installed on the device, launch it from the app drawer.
After it has launched, choose the option ‘Install Superuser’.
Next click on the ‘Exploit’ option.
After this the app will begin the procedure to root the device.
After the process completes successfully reboot it and you’re done.

Hi everyone, I'd like to start with.. Im desperate xD
I have 2 Iconia one 10(b3-a30) and for some reason after weeks and months of waiting and trying KingRoot PC and Kingo countless times including the most recent updates... I'm entirely clueless has to what's wrong... They are both up to date one of which is really close to OEM "bloated and mostly vanilla" and mine being as minimalistic as i could without loss of stability.
Would a hard reset and removing my sdcard try again with KingRoot do it? I just don't want to jump off the bridge just to end up where I am now....
I m open to ANY solution that can apply to my case... Please inquire for more information if necessary
I am following this post religiously please help me lol.
Sincerely, Jake Roy-Schryer.
And thank you
