Xperia weather widget

¿Someone knows how to put the xperia widget on our R ? I tried extracting the apk and installing putting it in system but nothing I'm on CM10.1 could somebody give me a solution? Is that I love this widget

Yes it is really nice!
But it won't work unless you install the Xperia launcher. You can search for it on xda. I'll also try to try to post the liks for you.

How to verify unlock and change system/ui language

I have an inspire 4g that is brand new and supposedly unlocked here. It is intended to be used on a gsm carrier in Egypt, the specific frequencies I do not know, nor am I interested. I would just like to know if anyone can help me establish if it is unlocked, as well as switch the language in the whole system to Arabic. I don't oppose root and flashing if need be, however it must be very reliable and stock like reliability if so, as it is going to someone who is not so tech savvy. Basically, is it a lost cause or is it plausible to easily get this thing working in a language they can read and keep it reliable?

That's a good question. Only thing I suggest is to flash a Rom that has your language already installed on it.

To verify if it's unlocked u must put in a sim and see if the device will place a call. I suggest u turn off device, put in sim, then reboot. That will let u know if it's GSM capabilities are unlocked

It is AT&T. It appears to coincide correctly with the frequencies that are used with the mobile carrier they intend to use, and I'll have a look at all the info you've provided, thank you!

You should know that this contains your imei number so it may cause big problems for you if it falls in other people hands

Wow had no idea, thanks for the warning I've never even heard of efs, guess I should've done research, it's taken care of now

You are welcome , yeah sharing your efs is very dangerous , it can be used in underground work by criminals as it will appear that you are the one doing those calls and you may get in trouble because of this.

anyone know who is stepping up after chainfires departure? i know i saw some names mentioned in the past, but cant think of who they were and google hasnt helped with this search

does nobody know who im talking about? there was a developer whose username was something like a persons name and initials who apparently was stepping up in a big way. No ideas?

yeah he was. And i know hes gone, i was just wondering who (if anyone) is stepping up to fill his shoes. I thought i read somewhere that there was a new up-and-comer that was trying to fill that void

i hope hes successful, cuz man... chainfire sure left some big shoes to fill. i could have sworn that i heard of a dev whose name was in this format "rj smith". Just his initials and a last name, but i cant for the life of me remember what it was
