Navbar apps on gr5 2017 - Honor 6X Questions & Answers

Hi every one.... I have a simple question.... Why i can't install navbar apps on my gr5 2017....
Please i need help!! ...

Unfortunately, EMUI doesn't support these kind of apps

Not getting Nougat update?

Hi,
I have just bought this phone. My firmware is FRD-L09C636B102. EMUI 4
I went into settings and checked for update, but it says no update available. What should I do to get Nougat update?

your device has official update to B131 right dowload it from official site and dload
then from there on B131 you will get the emui 5.0 update b360 or later

I went to the System Update, press on the 3 dots settings button and click on "Download latest full update"

It's cleaner, neater, and more attractive than EMUI4. However I read that EMUI5 has bad battery life especially on B380 firmware.

(HONOR 8) Is it safe to update via firmwaren finder?

Hi, I'm using my honor 8 on Android N (FRD-L09C432B360) and i just installed FirmwareFinder for the first time, i found out that the latest version for my device is B389. Is it safe to install or should i wait for it via emui system updater?

Its safe if the update is flashed through stock recovery.

yes ,op you have to wait for offical update ,sometimes frimware finder drives you you to NSD keys testing version .so be careful

II. To install:
1. Flash K5_Xposed_SDK24_arm64.zip
2. Boot into ROM and install XposedInstaller.apk
III. To uninstall:
Flash Uninstaller-20170719-arm64.zip
Download:

Wouldn't recommend flashing this for now.

It is unstable in AOSP/LOS ROMs. What more in EMUI.

HiSuite Not Connecting

So yesterday when i unlocked my phone's bootloader HiSuite won't recognize my phone anymore but it's detected by the computer and i can transfer data.
HDB is working , so is USB Debugging and still the phone won't connect to HiSuite , i even tried re-installing it on the phone and on the computer
It should be like this ... Adb in charging mode also enabled

There should be toggle to allow adb debugging in charging only mode...

You have to force update to nougat, using firmware finder app...or go to nearest service center for the update

i have root , how can do that. i'm very new to this stuff i had a galaxy s3 before which was so easy to manage and update

You just remove root and update
