Hi, can someone point me to a link where I can download the normal stock Galaxy S7 G930F so I can return my S7 back to the latest Android 6.1
Or O2 version..
Flashed my Galaxy S7 as my back Button stopped working ( Phone hasn't been dropped..) but have read stories of some people reporting this has happened with their S7's..
But I ended up with a German firmware luckly I could select English, but there was some german writing on a app...
I'm downloading what I have read to be a English firmware, but its taken ages... 7hrs as its on a slow download ( having a Broadband connection of 150MB... is just a laugh at this rate..)
I would be happy if I can get my hands on a S7 Firmware with less bloatware... so ideas and links plz ?
Thanks for any help guys.. :good:

Managed after a hour of downloading to get hold "G930FXXU1APC8_G930FXEU1APB2_XEU" and this has seemed to done the job..
Everything is looking great, although didn't fix my Back Button problem, I guess its a Hardware fault then..
Now I got the hang of flashing my S7, what other English Firmwares I can try out...
Any views of some good ones plz ?
Thanks..

Hello guys,
I bought my brand-new Samsung S10e this year in early July and I havent received any update since the January 2020 security patch, which I assume was installed when the phone was manufactured. I was wondering if there's any issue with my firmware or anything. I have seen some recommendations for firmware flashing, I am a bit freaked out about it as I have never done it and I dont want to brick the phone. Additionally my phone is the US variant (Snapdragon) and New Zealand where I live has Exynos for the Default, further convincing me that the phone might have no compatible firmware for where I live to receive updates. I also read that it is not possible for Snapdragon to be rooted and so I was wondering if I could get comfirmation as to whether or not I could use custom ROMs. Any help, suggestions, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated, I am desperate for anything.
Phone model number: Galaxy S10e SM-G970U 128GB
Thanks in advance
If you need a reference for comparison to the US T-Mobile version https://doc.samsungmobile.com/SM-G970U/TMB/doc.html

Your best option is to download SamFirm 5.0 and download SM-G970U1 firmware XAA code. Youll get updates then. Search how to use SamFirm and tutorial how to flash with patched Odin.

Are you sure that I use the SM-G970U1 firmware and not the SM-G970U firmware, I just really don't want to screw it up, is there a link you could send so I'm not installing viruses? Thank you
Need a little help just bought a s8 plus and to my amazement it's a snapdragon version only problem is the phone wont do a software update and says I'm on the latest but its stuck on April 2019. I'm in the UK with a UK network so don't know if that's a problem or I'm willing to go the custom rom route hope someone comes back with some advice

Search for your model on places like samfrew or sammobile to download the latest firmware and install it via Odin.

Sorry brother, updates to s8+ are released in 2021 but seems like you have not got any. Only if you manage to get pc, you'll be able to install them.
