Simple launcher based on aosp launcher3 following Enrico's style!
DEPRECATION
I tried this and love it, you deserve a bump for sure. Great as a lightweight alternative to Lawnchair. Icons and hiding apps are what i care about most, and this performs better than AOSP. I left a review on my Google account; only thing I would like to see improved is none of the primary theme colors have enough contrast with the accent color applied. I explained a little better in my review, but other than that, it's perfect.
Surprised this isn't getting more attention. Lawnchair's hot, and deservingly so, but it's heavy on lower ram phones and a lot of it's focus is on incorporating all the cool fancy Google/Pixel stuff . Yours is great, light , improved AOSP version, which is equally as appealing to me. Thanks for this..
sure looks very promising!
keep up the good work :good:

LaunchEnr 1.4.1 released (will be available on playstore soon)
CHANGES:
Fixes to theme
Fixes to source code
Simplify hidden app implementation
I honestly had a very low expectations on this, but that expectations was immediately gone after I tried the launcher. It's actually very good and well-done.
While it is slim on features, I still find it customisable enough. The ability to hide apps is a great addition to cut down the clutter in the drawer. The "Board" feature, while a reminiscent of the "Shelf" on OnePlus' Launcher, is very useful for taking quick notes and a much quicker speed dial replacement.
tl;dr It's an amazing launcher even though it is still in early stage of development
LaunchEnr 1.4.2 released (will be available on playstore soon)
CHANGES:
Fix edit icon dialog not showing update icon packs list when icon pack is removed/installed
LaunchEnr 2.0 released (will be available on playstore soon)
Since there were many changes a reinstallation may be needed!
CHANGES:
New: Badges + NotificationView
New: Numeric badges
New: Adaptive icon (android O)
New: Custom app (board)
New: toggle board items
New: about section
New: changed some icons
New: allow rotation
Improvement: Use a colored circle with letter when the frequent contacts has no picture
Improvements: Theme
Improvements: Icon pack support simplification
Improvement: Show icon pack icon while loading and icon pack label in IconChooser
Improvements: just removed app compat library so the apk size is reduced
Fix: reset icon and edit dialog icon
Remove info drop target (there's already one in icon popup)
Won't open on Pixel XL 8.0
Sent from my Google Pixel XL using XDA Labs
If there are custom column number customization, it would be perfect, as I got this huge phone on me, and I don't feel good for seeing only 4 columns which made icons on my phone looks really big.
Nice app... Ability to adjust icon size would be nice.. it's too huge at the moment
Got bad review on Play Store. Force closed at first use.
Can you make the beta available in Germany?

Hello. We're the developers behind Clarus Battery. While we've seen moderate success, with the original app, we had a hard disk failure and lost most of the code along with the keystore we used to sign the app.
We're re-releasing the app with the original app name but a different package name (Clarus.Battery.rr). This is a significant re-write of our original code.
What is it?
Clarus battery is a minimal, transparent battery/temperature widget. The colors below Charge/Temp change based on their values from Green (Very Good) to Red (Bad).
Features:
- Background colors/alpha can be changed
- Text colors can be changed
- Launch apps from the widget
- 1x1 and 2x1 widgets
- Color themes for light and dark backgrounds
- Options to display/hide battery icon, health
- Option to show charging icon
Known Issues:
- Multiple widgets of the same size can't be added as of now. This will be fixed in a subsequent release
The app can be found in the market by searching for "Clarus Battery" or "pname:Clarus.Battery.rr". (I can't post external links as a new user).
The original app has been renamed to "Clarus Battery - OLD".
Others:
We really do appreciate the downloads we have seen thus far. A few users have wondered whether we accept donations. While we appreciate the sentiment, we're not doing this for the money. We'd much rather you donate to your favorite charity.
Thank you.
Best.
Could you please add option to remove (or make transparent) the horizontal line between charge and numbers. Really impressed though, still deciding between this and battery status text
Thanks
ooo this is pretty nice.

A few suggestions for the next update/release...
I've been using the "old" version until I saw this posted. Great minimalistic app and I really like the configurability it provides. Also, you were featured in the "Best Apps Of The Week" blog post over @ Android Police.
Just to offer a few suggestions for the next update...
- Allow a shadow option for the text
- Allow for custom horizontal line color choices
- Allow different color options for each text label (Charge | Temp)
- Allow different color options for each status display (Charge% | TempDegrees)
- Allow for the display of both/one/none for the Heath & Battery icons (Perhaps make the health appear over the Temp side and the battery icon over the Charge side when 'Both' is selected)
Also, can you explain what the "Themes" option actually does? I've selected both and haven't noticed a change in the widget at all.

And please do the same for Clarus Signal
Giving the Signal App the same option to hide horizontal line would be a great first step indeed

We should be able to add most of this in the next release. We'll have to figure out a better way to show multiple icons though (i.e. battery icon/ health). Allowing custom colors for the horizontal lines may have to be pushed back a little, but we do plan on implementing it.
The themes change the saturation of the colors of the horizontal lines and the battery icon. We added this option to ensure that the widget 'worked' with both light and dark backgrounds. The light theme works with light backgrounds and the dark theme works with dark backgrounds.

We're currently working on Clarus Signal and will be re-releasing this in the market soon. We've lost the code/keystore for this too.
We'll also create a new thread for Clarus Signal once we release the app.
Been using both Clarus widgets, and I love them. The only problem I have is that they do not align correctly with each other. Clarus signal's text and horizontal lines are higher then Clarus battery.
Other than that, loving them.

Update Added an APK that fixes Transparent Status and Nav on Android L. It does nothing else new over 1.3.0.
Retribution is a Launcher3 based launcher with the following new features:
- Workspace grid rows and columns are adjustable to 1 above or below the device default.
- Search Bar can be hidden. The work space expands to take up its space in Portrait or in Landscape if the Dock is also Hidden.
- Optional Dock with the work space expanding over the freed space when the Dock isn't present.
- Ideal Icon sizes are calculated automatically based on the work space configuration.
- Icon sizes are additionally adjustable to between 75% and 125% of the calculated size
- Icon pack support (all common types) with a selector that shows a sample of icons from each installed pack. (Based on the Widget Selector)
- Folder Color customization. (Choices between grey opaque, black opaque, grey translucent, black translucent, and the default White.)
- Choose between the old black folder icon and the new white.
- (unsupported) Optional landscape orientation on phones.
- Support for Android 4.0.3 and 4.1 in addition to the 4.2+ Launcher3 supported. (note there are slight differences, unrelated to my new features on those versions. See the Play Store Listing for details.)
I do not try to duplicate the Google Now features in the Google Now Launcher. That can't be done well in a way that offers anything over existing ways to use Google Now. I have ideas for the Custom Page that Now occupies in that Launcher but haven't started that yet.
Available for Free from the Play Store below, or through the attached APK.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nbehary.retribution
New in 1.3.0 (Free)
Bug Fixes (apply to both Free and Pro)
- App Drawer Sort menu now properly displays the current sort method.
- Sort method is saved and preserved.
- Grid changes should always take effect now. (They weren't sometimes)
Also, there's a paid ($2.49) Pro unlock Key which adds the following:
- Applications can be placed in Groups used to filter the App Drawer (and other) display.
- Workspace folder colors can be set individually. (except for the icon, which if colored, always uses the set system background color)
- The work space grid is adjustable to between 2 and 12 rows and columns.
- Icon and Label sizes are adjustable to any value (well, any above 1dp/sp)
- Folder colors expanded to allow any of the 3 folder components (Icon Labels, Folder Name, and Background) to be set to any color.
- Quickly scroll through the App Drawer, Widgets, and Icon Packs by swiping the Page Indicator in each.
- In addition to the normal black or white, folder icon backgrounds can be colored to match the folder background color.
Available here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nbehary.retribution.pro_key
New in 1.3.0 (Pro)
- Folder contents can be changed via a dialog listing installed apps. (This list is filterable by group as well)
Bug Fix (Pro Only)
- Prevented a crash when Quick scrolling in Widgets.
Here's a video showing everything (Free and Pro):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEevheelqWo
Very good launcher, maybe it could be more simple.
I like grid adjustment option of this launcher. But which I dislike most of launcher 3 is few second delay of appearing and disappearing of application drawer. Can developer focus on this issue?

What device? I've never noticed any real delay. If possible I am interested in addressing an issue like that.
Correction, maybe. I've assumed my phone is just slow which it is, but there are cases on it where it does take overly long that may be something else. (I can't recreate on the 2013 N7, but it that's not surprising.) I'll investigate that.

More Themed Icons (Android 12)
On Android 12, you can only change apps' themed icons to icons already in the Pixel Launcher. You can add more icons to the launcher using Magisk modules that provide an overlay, such as this one.

From the FAQ:
Q: Can you implement X feature?
A: Probably not. This app works off modifying the already available files - not the app itself. Whilst there are some mods you can make by editing the Shared Preferences (such as enabling/disabling the Google search bar in the app drawer, changing the top row of apps in the drawer and enabling the "bounce" animation), they get reset every time the launcher loads, so are useless. I can't implement icon hiding, grid size changes, overlapping widgets, or any of your other favourite custom launcher features - use a proper custom launcher for that

Currently you have to do it one by one in the app, or clear the data of both Pixel Launcher and this app (will reset your homescreen layout too). I plan to add a "reset all" option for the next update though

Dang! That sucks.
Additionally, there are a lot of bugs with applying icon packs. Example: I applied an icon pack, but not all of the icons were skinned. Example #2: I tried applying a different icon pack and it just didn't work. So, yeah.
Thanks!

This is probably down to the way the app works. It uses a highly experimental method of running Java code as root, so it's buggy. You may have to apply the icon pack a couple of times for it to work.
In terms of it not applying to all icons, which ones aren't skinned? Are they adaptive icons? If so, you need to either apply them manually or enable the option to apply to adaptive icons in the app's settings. This is disabled by default because 1.) adaptive icons are usually fairly well themed already, unless you're going for a totally different style and 2.) when their icons are changed, you get a glitched overlay when they're long pressed

Where can I see your last commits on the github? The option of hiding the search in the dockbar is cool, I want to cherry pick it, but your github is not updated

•Open Samsung theme store and keep it running in background.
•Just Install the APK as a normal app
•Open Samsung Theme Store
•Click on Apply Trial(dont worry, it 100% Free
•After like 10mins, your device should show Not Responding Error for Theme Store, just go ahead and don't worry!
•Enjoy!
Troubleshooting
If theme isn't appearing in theme store- Turn on Internet amd open the theme store from settings before installing and then reinstall the apk
If SystemUI stops and screen goes blank..... It is probably because you didn't read the NOTE in the 1st post. Just go to safemode by holding to power off button and then holding the power off option. Then uninstall theme from Samsung themes and now reboot. Use the common version of the theme (see the GDrive folder)
It would have been better if you post Screen Shots too.

(ISSUE MAY OCCUR)THEME NOT SHOWING ON THEMESTORE AFTER INSTALL:
1. Open theme store first before install, after install press "done" and home button, open Theme Store from Settings APP not from Recent panel or Home shortcut.
2. Install theme apk 2-3 times
3. Install other theme from the store BEFORE or AFTER installing mine, if still now showing..
4. forget about this theme and move on.
I like the colors overall but not a fan of the keyboard.
Fantastic theme. Notifications could not be clearer? For me it is unreadable
Thank you thank you thank you for this! I love the theme. Two things stand out though.
1) for some reason not all notifications are the same colour. Is this a per app issue of some sort?
2) the screen buttons have become ginormous for me. How can I change em?

I'm having a similar problem with gmail notifications. When condensed it's fine but when I expand it, it's extremely light as shown in the pic above.
And secondly, same as above, Nav bar needs different options, this is too big/distracting.
Other than these I'm absolutely loving it. Any place I can donate?
I am currently using the Samsung Neural Keyboard (Beta), which is basically the normal keyboard (GUI-wise) with added internal functionality.
Could you please add the ring for this as well?
It should be fine with the normal theming of the Samsung Keyboard
Thank you for the effort and the theme
