Is there a PureNexus version of (m4b30z) room for Nexus 5? - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am searching for PureNexus rom for my Nexus 5 , based on the stock rom: m4b30z .
I tried the 7.0 version , somehow ,after flashing it, on the setting up page, it kept asking for inserting a nano Sims card.. but Nexus 5 runs off micro SIM card...
I tried reinserting the sim card, but it doesn't recognizes sim card .
So, I had to flash back to the stock room, and everything works fine.
But the stock rom, m4b30z drains battery too fast. For example, I charged my phone to 100% before bed, next day, it was down to 20% when I woke up.
I was also having issues with rooting and flashing the custom recovery . It would go through but after rebooting few times, phone just doesn't boot into twrp anymore, it just shows a dead Android
- I disabled most of the bloatware came with the stock rom, like Google doc, etc.
- it doesn't let me install ADAway.apk unless it's rooted. :/
- phone was having an issue getting LTE after rooting and installing other custom kernel...on the stock rom.
So I'm hoping to find a PureNexus ROM based on the lastest stock rom and hope that my serivce would work. (Get it rooted and with custom recovery. )
- phone service : Sprint.

Damaged Nexus S 4G?

Phones been running fine. Have had it for a few months. It's been unlocked and had ROM mngr on it, but never installed any roms to it.
This past saturday while in NY, it was setting on a coffee table for most of the day. I picked it up from the table that night to head out to dinner, it was overly hot. the table is no where near sun or heat. i powered down the phone because the heat made it difficult to use. when i powered it back up, it didn't want to boot. I got the Google loading screen with the padlock, thats it. about 20 min later, it finally booted up and has run fine since then.
Until today. It didn't get hot, but it started running so slow, i couldn't do anything.
longer story short, it will not mount the sd card in recovery mode. I've tried taking this back to stock incase i had to take it into the sprint store. But when rebooting from the recovery mode, it won't always boot. i may have to pull the battery out upwards of 20 times and pwr it back on before it actually boots up and logs into the phone for use.
i was finally able to get the phone relocked. it has the stock rom on it, as it always had. but now i cannot get the stock radio because it refuses to mount the sd card. so in my apps drawer, there is the super user icon. i do not remember this coming with super user at all when i got it.
if the sd card fails to mount (can't even format it from the recovery menu due to not mounting) how can i flash the stock radio back so i can get this replaced?
im still trying to figure out what caused it to get so hot. again, nothing other then the stock rom was ever put on it. so there was no over clocking.
i can't afford a new phone, so i need to make sure that sprint store will swap this out with a new one and not give me the run around.
You should try flashing a kernel 1st
I had the same problem.
Even my screen would get: incredibly hot I flashed a kernel and was good to go
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using XDA App
will that work with the sd card not mounting?
and i've searched here and google, all stock kernels are no longer available for download.
kernel sir flash a new one...and also try to flash a custom rom unlock the phone again and flash the CW using fastboot then from there flash a new rom

unreadable sim card

as i allready saw there are bunch of questions regarding ureadable sim cards and not much of them have an answer. please dont post and say to take my phone to the store and ask about warranity because i just installed custom rom and by that it lost it warranity. the problem is that the phone showed sim card for the first run and now it doesnt. i installed hypersensation cm7 rom and im so scared ill lose such a good phone. there are some screenshots of teh phone and it all went well on the installation.
That problem may be with ROM.. for me also it happen in i9000 while installing ICS alpha build 7 i was able to make calls. but then after flashing Beta 1 , i was not able to make calls, it was saying SIM pin locked. then came back to Stock Firmware. Problem solved then after even if i Flash Alpha 7 it was not detecting my SIM card. you may need to Flash Stock FM Once.

Custom ROM Flashing Problems

Good day to all, ya'll have changed things a bit it appears since my last visit. Okay I don't know what is going on as I have flashed hundreds of ROM's without issue and this morning Im seeming to have all kinds of issues. Sprint Galaxy S4 rooted and Flashed for Straight talk network. I am having some kinds of problems and am not able to flash any custom ROM's. Ive tried flashing GPE 4.4.4 and Super S4 ROM and Im getting a Footers Wrong error, error #7 and Signature not verified error and then it will reboot back to the stock firmware. So being my bright self that I am I toggled the signature deal in Clockworkmod and flashed it again and the phone rebooted and started up in GPE, but I could not get a data signal nor would it allow me to even turn on the wif-fi. and now Ive got it bricked and hooked up to odin. Any suggestions, comments, beatings or there of the likes. lol thanks guys yall are great.
Custom ROM Issues
Okay good day once again....Okay the phone has booted up completely and with GPE 4.4.4 or what I assume is GPE. I have no service to the device what so ever, but it does saying preparing network in the task bar and has been saying that for 20 minutes now, I still can not turn on Wifi. When I go to about device it says the following Software Version - Unknown Hardware Version - nothing Android Version 4.4.2 Baseband Version- unknown Kernal Version 3.4.0-216929 [email protected]#1 Wed Jul 9 09:03:50 2014 Build Number - SuperS4-1.5(which means it isn't GPE it is Super S4 ROM, which is cool especially since one of your guys I think built it) and everything else their looks normal to me. So any feed back on this post please. I have to be at work in a few hours and can not do without a phone ....
Hello...! I have some questions to you.... Do you try to flash a custom rom from recovery right....?
And it says "status 7 error"?
I think the reason for this is that you are trying to flash a rom that does not match with your phone or it's not singed...! For example you are trying to flash a rom for Samsung Galaxy S 4 GT-I9500...
Difficulty installing a custom ROM on samsung galaxy S4. Pls help
Pls am having difficulty installing a custom ROM on my Samsung galaxy S4 GT-i9500 Verizon. I have already installed a custom recovery(clockworkMod 6.0.4.7) and the phone is rooted. But each time i try to boot into recovery mode this is where am stuck. i cant seem to find the custom ROM i want to flash i mean the zip file cant be seen and its already donwloaded in my phone. I have some custom ROMS already in my phone for flashing but i cant seem to see the zip file in recovery mode. I took a screenshot so you can tell me what the problem is. Thanks

Fiddled around with USCC Galaxy S6: Boot Loops, process com.google.process.gapps...

1. TWRP is up
2. baseband G920R4TYU2BOF7/HW version G9020R4.02
3. No Mods
4. Rooted
So I tried flashing the Vader ROM, I was getting boot loops at the language selection screen. I go back and restore from backups my original stuff. Boot back up and now I'm getting the lovely "process.com.google.gapps has stopped" error. I'm assuming that I may need to find gapps for 5.1.1? I also tried flashing XtreStoLite ROM with the Aroma add on. Everything seemed to be working great with the exception of the data and no signal, which I am to assume is because I'm not using the correct carrier-specific stuff.
Go to download the stock ROM for my phone, and I keep getting an error as well. Odin won't flash it. One thing that I noticed is that the stock rom was 5.0.2 where when I got the phone 3 days ago it came with 5.1.1.
At this point, I'd like to be able to get it back to stock if possible. I jumped the gun and started flashing all sorts of things without checking to see if it would even for with a USCC galaxy s6. Any help would be much appreciated.
UPDATE: Problem seems to have resolved itself with the last restore. no more problems with gapps. However I am curious as to if any of these custom roms will work with a USCC variant

SimCard not detected after flashing any rom

I am using HTC desire 320 and used to flash many roms normally without any problems
then one day after i rebooted my phone when i was on cm13 rom (took off the battery and changed my sd card) the Sim card isnt detected.. i thought the problem from my sim and i tried it on other phones and it seems to be working so i tried to go back to stock rom to check and i found my sim is working fine
and from that day... whatever the rom i flash, the sim is not detected at all
tried different lollilops and marshmellow roms and the same problem kept happening to me
even the roms that they used to work fine a month ago now dont detect my sim (while everything is fine on stock rom)
I know this is really strange but if anyone have any idea how to fix that he can share it with us because i am kinda stuck like this in my stock rom... :/
(maybe there is some files i can backup from stock rom before flashing?)
It seems like something is wrong with ur root folder which no ROM can fix if flashed using custom recovery. Probably some files would've been corrupted. I'd suggest u to Flash the stock firmware(not taking about recovery flashable stock ROM) using PC.
