Viper4Android shuts down automatically - General Questions and Answers

Hello everyone I'm facing problems with viper4android. The app just shuts down on its own after I close the music app(when no music is playing) or when I unplug my earphones. I am using only compatible mode as the normal mode doesn't work and just shows Enabled:NO, Processing: NO. It worked with apps like youtube too but once viper stops, I can't find a way to get it working again
I'm using the blackplayer music app and yes viper is a system app
Please help

[Q] Bluetooth Audio - Play/Pause

Hi All,
Anyone use their Nexus S with Bluetooth audio much?
I use it in the car connected to a Parrot in car system, mostly for podcasts in BeyondPod and Spotify.
While I can use the play/pause button to stop playback (if I've started playback on the device itself), I can't use the same button to resume playback. No matter what I've tried so far, I cannot get it to work.
It's kind of annoying when I accidentally catch the pause button, and have to fumble around for the phone to resume.
I tried freezing the stock Music app to see if that was grabbing the bluetooth playback control from BeyondPod, but that didn't help.
Could it be specific to the rom I'm running, or is this a known issue with the way Android works right now?
Thanks for any info...

Unless there's something odd with your head unit then it's either an app or a rom issue. Play / pause / resume works fine for me over by with a stock rom foe the stock music player, slacker radio, audiogalaxy and audible.

works here also.....
Thanks for the replies. Sounds like it's worth some further investigation then. I'll flash stock and try a bit of trial and error.

So I tried flashing back to stock. Installed only Beyondpod and the same symptoms happened: pause ok, can't resume.
Then I installed Spotify, and found similar, although on one occasion pausing and playing Spotify caused Beyondpod to start. Only happened once though.
At this point, I'm thinking maybe the Parrot needs a software update. Especially if it's working OK for others.

Podcast App Causing Issues

I am using the app Podcast Addict.. love the functionality but it has been real buggy for me. If I listen to it using a Bluetooth headset it works fine all day.. if I listen through the phones speakers or connected to my car audio with the headphone jack things start getting weird..
1) If I receive a Facebook notification (or any notification that produces a ringtone) the app audio stops, app becomes unresponsive, no phone apps will work, Process System FC message comes up, phone reboots or I have to force a restart with vol up/power.
2) Listening to podcast, I turn off the screen and about 2 minutes later I cannot turn the screen back on. Phone becomes unresponsive but audio still plays.
All of this only happens when using this podcast app.. I know most people will say to just use another app but I really want to know whats going on because my phone has been flawless up until this issue. I have a log cat of this issue if anyone can help.. I contacted the dev and he sent me a debug version of his app.. problem happened and he did not get any error reports. Not sure if the app is causing some system anomalies or what. q

Issue regarding Music Player

Hi Guys,
I am using Honor 6X 64gb/4gb varient since 5 days and encountered an issue regarding music player today.
The music player stops sound (volume becomes zero) after I have played any song for 3 minutes. It shows its playing the music as the progress goes ahead but there is no sound.
I checked this with 3rd party music players but this issue does not take place with them. The issue arises only with stock music application.
I have searched over forum and also found one unanswered thread on club.hihonor.com.
I also tried clearing data and cache of stock player but no luck.
Could you please help me in this. Thank you in advance!
Regards,
Sumedh

Audio Statttering and lagging

Hello
I have a serious problem that's gonna drive me crazy,
When I play a song on any music player app at it statter and lag every 3 sec, same issue with recorded voices or videos from youtube also local video in my device, also video or audio on the browsers, issue is happening with speaker, wired headset or wireless one.
My phone is redmi note 11, rooted with Lsposed.
the problem is not visible right after rebooting the phone but when any song/video is played after almost 10 sec it starts lagging and stattering even the volume control bar to increase or reduce the volume become laggy at same time when the played song lags, I have checked the battery optimisation and those app aren't optimized by it.
I tried everything disabling lsposed and it's modules same issue.
Unrooting the phone no changes
I removed all the app that I installed same issue and kept the default rom apps same issue
When I boot the phone in Safe mode the issue is not there and the music is played with no issue even the volume control bar doesnt lag.
Anyone has any idea or is there an app that monitor what's happenig that will help to discover the source of the probléme
