Hello, i hold power for 10 seconds and it got back to fastboot with volume up and down.
So i can basically use it.
I am using the twrp which is given here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/how-to/guide-unlock-bootloader-tested-root-t3443946
I have a Honor 8 FRD-AL00, now the problem is i can't get into twrp...

Hello, I have an Honor 6x, with unlocked bootloader, and wanted to install TWRP so I booted into bootloader
and flashed twrp.img via fastboot, but now everytime I want to boot TWRP it just shows the message:
Your device has been unlocked and
can't be trusted.

and then it is stuck in this state...
could I eventually boot into TWRP directly from bootloader via fastboot?
Please help guys, thanks in advance. :fingers-crossed:
What version of EMUI are you on? If you're on the 7.0 beta there isn't a working twrp for it.

Hello. Replying here as I don't need a new thread for a very similar issue.
Brand new 6x with EMUI 4. Unlocked bootloader successfully. Using adb/fastboot tool I boot into bootloader, then flash my twrp img. For some reason this goes fine with no errors but takes less than two seconds (cause for concern?).
Now from this point is where I am having trouble. Regardless of what I do, the phone only boots into the EMUI recovery screen. I am aware of holding the volume up key on the first boot after flashing twrp so that it won't be overwritten. I have rebooted the phone manually and also through fastboot while holding the volume up button.
In a new city and only internet I have is thru my phone so this process is really slow due to all the restarts etc. Thanks in advance for the help!

Same problem here. I have a Honor 6x (BLN-L21) with Nougat on it (Build BLN-L21C432B360), unlocked it with the unlock pwd and tried to flash the TWRP (twrp-3.1.0-2-berlin.img) with 'fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.1.0-2-berlin.img'. After that I get always the same message after reboot or if I try to enter the recovery mode.
Any suggestions?
Thank you
Hi there,
I have found it. To get the TWRP Screen I had to press all 3 Buttons (Volume Up, Volume Down and Power) at startup.
Hope this helps.
Sadly this doesn't work here, on a BLN-L21C432B130 with EMUI 4.x and Android 6.x
3 Button start method brings up always the EMUI recovery screen.
Power Button + Volume up Button works fine here with all TWRP versions up to 3.1.0-0, but never on a newer one.
Additional hint: It works only if the USB cable isn't plug into the device and if the phone was powered down before. That must me the reason why I never get that up, if I'm rebootin using the command $ fastboot reboot cause for this the cable connection has to be used
@all who stuck in bootscreen...flash THIS TWRP...
[LG G4 H815] Just need to reboot into recovery directly...
I have kinda the same problem: I flashed TWRP and a friend of mine told me that I need to reboot into recovery directly after flashing TWRP because otherwise the system replaces TWRP again when I type "fastboot reboot". The problem is I cant shutdown the phone and also the key combination of the LG G4 is not rlly working, I tried it dozens of times on my other one... Is there ANY other way of booting to recovery from bootloader / fastboot? Thanks in advance!
P.S.: I read something about "boot twrp.img"... Is that an option or does it just also flash TWRP?
How do I root my phone with magisk? I know how to install magisk, I just need to know which recovery I should use.

It says like that but recovery will be installed. So what you do is boot your phone with power button + volume up (or in adb terminal enter this command "adb reboot recovery") you will enter into twrp recovery. Than install supersu.zip placed in microSD card/USB than your phone will be rooted!
Hey guys, my Honor is in brick state. I pushed a rollback package while I was in marshmallow (but with wrong ROM, so I was trying to rollback again and retry the procedure) and the phone got stuck in Honor blue screen at loop.
It won't let me power off, it justs turns on again. All button combinations won't work apparently. I can't get to recovery or e-recovery.
I tried depleting the battery. But as soon as I connect to the charger, it powers on. If I try the button combination before putting charge, it also doesn't work.
After the first successful rollback to MM, I think the bootloader got locked.
adb and fastbook can't seem to list the device.
I can get to fastboot and rescue mode, but I don't know the procedure from there.
So, is this a unsolvable brick? Or is there anything else that can be done to save this phone?
Thanks a lot for your feedback.
use dc unlocker to flash unlock bootloader and after dc flasher

It's easy. I had a similar problem too. Just when your phone attempts to boot, hold the Volume Down button and immediately connect it to the PC (within 1-2 second). It should go into fastboot mode. Now, open Huawei Multi Tool and unlock your bootloader then use the tool to unbrick your phone, start with flashing stock recovery and then the correct firmware.

I flashed extracted and flashed images for B131 and B360, without luck. Stuck on the unlocked warning now: "Your device is booting now".
I can't seem to get to erecovery. Please let me know if you have any ideas.

If you're stuck on "Your device is booting now". This probably means your recovery is screwed. Don't worry, flash stock recovery and erecovery using Multi-Tool.
Then try the dload method. If the problem persists, then flash the correct TWRP then use HuRUpdater to flash the ROM you want. This will definitely fix the issue.

The recovery images from Multi-Tool servers seem to work! Thanks a lot. I was able to get to erecovery, now I'll proceed as decribed by you! :good::good::good:
Edit: dload failed at 99%, but I was able to factory reset and get to the system after all!

Hello.
I will tell you how.
First, unlock bootloader of course.
Get your twrp recovery file.
In command line (If cmd doesnt work do it in Windows POWERSHELL)
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
once finished
fastboot boot twrp.img
and after typing this just keep holding VOL UP.
Until screen is black for like 10 seconds press power button twice(or once) and twrp will show up

Can u please elaborate? After flashing i used fastboot reboot command and after just that by vol + button i entered in twrp but it will still replaced by stock after first boot.
I also did after flashing reboot to system from fastboot screen and then try to boot via vol.+ and power button but it will get replaced.

What I meant was, flash the TWRP again( this time try 3.3.1-5), once flashed power off the device, now try booting into TWRP, now boot to system and check if it still gets replaced...

Hold the power button for long enough and I personally think flashing 3.3.1-5 would fix this as some people have reported issues like this only after flashing to 3.3.1-6
