The final release of Oreo left the home screen on NP looking horrible, with a black back ground. I'm looking for an alternative launcher to colorize the UI. Any suggestions?
One of the reasons I went back to 7.1.2. HBOgo didn't play streams, no google chrome.
How are you able to roll back to Nougat and how do you stop it from updating again? thanks!
I just downloaded the stock Nexus player image for August 7.1.2. Unlocked and rooted with magisk. I might try AOSP 7.1.1 next.

right now I am not rooted, I just don't see any real benefits for a media player to have it.

Hello, thanks for a wonderful app.
If you could give us a quick comment on if/when Android M support is coming (currently getting a message about corrupt codecs) -- shortly or in a month or by the time of the official release I'll be much obliged.
Thanks again!
It will be ready soon! Im sure about that!
Hope it will be resolved soon. Cant see myself going back to lollipop after trying M.

same here. loads up, starts to play the movie, loading and buffering (isee the data transfer), but no playback. first time i've actually used it on this device though, i've only tethered with it before. works fine on my verizon nexus 6.
i'm rooted, deodex, and with beastmode kernel.
Just tried Netflix this morning, same deal, just buffers forever.
I'm rooted, running stock deodex with beastmode kernel.
Anybody without root tried Netflix?

I'm not rooted and I get the same thing.
Downloaded an older version from the Netflix website and it works fine.
They say it's for the "Galaxy Tab 10.1". This will work for now until they fix the problem.
Seems like Netflix was recently updated and is still not working.

I think it deals with tripping Knox's and flagging the device, so it may never effect other device's besides Samsung. I haven't notice issues with other devices outside of Samsung. It may also be something with the latest Lolipop.

Ah ok.
Off topic, but I wanted to use some of their inverted apps but most of their apps are older versions of Google Apps.

They get around to updating them. Just takes a little while as the playstore is constantly updating. To me their work is worth the wait. I prefer that to the minute updates that are normally provided by google.

Easy fix after root. Use a root explorer and go to /system/lib/liboemcrypto.so. Rename the "liboemcrypto.so" file to "liboemcrypto.so.bak" and you'll be able to stream netflix and use other video streaming apps. I take no credit for this fix. Credit goes to "chipworkz".

Hey guys and gals!
Android P is absolutely terrible and I can't believe I haven't checked it before updating. Now I heavily regret it I want to go back to Oreo - could you link me to some information on how to do this on OnePlus 6?

If I wanted iOS I would have bought an iPhone. The recent apps menu is garbage and a huge downgrade, the volume control is also awful. No to mention changes in the UI design that look worse than what we had with KitKat. Pie is a huge downgrade compared to Oreo.

You can simply download the OREO full rom and flash it as a local upgrade or if you have twrp, simply follow the steps to flash after wiping the system (not internal storage). Here is a link (see item number 3) for downgrade at the OP6 website. I have not tried it but should work

Can anyone confirm if this works? I too would like to downgrade. At least for the moment...
CapitalOne app currently doesn't work
Pandora lockscreen controls aren't there
Substratum without root is gone
Silent adjustment of volume bars no longer possible
3.5mm output volume is lower (on streaming apps)
Yes it works. I rollback from H2 os PIE to Oos Oreo 5.1.9 at that time.
Will Twrp get erased?/
If we try local upgrade option to roll back. Will I lose the Twrp?

Just one of many regrets I see
It's live, not sure what's different. Anyone having VoLte issues with Verizon? If I toggle it, it works until the radio state switches (reboot, or on and off WiFi). It always shows selected under settings but needs to be cycled to work.
Just updated. The multitask selection issue seems has been fixed.
multitask fixed, but now its telling me nova launcher cant use gestures and it added the 3 navigation keys to the home screen. mind you, i have already been using it half the day with gestures, the it stopped. wack!
i just noticed wifi-calling is not working. thats a BIG problem.

my wifi-calling mysteriously works now. seems the only issue is that navigation gestures dont work with 3rd party launchers, so using the crappy stock quickstep launcher

Just like the name implies, it's the Easter Egg when you go into Settings\About phone click Android version and then click Android version a few times fast. There's been one on every version of Android.
In this one, you can move the "Android" the "1" and the "0" around the screen and if you tap one and then tap again fast, you can make it spin. If you spin the "1" around in such a way that it makes the letter Q with the "0", then you get to play a game.
It's a complete novelty.
The newer build on OP7Pro has the new Easter Egg and the first part works, but there is no game.
