[Q] MOTOACTV adb and fastboot not working

Software version : MA 1.7.12 N8
Total Disk Space : 8G
Adb in normal startups and fastboot in bootloader mode ( after pressing power + volume down ) are not working
Could anyone tell me how to solve this Thanks in advance
Have you enabled USB Debugging?
I don't think there's an option to enable USB Debugging in the original system before getting into fastboot and rooting the device.
Are you able to boot into the ROM? You just can't use adb & fastboot?
Yes I can boot into the ROM. It's the original ROM. And I can't use adb or fastboot.
You have a start button? Try start + power to boot into fastboot mode.
Thanks for your reply&time.
I believe that power + volume down is the way to boot into fastboot now, and after booting into fastboot and connecting the USB line, (fastboot devices) command in the computer (tried Mac OS X 10.8, Windows XP virtual machine and Windows 7) shows no device connected. When using start+power, my device boots normally into the original rom.
All right. I think I just got rid of the fastboot issue. There's something missing with the driver. I'll post my solution after I verify it and flash DPRom successfully.
The problem is acutually pretty silly. A proper adb driver is required for fastboot.
I installed tineprogramming's adb driver to fix it.

[Q] Alcatel One Touch 983 Fastboot

Trying to connect via Fastboot, device manager recognizes the phone as Mass Storage device so i can't enter into fasboot mode to flash it. I have a wrong Recovery that boots but doesn't make me select any option. Windows 8 also recognizes it as Vodafone Smart II.
I need to know:
- How can i Unbrick this device?
Notes:
- Have Adb drivers, fastboot drives, broadcom drivers, Qualcom drivers
- Have ROM Files
- No acces to operative system (I said its bricked)
- Installed a wrong cwm recovery, its boots into but no Ok button working.

[Q] Disabling MTP Mode and enabling USB Debugging while Phone is Off

Dear Experts,
I Unlocked the Bootloader of My Xperia L using the official Sony way. But after the successful unlocking the Phone is not booting at all. It gets stuck at the Xperia colour theme loading... I gone through various posts and found a solution that I have to Flash my phone using flashtools.
Now I instaled flashtools as well as the required drivers. However when I do the flashing in flash mode, the device disconnects automatically and flashtools says that "make sure you are not in MTP mode". I remember that My phone was in MTP mode when i was unlocking the bootloader and the USB debugging was always on... Now after unlocking bootloader the USB Debugging is showing as off (can be seen in the attached file)
After reading couple more posts about MTP ... I understand that I can't successfully flash unless the phone is out of MTP mode, and USB debugging is on. As my mobile is not booting, I can not go to the settings and tick or untick any of the two.
Please help me with a way to do it. I am attaching a screen print of the flashtools for Ref....
It will be a great relief to me....
Thanks in Advance...

Every Time I connect the phone in flash mode. once it starts flashing process, the phone automatically disconnects and comes on in normal mode.

how to connect in flashmode without using the buttons?im stock in sony logo and i need to turn on usb debugging to use flashtool
1, the adb drivers aren't installed correctly in your pc
2, don't worry about usb debugging
Just connect the phone to the computer in flash mode by pressing vol down and then plug-in the usb cable to your phone.
Flash tool will recognise it automatically if the drivers are installed correctly
3, then reinstall the stock ROM with flash tool
That's it
You said your device is being disconnected while flashing so
When you start flashing from flash tool start the flashing process
(Without connecting the phone to pc)
After the FTF is extracted flash tool will ask to connect the device
Then just connect your device in flash mode

Hello,
Do you know how to install fastboot or flash mode drivers in Windows 10? Also, the flashtool for me is stuck on "please wait until the end of process", how to make it work?
Note: My device gets recognized in ADB when booted up, but does not when in fastboot or flashmode. (Plugging in cable while pressing vol. down)

the drivers will be on the flash tool folder just open the app then tick drivers for Xperia L (thoshan) and general fast boot drivers.
and use the latest flash tool if you can ( Now I am using a Mac so I have a flash tool which was made for apple. but I used to flash my phone using windows and this is the version of the flash tool "flashtool-0.9.18.5" and this worked fine for me ).
if anything else is needed just reply
