Only 1 result
But without the quotes it returns a lot of results. Basically they all say to use magisk to pass safety net and hide root from snapchat. I've done this and was able to log into snapchat a month ago, but on the same rom I can't login today. Magisk says safetynet passes, I have root disabled in magisk, and did hide root and selected to hide from snapchat. My magisk is fully updated; v13.3.
Ultimately I had to downgrade from Snapchat v 10.15.5.0 which recently released to v10.14.5.0 from Aug 8. It seems the latest Snapchat doesn't login even with magisk.

Lol, the quotation marks were used to phrase the search terms so they knew what to search for, they were not to be included in the search bar. That should have been understood without explaining.

Hi
Is there any way to stop my phone updating itself. I am looking to block OTA updates on a Standard non rooted Samsung Rom?
John
Go into your settings, about device, software update. Then disable the auto update option. Done.
Without root I don't think you really can.

Ratings of the package are poor to bad for users of many Samsung models.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ospolice.packagedisabler
Or are you using a different package? I don't need this, but know of a few who don't want to root that do.

That's exactly what I use, but the pro model.
Most of the negative reviews are because you have to pay. I'm not really sure what else there is to it: it disables apps like it says.
Zero issues.

Doesn't work, License server error before program starts.
Also very dangerous tool as it needs internet to work.
If you by misstake disable something that has to do with connectivity you will end up having to do a factory restore !!
If you by misstake installed this crap onto your device, you might notice that the de-install option is greyed out, don't panic.
Go into the security section and de-select the app under device administrators.
Now it can be de-installed.
Here's a much better and SAFER alternative:

BTW,
These are the 3 packages that i needed to disable to kill OTA on my S5 with KitKat 4.4.2:
com.wssyncmldm
com.sec.android.fotaclient com.policydm
com.policydm

Hey guys,
as some of you might know, deleting system apps can be a nightmare. I developed an application that simplify this process. All you have to do is select the apps you want to remove and the app will automatically delete everything (no TWRP, no reboot).
The app is free, OPEN SOURCE and without ads; it requires root and it is compatible with Android Oreo down to Gingerbread.
Your list of deleted apps can be exported and shared with your friends.
The idea behind this project is to create a community where people share their lists of apps selected. I've created a bunch of lists HERE for the most popular phones.
Feel free to UPLOAD your list, any help is always appreciated. You can download the app from the GOOGLE PLAY.
Don't forget to hit the thanks button, thanks! <3

Finally!!
This App works perfectly.
Thanks for your effort
It works like a charme! Tnx!
Thanks very strong tool working fine for delete system app.
10/10
Thabks for your work man! I am on pie with my p20 pro, but for the life of me cant get your app to have root rights. There is no root provilege popup coming. Also cant add it in magisk :/
Any ideas what i do wrong?
Thanks
I've removed all verizon apps preinstalled on my Moto Z force at last!! Thanks a lot! will share it app with my friends
Does it permanently delete them? Anyway to backup the APK's just in case?
LG G6 @ Stock Android 8.0.0 with Magisk, not working. I have BusyBox installed but after reboot apps are still installed. I can help by sharing info if it will help to make this app better and succesfully uninstall unwanted apps.
Excuse me... a question... how the attached file is used, for example: "Samsung_Galaxy_S7.uninsSystemApp"
What's the way to work with this file? I hope a simple text list with the name of the unistallable apps.... Thank you!
Finally I found the app that lets me remove all this pre-installed useless apps! Will download it right now!
Great job!
If somebody prefers to uninstall the apps one by one, there's a list anywhere? Thanks
Finally an app that ****ing works. Thanks, OP.

Feature request:
Hide user apps.
Black/OLED theme.
Backup system apps before deleting system apps.
Very good App thank you very much
the app is no longer available in the Play Store?
where else can i find this app?
I can't see the YouTube vanced in my apps.
steps i followed:
- uninstalled system YT app using debloat module
- installed YouTube vanced from magisk modules.
- reboot phone
Did i miss something?

What worked for me wasn't deleting the YT app, but going to the market and uninstalling updates there. Then I set it to manual updates and updating the app overrides Vanced. Maybe try restoring YT and taking this approach.
I had that problem too. I actually had to uninstall the YouTube update then flash it and reboot. I think a new update on YouTube came out and the dev has to update his modified files but I think if u just turn off auto update it should work
Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using XDA-Developers Legacy app
I already uninstalled the yt app [emoji23], and i tried installing it from the playstore but didn't work

You don't have to remove youtube, you have only to unistall all update from the app, then install module and reboot, and don't forget to disable automatic update from playstore
Alternate method is that uninstall official YouTube completely via titanium backup, move the vanced apk to system/app or system/prv-apps. Reboot. That's it.
Am I missing something, I just installed the latest Vanced apk and Micro G, worked no problem. I set Vanced as default and left the normal youtube app installed for my kids to use.

It installs a standalone version of the app aside from the YouTube app. It will always work regardless of the other YouTube but you will have to manually update that one. OP is referring to the Magisk module, rather than the non root version you installed.

Ah ok thanks, just as info when you have the XDA labs app installed it notifies you when an update for Vanced is available.
Hi guys!
Well. as you know the available ROMs are GSI, so in a certain way, they are not official for our device, The main problems are that ROM turns laggy and when you try to access to your Google Account it is shown an advertisement saying that our "device is not certified by Google" then it shows some links to "solve" the issue but the explanation given is not working, then I'm going to explain how to fix that.
This explanation works for all the ROMs available for Moto E5 that I've shared and it's working!!
Well, you have recently installed the rom, then you need to skip the whole setup and not getting access to Wi-fi, because you won't be able to skip the setup.
Install this app
https://www.dropbox.com/s/pgly6telvzts3ue/DeviceID.apk?dl=0
Open it, and select: Google Service Framework (GSF), then copy that code
Now go to this page: https://www.binaryhexconverter.com/hex-to-decimal-converter
Paste the Hex Value and convert into decimal, then copy the Decimal Value
Go to this page: http://g.co/AndroidDeviceRegistration.
Login into your Google Account and paste your Decimal Value
Finally install this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/udfsp2su5c5m6h8/GSM.apk?dl=0
Reboot you device, and it's done
Maybe your will need to wait like 5-10 minutes until your device is registered and then you can access to all Google Services
*NOTE: Netflix is available from Play Store even having root with Magisk*
I hope you guys find this useful and working, sorry for missing screenshots but it's easy...

No, if the gapps are already installed don't do that, if you install over already installed gapps, the apps will start to crash

Hey everyone,
Out of nowhere, Google Pay stopped working for me. I checked Magisk (latest version) and I'm failing attestation. Did Google push some update that I'm unaware of? Anyone else seeing the same thing?

Yes. Last week they made a server side change. See this thread... https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/magisk-module-universal-safetynet-fix-1-1-0.4217823/
You may also have to use MHPC to change fingerprint, etc, and clear cache & data from Google Pay and Google Play System.

Yes, totally forgot that I created this thread.
I installed the universal fix Magisk module linked above, but that still didn't work. I then went into Magisk Hide and enabled all of the modules for all of the Google Play apps. After I did that, then I was able to use Google Pay successfully. Hope that helps.

Try also clearing cache and data from Google Pay and Google Play System.
So, I still don't know what's wrong. I pass everything in magisk, but it still says it's not set up in the new google pay app. Any suggestions?
