Battery apps/tips/tutorials for Android 7.1? - Android General

I would use amplify if Android Nougat had support for xposed but now I don't know what other options I have. So my question is what alternative do I have?

Which Rom has the lowest Battery drain??
I use SlimX based on 6.0.1 Marshmallow for my Z5 E6653...
In addition I have Xposed Framework + SuperSU for root rights...
some xposed modules I use for better battery life:
Greenify (Pro Version)
Amplify (Pro Version)
Intelli3G (switched from 4G to EDGE when the device is locked)

Android Nougat or Oreo?

I'm trying to figure out if upgrading to Android Oreo would be a good idea.
I'm running Nougat 7.1.2 with CarbonROM iny Sony Xperia Z5, an well, it's official that my device won't upgrade to Android 8.0, but that's not the point.
I'm using Xposed modules, Root (idk if it's possible to root android 8 yet) and all the advantages that it gives in terms of modules, customization, performance etc.
So, should I wait until Xposed is available on Android 8.0 or is ot worth it to upgrade as soon as possible (with a custom rom)?
What do you guys think about it? Would it be stable enough?

Xposed Framework Device Compatibilty

Hi
I have a primary phone (Xiaomi mi 8) running Android 10. I also have an SM-A710M galaxy (I know this not popular at all) running LineageOS
Both these phones are rooted with magisk and I tried to install the xposed framework on the Samsung using this tutorial : https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-systemless-xposed-t3388268
In this thread, it is said that the framework works on all Android versions and that if a device supports Magisk rooting, then Xposed is also supported
Well actually that is not true as it turns out xposed is not supported on my two different phones.
Is this a bug ? Is it just because Xposed is not THE APP IT USED TO BE ? Or are my phones really not compatible ?
Sorry for my english :crying:
Thanks for any help
