Because Sony's Android™ Concept is a quick and lite os for your device .
What you need to create this concept ????

1. Uncheck md5 in recovery !! , Make 2 backups of actual ROM and BOOT !! , this is very important for next step and your security .
(first : data , system , boot , first backup is four you only , second : only system and boot)
2. Copy your second backup to folder on desktop
3.Work only in backup on desktop !!
4.Edit system via 7zip
5.Go to app folder , next folder is priv-app - this files is in system !!
6.Than you start work , check other apps , you can do this using APK INFO ( Sometimes is games in this app you find other folders with apps !! )
WORK
1. In 7zip edit app folder
2. Look on the screens (screens - in screen you have apps to save in your backup)
3. Delete apps other , save only apps in backup from screen other apps must be deleted
4. Do the same in priv-app
5. Games and other trashes from other folders you delete at your own risk
Now if you finish your job , copy to your sd card new backup image .
REMEMBER DELETE SYMLINKS TOO WITH THE SAME NAME IN FOLDER OR YOU BRICK YOUR SYSTEM !!
Wipe data , system , cache , dalvik etc. and restore your new backup .
READY , reboot and wait to finish boot . This is 5-40 minutes don't stress wait .
Any problems ???? Back to your backup !!
Good luck with your work [/CENTER]

[Q] Need help on restoring save game file...PRO'S help me.

Hello guys...first of all, i would like to thank you for your time reading my thread and about my problem
And i am sorry if i posted this on the wrong section.
I have been searching for days and in many forums, also googled about my problem...but to no use
I hope the pro's out there can help me out.
Okay..i am playing maplestory live deluxe game from the play store.
The problem is that i want to restore a maplestory live save game file. The save game file is from another link on the internet, which someone else played and uploaded it for other people to use. I want to use it. The save game has many godly items that i need.
But i dunno how to patch the save game file to my maplestory live file, so that i can use that save game.
I use android device (samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 gt-p3100)
It has [email protected] rooted
Already install titanium backup
The person who posted the save game link said that, the save game file must be extracted and placed under sdcard/titanium backup folder on my device. Then open the titanium backup app and search for the folder...then hit restore.
The biggest problem is, my titanium backup could not detect the save game file that i got from the link.
I know the file is not corrupt cause other people who downloaded it has no problem whatsoever in restoring the file.
I already tried menu>prefrences>backup folder location>detect>whole device on my TB, but it says "no backup location was found"
The save game file is there under sdcard/titanium backup. I can see it clearly...but for some reason TB cannot detect it under the backup/restore tab.
I have also tried reboot to recovery and fix permission...but the problem persist.
Do help me...and thank you in advance
Anyone??...help..
I'm not sure but what i think is u already have a backup in ur titanium backup so it wont show to restore data from the new saved file.
So try this
1. Take a backup of tb folder (in case u mess up)
2. Except the apk file in tb folder in sd card delete other 2 files.
3. Then try the same procedure as above (i.e. copy the data to tb folder again....and so on)

Sorry..but i don't get what u are saying.
Delete other 2 files? Which file?
There are 3 files on your tb folder
1. Apk
2. Tar.gz (data)
3. Properties file (all compressed)
U have to delete the tar.gz (the data file) in ur tb folder and then put the new data file in that folder and try restore again.

Negative...does not work for me.
Okay...its my first time using TB..
I think the main problem is that i dunno how to access folder or file from TB.
Whenever i hit the Backup/Restore in TB it only opens a list of app that says "Ordered by app name (click to change)"
The list of app name is very long and have 3 colours : red, green and white.
Well i know the red coloured is the OS Kernel and can malfunction your device if u delete or wipe it.
But i do not see any file or folder to access from there (Backup/Restore)
So, how do i backup or restore any file or folder if it isn't there..?
For example, u said to backup my tb folder...i know that the tb folder is under sdcard/titanium backup..
But i don't see it in the Backup/Restore in TB. Is there something i'm missing here?

I didnt mean backup/restore tab ... what i said was just copy your tb folder from sd card to pc in case u mess and can restore easily.
And can u just send me the file so that i can check on my side if it works.
Ok..i dunno how to put the file in this post.
But u can get the file here.. http://www.mediafire.com/?g9pvpg26gqtfg
Its a list of save game that this person uploaded and share with other people to use
I need the maplestorylvdelx.zip file and having trouble with it.
Like i said..when i extract it and put it under sdcard/titanium backup...TB just not detecting it.
When i hit Backup/Restore in TB and click on Maplestory icon to restore data...there is no restore option...only backup option.

Well the problem at last .... its not a tb backup file..
If u wanna see how does a tb saved game file actually look like, download a7 (i.e. asphalt 7 game file) from the same link u gave me and open the zip.
Those are the tb files needed to restore game data using tb software like i told u previously (tar.gz and properties file).
Now for your solution
As your file is simple save game data file......
You only need to copy the downloaded file (i.e. maplestory.zip) to root/data/data
And start the game and u will get the saved data.
Hit thanks if i helped you

Okay...first of all, thank you for your patience with me.
Now i finally know the difference between a TB save file and a normal save game data.
Just one last noob question...
U said to extract the maplestory.zip then put it under root/data/data right?
Errr...where do i find the root/data/data folder?....lol
When i open My Files under storage>sdcard , there is no root or root/data/data folder..
But, i do have ES File Explorer and ASTRO File Manager app..
When i use both this app to look in my device...there is also no root/data/data folder... BUT there is a folder named root that is located under device...along with other folders (acct, cache, config, d and so on)
Is that the folder u are mentioning? But the root folder is empty.
And exactly what do i see in this root/data/data folder anyway?
Is it empty or have something in it?

Use root explorer ...... the first screen it shows after start is the root folder now
Scroll down and find the data
Then open that and u ll see another data folder
Open it and paste ur file in that folder.

[BACKUP][PC][ADB][BATCH-INSTALL-APK][NO-ROOT]ADB Toolbox

This project was made by me while playing around with the basics of Batch and ADB
It uses the native Android backup framework
Tested until the latest 4.2.2 firmware in Xperia L
Check Attachments for download

1.Backup App data along with apks
2.Backup system apps data
3.Backup SD app data
4.Restore *.ab ADB backups
5.Batch install any number of apks by placing in the folder provided
note:
>Does not backup user accounts or synced contacts and other sensitive data though messages etc will be backed up
>Enabling apk backup in first option will backup system apks also in the case that system backup is enabled
>Run the batch file at least once so as to create folders
>ADB Debugging must be enabled
>All backups must be in the required folder so as to restore
>You will need to activate the process in the phone so please keep your screen unlocked
>While installing apks the name must not contain multiple '.com' or unwanted symbols(such files will be omitted)
>Existing apps will be reinstalled with your apk without loss in data

RESTORE .APKs FROM CWM

Hello Friends This is my first TUTORIAL.
DO, ANYONE RATHER THAN ME (AS A NOOB) NEEDS SOME SYSTEM OR USER INSTALLED .APKS from CWM (clockwork mod) Backups? It would be easy to get them just by Re-installing the Backups. But in some Cases we don’t want to restore the whole system backup instead of SOME APPS or DATA Only.
So Here’s the Tutorial to Extract the .APKs or DATAs From the Backups which is in the .tar format. (CWM RECOVERY only.) found By ME. (I don’t know if anyone Other than me have already found this Method. Coz I Didn’t find any.)
Steps:-
1. The BACKUP of your ROM (from which you want to Restore .APKs / DATA)
2. A Computer / Android Device.
3. 7 – Zip installed (for a Computer PC) / 7 zipper (free in the Play Store) Installed (for a Android Device)
4. Now go the Backup folder and Open It.
5. If you want to restore System (Pre-installed) .APKs of CWM RECOVERY find the File Named “system.ext4.tar.a”
6. If you want to restore your USER INSTALLED .APKs of CWM RECOVERY find the File Named “data.ext4.tar.a”
7. Open it with the Respective Installed “7-Zip | 7 Zipper” via the Device you have.
8. And Navigate to the Folder “system --> app” for Pre-Installed | and for USER installed APK.s “data --> app”
9. Now you’ve got to the Respective Place and you have the Whole .APKs of your Android. Restore / Copy them Which ever you want.
10. By this Method you can obtain much more than just APKs. Coz it has simply all the Vital Data or Information of your ROM.
Note: For Installing SYSTEM APPS you have to put it to your Root/System/App folder. And give it the Appropriate PREMISSIONs.
I hope You find it Helpful Noobs. just like me.
Thanks. & Regards,

S5 Working apps on Grand 2 Kitkat !!!

these apps are work 100% (I've only tried on G8 XXV firmware) :
1.Dialer (After install the Contact, it automatically turn into s5 skin , I guest )
2.Contact
3.Music
4.File manager
5.S voice
6.Launcher (My favorite app :victory but can't change the wallpaper in the launcher ( just open the gallery and change )
And gotta be update more
Instruction :
1 Go to this thread :http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-grand-2/themes-apps/ultimate-s5-mod-one-stop-s5-mod-t2846377 and download the link of the zip ( just copy and paste ).
2. Extract the zip and copy the "app" and "priv-app" into any file in your Grand 2.
3.Install any kind of root file manager (I recommend the Root explorer , it's easy to use )
TO INSTALL THESE APPS, YOU MUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION BELOW, ALL OFF THESE APP MUST SET THE PERMISSIONS TO WORK :
1. For the Dialer and Contact, open the Root explorer, safely backup your "SecContact_Osup.apk (and .odex)" and the " SecContactProvider.apk (and .odex)" . This is my way : copy those file to another file. After that, delete all of those file. Then copy the "SecContact.apk" and the "SecContactProvider.apk" in the zip to your "priv-app" file. After reboot, you'll have both the Dialer and Contact with S5 theme
2.For the Music app, do the same thing to backup the "MusicCommonUtility.apk ( and .odex too)" , "MusicLiveShare2.apk" (and odex) and the "MusicPlayerWT.apk" ( and odex). Then delete all of those and copy only the "SamsungMusic_20.apk" to the "app" file. Reboot
3.Just do the same thing for the File manager ( bakup the apk and odex then delete it and copy the app in the zip).
4. For the S voice, backup the apk, delete it, download the apk below, then copy to the "app" file and reboot.
5. Backup the and and odex of the "SecLauncher3", delete it, copy "TouchwizHome.apk" into "priv-app" and reboot. For themechooser, install the "ThemeChooser.apk" as a normal apk.
To have theme, go to this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2711245
If have any bugs, just let me know.
If it work for you, hit the "thanks" button
I'm gonna post the "TouchwizHome", "ThemeChooser", "S Voice" later, just install the other apps
