Bluetooth audio lag with DOSS soundbox speaker - Huawei Mate 9 Questions & Answers

Hi,
I am having this strange issue when i vonnect my mate 9 to the bluetooth speaker DOSS soundbox. There is a 2 second lip sync audio video lag while playing netflix/youtube or any other video app. The same doesn't happen if I connect to any other Bluetooth speaker. I have tried 2 other devices but they work fine.
I have tried resetting the bluetooth preferences and cleared the bluetooth list, unpaired repaired the soundbox. Cleared the phone cache. Everything. Nothing seems to work.
Can anybody help? Is anyone having a similiar issue.
Thanks!

Hi, same here, i tried with a bluetooth speaker of my friend but i tried only with music player. I used poweramp and audio had lags but when i switched to stock music player it worked just fine. Don't know about netflix or youtube and cant even try at the moment cause i dont own a bluetooth speaker

Bluetooth sounds lags

Hello.
I have a Sennheiser PXC310BT bluetooth headset which I've been using to listen to music and movies with on my Galaxy Nexus. There it works flawlessly.
But I noticed that on my Note 10.1, the lags a few milliseconds - enough to notice when I'm watching movies/series. I've tried both the stock player and DicePlayer, and the same is happening. If I disconnect the headset and use the speakers, the sounds is correct.
Anyway to fix this?

I have been using my Bluetooth headphones - about 3 diff pairs as well as my Blubridge bluetooth hook up on my stereo with no lag issues...
I know you probablly dont want to hear that but i figured i would note it- just so you would not focus only on a fix for the tab. Maybe try unpairing and forgetting your headset and than reboot, than repair it and connect. Worth a shot.
Good luck
I also have quite noticeable lag with my Sennheiser BT headphones. I'm running with the latest software update... I wonder i that makes a difference?

All Media Except Pandora Play Through Bluetooth

Running Codename Android
I set up my phone to play through a Bluetooth stereo dock and at first BeyondPod wasn't playing through it but Google Play music was. BeyondPod Started playing through the speakerphone instead. When I realized Play Music was working I opened up Pandora and it also played through the Bluetooth.... until the first song ended and it switched over to the speaker phone. Oddly enough, BeyondPod then started playing through bluetooth. I rebooted the phone and now Pandora is permanently playing through speaker phone only. I downloaded and used BT mono, which caused Pandora to play through Bluetooth with a 15 second delay, but when I shut it off it played through Bluetooth perfectly! I rebooted my phone and it is back to speaker phone only. Now BT mono does not affect it at all.
Summary of what I have tried:
Two separate Bluetooth devices, same behavior
BT mono app, worked at first (crappily) but now has no effect.
Multiple reboots, cleared data and reinstalled Pandora, no effect.
Unchecked and recheck BT setting in Pandora, no effect.
The Bluetooth devices are set to "media" in the bluetooth setting, and one of them was set to "media" and "Phone"
Is this a ROM issue? I love this rom... Any other ideas? I don't think it is a problem with the bluetooth devices considering every other app works fine.
Ok so to add to the mystery, I just tried Double Twist, and it did exactly what pandora did. It played the first song through Bluetooth, and when it cycled to the next track it went to speaker phone. Now I can't get Double Twist back to Bluetooth.
IF anyone is following this, I have found that if I enable BT Mono, the sound stops playing from the speaker, and when I disable BT mono it start playing through Bluetooth.
So just a toggle on and off and it randomly works, sometimes it does nothing though. It's incredibly inconsistent.
Could this be a kernel issue?
Appears to be a general CM10 issue. Sorry.
Not sure what the issue is but I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus with the same issues. I'm trying to find a fix but nobody knows what is going on. I saw on other forums someone referencing the AVRCP version with new builds. Not sure if this is it or not. But I have a 2011 Toyota Camry it will not pair with for Pandora, YouTube, etc... Google Music works but that's it. And I can replicate your issue. If music is playing, I can hear notifications but if it isn't I don't hear anything.
Not sure if this will work for you but it worked for my HTC One and 2011 Sienna:
Launch pandora
Launch Google Play Music
Under Manage apps, select Google Play Music and stop it.
Sometimes Pandora starts streaming at this point.
If not, select Pandora from Running and stop everything under it.
Restart Pandora and it should stream now.

[Q] Bluetooth audio too quiet with GoogleNow, all other bluetooth audio is good

I have been using the Nexus 5 for a day now, and have encountered the most annoying problem... When the phone is connected to my car bluetooth (toyota Rav4), any audio spoken back from the GoogleNow tool is way too soft/quiet. All other bluetooth audio however is great, loud and clear. For example, if I use GoogleNow to say Navigate to HomeDepot, it will respond back "navigating to HomeDepot" at a volume level way too low to even barely hear, but once the maps application opens and starts speaking directions, the audio is great. It is only the GoogleNow voice that is down too low... all other BT audio and apps are just fine. This happens for any audio from GoogleNow played back in BT.
Can anyone else repeat the same problem? It can't be hardware related, right, since all other BT audio works fine?
Any ideas to resolve are appreciated.

Bluetooth audio problem

Hello there guys! what's up?? Just wondering if anyone has had this issue or maybe someone can give me a shout with the next problem.
I connect my headset through bluetooth to my phone, it pairs correctly and everything seems correct. When I try to play a video, song, spotify, youtube or whatever thing just to listen something, the sound is coming from the phone, not from the headset even it's more interesting when I can pause, stop, play, etc the next song with the buttons in my headset but as I said, the audio is never coming from my headset.
I've tried to clean the bluetooth cache and some apps and still I have the issue, is anyone able to throw me green light about that please?
Thank you very much in advance!!
I face the same issue. Though turning off Bluetooth and enabling it again fixes the issue temporarily.
