Don't know much about the MM ROMs but Nougat has the updated drivers for you to use gaming wise. Which is up to you.

I've got only answer for you: the best choice it's you which can do it.
So try those roms and you will see the rom which is better for you. Everybody can says: "yes, this rom is better than the others, or not...this is better "
All users want ram and performance, and don't forget a rom which is smooth and stable
Hey guys,
Question: I would like to install a custom rom on my Moto G, but only for the following reasons:
1. Blazing fast performance (better then stock!), lightweight rom
2. Good battery life like stock
I experience a bit of lagginess with faux kernel and kitkat 4.4 so maybe it is time to try a custom rom. I only hesitate to install a rom because most of the roms are still full of bugs. So basically, which rom offers great, fast performance for our Moto G and is bugfree? Or is it better to stay on stock and is it too early to install good custom roms?
And also: when I try to flash a rom (I only tried Kitkat+ and CM11) I get bootloop (recovery is CWM and kitkat 4.4, rooted)
Thanks in advance!

[Q&A] What is your favourite rom and kernel for best battery life and performance ?
Nowadays , I'm changing a lot of rom but I cant decide to which one is best ? What about you ? What is the best rom and kernel do you think ? I'm waiting for your valuable comments
anybody at home?
Personally, i prefer XtreStoLite rom both for 5.1.1 and 6.0.1, and as for kernel i'd go for hacker/arter (assuming you are running 6.0.1) for 5.1.1 Unikernel is a great kernel aswell!

Since there is not yes Nougat official....
try out any Custom rom
Does stock run better than custom roms out right now for the honor 8?
Stock EMUI 4.1 is the best for performance and battery life. Nougat stock and custom both are not very good.
Stock ROM got more features built-in then custom roms and it works better. Also stock camera is best
