By far the easiest app I've seen is "ZEDGE". You can upload your favorite songs, cut and edit it. then create a ringtone as you like.
You can also download your previously made ringtone.

It's been a while since I took time to setup my homescreen and my new S4 needed some love. I made a setup called DropUI last time. Many people loved it, even I liked it...... for a week. It wasn't functional, it looked cool but I never actually used all of the hoemscreen except for the music screen.
So this time around I have kept it really minimal. Most of the things are controlled via Nova Launchers gesture controls. Rest of it is UCCW, I am still messing around with UCCW, used to use Minimalistic Text. Music widget is via Poweramp.
Hope you guys like it, would appreciate some love on MyColorScreen and DeviantArt too!
XDA Exclusive (for now)- Attached the UCCW uzip file.
Important!- Please rename the .zip -> .uzip

Ever left your phone on silent and forget where did you put it? Most of the time people forget where did they put their phone not even mentioning when the phone is silent. [App] Set Videos As Ringtones, Notifications & Alarms On Android

Most of you would definitely be familiar with creating custom ringtones for your smartphone, but have you ever wanted to have a video clip play each time you receive a call? Because this is what dodol pop is all about. Fresh at the Google Play Store, this Android app lets you set videos as not only ringtones but also alarms and notifications. You can either choose from a bunch of user-generated videos, or create a custom video or sound clip of your own by recording it via the integrated camcorder. You can also edit audio files already on your device to make custom ringtones with the app.
The quintessential feature here is to let you swap your conventional ringtones and notification alert sounds with video tones. Besides videos, you can also use custom sound clips.

[Q]How to make an app dedicated for a lover?

I know this will sound crazy but I want to make an app that is interactive and dedicated only to my girlfriend. My idea is that once you open that app,
** It will give you a title screen with background picture of both of you.
** That title screen has 3 options,
1.) Videos
2.) Pictures
3.) Exit
Once you open the "Videos", it will open all of your videos that involves both of you, and of course if an independent video player is very difficult to include, then after you select a video, the user will be prompted on what player to choose, for example a window will pop-up with a selection of "MX Player" and "Album/Gallery" app and there's two option below which is "ALWAYS" and "ONCE"
And on the other hand, same interaction in the "Pictures" department, wherein all of your pictures will show, and there's an option "SlideShow".
I know the question of "where would the videos and pictures come from??", I'm planning to make a folder which consists of all the videos and pictures (probably it's about 3Gb-4Gb) and just simple copy-paste it in the source folder of the app. For example, it should be place on the /android/obb
Do you think it is possible? If so, how should I begin then?
This is the title screen I'm thinking about, and of course we are those silhouettes.
That is 1080p x 1920p resolution (dedicated for her Samsung S4 GT-i9505)

Android App Dedicated for a Lover
On first start up of App, ask your lover to configure a dedicated folder to store personalized videos and Photos. Then implement Video Player and Image browser. This app is just a two in one type so not much hassle in implementation.
Up! I really want to pursue this app. Please help me guys
Sounds like a great idea, I'll be keeping an eye on this thread, to see how it goes, never made an app before but doesn't seem to terribly complicated to make something simple like this. Then again I could be wrong lol.
interesting idea... will keep myself posted to this thread.
Any xda masters here who can give me an idea or even a headstart?

[Q] Skýpe - Auto Download Feature

Hello. First of all - i know about the Virus Risk...
Is there a way, that Skype AUTOMATICLY Downloads Files, WITHOUT ASKING?
I don't want to confirm always to download a file.
And Virusses are not important...
because nobody sends me a Virus!
The Reason - sometimes i can't recieve the Files because i didn't accept them. I don't know why.....
I searched in the Internet and Found out, that the Feature existed once! And also, the Skype of 2012 looks much better! It did show the Number of Online Contacts, Icons in the Context-Menu and it's design was simply much better! I truly loved it that time ❤❤❤❤❤ But now....

Duplicate Filenames
... AND IF THERE IS A DUPLICATE FILENAME,
then the file must be AUTOMATICLY renamed.
Foreign, Unknown Users
And yes, surely! Files must be also accept automaticly from every User!!! Including those which aren't in my Contacts!!!!!
But Yes i know about dangerous files.
So now my idea is - files from Unknown Users go to Quarantine.
But that's not very important.
The most important thing is:
Files get Downloaded Istantly Automaticly.
If i get a File, whose name already exist in my Skype-Download (Reçieved Files), then the File also should renamed without prompting me.
Just Download and Rename Automaticly.
And allow Files from every user. (Also they should be downloaded automaticly...)
Skype is still OK for me...
But that time far back in 2012, it looked much better ❤
Sending messages to the Echo/Sound Test Service... THAT WAS A FUN!
and it's also been very useful!
It was quite useful to make Quick-Notes and telling this Service your biggest Secrets

I know someone, that had fun to offend this Service. Her insults were Terrible, Horrible!
But now... messages to the Soundtest Service aren't „available“ but you can see the messages, that you once wrote. They are stilll availible.
That good old time...
Skype Extras and the The Counter of ONLINE MEMBERS!!!!! I miss it....(:crying::crying:

would be a nice idea!

Skype has many Secred and Unlisted Commands and roles, which aren't on the Microsoft Site. For P²P and Cloud-Chats.

Skype 5.x.x.x Still Cute but Overtaken by Microsoft and no Auto-Download Feature.
Skype 6.x.x.x First Ugly Design
Skype 7.x.x and Higher - Eyesore - but Auto-Downoad feature is back‼
